  • Line for signature in markdown

    I'm writing a document using markdown, which I'm exporting to a PDF using pandoc. At the end of the document I need to have space for signatures on a printed copy of the PDF. I've tried to find how to draw a line with a fixed width, but so far I only got to escaping the underscore character, which doesn't feel quite right. It's as if I'm missing something, this couldn't possibly be that unusual to want to do. Any help or pointers are greatly appreciated.

    Hi, I'm trying to get a report done and I have a small problem with the twocolums and the line numbering in listings. The text is on two columns, the listings can be on the two columns as well. If I put the number=left, the space between the columns is not sufficient and the text from the first column is written over. Is there any way to ask the listings to put the line numbers "outside" ?   • PHP - Check for whitespace at beginning of string

    I need to use preg_match to check that only a-z0-9. is used (including full stop(.)). I don't want to replace anything. My problem is that it doesn't notice white space at beginning of a string. Also, if anyone knows how to check there is no two full stops in a row, I would be very grateful. What I have so far: ("/[^a-z0-9.]+$/",$request) Thanks !

    I have a server and a client written in C. I try to load a shared library in the server and then pass library function pointers to the client. This way I can change the library without have to compile the client. Because of every process has its own separate memory space, I wonder if it is possible to load a shared library on a shared memory, pass the function pointers and map the shared memory on the client and then make the client execute the code of the library loaded by the server.
