    I have RHEL 5 lan server with squid 2.6 stable proxy settings, Under this have some windows xp desktops Now i installed filezilla ftp client in windows xp, for give services to my client's websites But i can't connect ftp servers throw filezilla , I set generic proxy too. ( HTTP/1.1 USING CONNECT method ) I get error message like this, Status: Connecting to (ftp hostname) through proxy Status: Connecting to hostname:port... Status: Connection with proxy established, performing handshake... Response: Proxy reply: HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden How can i solve this problem ?

    In my VPS (Hypervm/CENTOS 5.8 i686 virtuozzo) I need to add IP bans with comments ( http://spamcleaner.org/en/misc/iptables-comment.html ) When I type: iptables -A INPUT -s 222.111.111.111 -j DROP -m comment --comment "spammer123" I receive: iptables: Unknown error 4294967295 I research almost 2 hours but i find nothing, someone says "its a bug and you have to rebuild kernel!?" Does anyone know a solution or a different method for adding a comment or note ?

    I have an old Novell server which runs DocsOpen. I know very little about this system, basically we had a disk fault which halted the system. The server was rebooted and came up, I had to manually mount the DATA volume and then reboot again. All seems to be working but nobody can get in to DocsOpen, getting the error ORA-01034: Oracle not available.

Now I can't see reports, change accounts, or use any of the Encryption key tools in the configuration manager. I receive a "Creating Encryption Key Backup" error 0x80090016.     Hi, I install apache, mysql, php and then phpmyadmin on ubuntu desktop 10.04 version I test apache: localhost with browser and its works. I test mysql with console and its works. I test phpmyadmin http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ and get error 404 not found I see that solution for that brobem, copy /phpmyadmin/ to /www/, but I dont want to put in /www/ to my websites files (maybe I wrong or miss something-please tell me in this case). How this problem can be solved in the best way? Thanks

    I can't open my hard disk drive. The error box says "RUnDLL, there was a problem starting ~$WCFLPM.FAT32 The specified module could not be found". My HDD has a virus before.     Trying to view a javascript file on my home server I get the following error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /jquery-1.8.2.js on this server. Apache/2.2.22 (Fedora) Server at 192.168.1.3 Port 80 I have given all users access to the file like this: sudo chmod -R 777 /var/www/html/jquery-1.8.2.js I have even gone as far as changing the user & group properties in the httpd.conf file.

    I am creating a tarball from a bunch of files in one machine under my $USER - I have set execute permissions to all the files, but when I copy it over to another user in a different machine, there is an 'access permission denied error' when that user tries to access some of the files. I do not have root/sudo privileges. How would I resolve that? What are the rules to create universally distributable tarballs? Thanks.

    I have an EC2 instance that just went offline (cannot even be pinged) but is still reflected as operational. In an effort to retrieve data stored on an attached EBS, I did a forced detach of the mounted volume, launched a new instance, and tried attaching the EBS volume. However, I keep getting an error - mount: Stale NFS file handle whenever I do so. Did I just lose all my files?

  • 404 Error on a file that exists?

    Hello all, A script makes a GET request to my URL like so: http://mydomain.com/cgi-bin/uu_ini_status_audios.pl?tmp_sid=b742be1d131c4d32237a9f1fcdca659e&rnd_id=0.2363453360320319 However, I get a 404 returned straight away: The requested URL /cgi-bin/uu_ini_status_audios.pl was not found on this server. But that script exists on my server, I can see the file! It has the correct permissions (I gave it a 777 to be sure). It is also owned by my apache user and its in the group apache. What am I missing?? Thanks for any help on this! Update I thought it would have been a htaccess (rewrite) but I don't think it is anymore. I tried putting a index.php file in there and try to access it via my URL but I can't even do that! I tried this: http://mydoamin.com/cgi-bin/index.php - same 404 error!   • Suddenly get "apt-get: symbol lookup error" when using apt-get

    I have no idea what has gone wrong here. I have installed the audiotool sox, then tried to install the library libsox-fmt-all and all of a sudden apt-get refused to work. I cannot use it now, neither to update nor to install anything. Could somebody suggest what i could do to get it back to work?
