    The question might look subjective but considering Microsoft: Owns the Xbox 360 platform Owns the Windows platform Have their own game studio (MGS) Own other 3rd party developers Is a major publisher makes me wonder why Microsoft doesn't push their flagship language to prove that not only you can cut down significant development time, and therefore money, but also show that you can release a next gen title where the real time interactivity doesn't suffer. If Microsoft were to do this once, I am sure many AAA developers would jump on that wagon too.

  • Is there an HTML attribute to tell smartphone keyboards to show special email keys?

    I notice that when using my touch-screen smartphone (no physical keyboard) that when an app asks for an email address to be entered in a textbox, the on screen keyboard is modified slightly to provide specialized keys that enter blocks of text, like '.com' or push some characters to the foreground key, like '@'. Is there an HTML attribute or style that I can add to my HTML input boxes that will tell the smartphone/browser to provide these specialized keys?

I'm using XSLT transformation and the basic idea is to get a part of the XML and subquery it so the calls are faster and less expensive.   • Making footer image stick to bottom of web browser or page

    Hello, I know this has been asked alot of times in the past but for the life of me I can't seem to get any of the other solutions to work. What I'm trying to do is to get the footer (which is an image that repeats across the width of the page) to stick to the bottom of the browser when there isn't enough content to naturally push it to the bottom of the page and when there IS enough content to push it to the bottom it does just that. An example is the one at http://www.themaninblue.com/experiment/footerStickAlt/good_example_short.htm which does exactly what I want but I can't get to work either. The code that I've currently got implemented makes the footer stick to a certain section of the page with text going under it. You can see it at sourcectrl.co.uk but its not much to look at. I'm seeing between 36 and 66MB/s of throughput, which seems somewhat slow to me. What are normal throughput ranges for binary data on a local socket connection?

I don’t create the whole tree at the same time. I create 2 levels, level 1 and level 2. My goal is to attach custom events on the panels which represent tree nodes. When users click the panels, it dispatches custom events and try to generate the next level. So, it goes like this : On creation complete - get JSON- create top tow levels - click on level 2- create the level 2 and level 3 - click on level 3- create level 3 and 4. …and so on and so on.     i have a modelview controller with more than 20 views and imageviews. im navigating to other controller while loading this controller textfiled bocomefirst responder and keyboard will be there.Here the push navigation is very slow and not smooth. when i pop previoius controller the keyboard moving very fast to right and then only controller moving. if anybody know the reason please help me. i have to keep the keybord with tht controller.

  • Stop browser throbber spinning for Comet using iframe

    When I use comet using iframe push, the browser throbber will keep spinning forever while the data is being pushed through the iframe. Lightstreamer is also using iframe, but how do they manage to make it stop? I found a similar post here but it doesn't seem to solve my problem. Unfortunately, when a link is clicked, the lightbox that is loaded starts at the same scroll position as the previous one. I tried using self.scrollTo(0,0) $.scrollTo(0) $('#top').scrollTo(); and a few others methods to push it back to the top, but none have seemed to work. Any help on this?

  • Switching between landscape views

    What is the best way to switch between views that are both in Landscape mode? I've tried with a simple "Push and Pop" methods that work fine when I try them with Portrait views but when I do it with Landscape for some reason it does the switching like the method was supposed to work just for Portrait views and a the end of the switch it autorotates back to Landscape.... if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.     I've got a solution which I setup / cleanup using batch files ... - there are a pair of MSMQ ports, send and receive, with another application on the end of the queues I'm finding I can't properly stop the orchestration in the batch file ... the error is the send port is unenlisted - I'm using the StopOrch.vbs script from the SDK samples But I can go into BizTalk Admin Console and manually stop the orchestration with Full Terminate Ok The setup / cleanup works Ok if I don't actually push any messages down the MSMQ queues
