• Windows 7 only IE working other browsers not

  I have strange behavior with browsers on my PC (but it work well before yesteday) My Chrome, FF (ERROR: Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown Error ) write me that can't connect to Internet I need to check Proxy, Firewall etc. I did it and all settings are fine, on other PC in this area all working with the same settings. • Cannot play sound: device being used by another application

  I tried to change my speaker setup and every time I click "test" I get this error message on Windows 7 SP1. I tried running "sndvol" to view the applications list but the list is empty. Since I tried to test the new speaker setup, I'm now left without sound for all applications and can't get sound even if I switch back. I have not updated my sound drivers so I don't know what could have changed. What could be causing this?

  So far I used trap " call function" 2 fucntion { ./test.sh exit } but it never reaches the exit line and a whole bunch of process piles up any one got any idea? I tried & (bg) but i need to be able to keep doing it , the bg only allows me to do it once The point of it is when i type ctrl C it should terminate the original test.sh but it should also call itself before terminating hence create a new process.

• How can I force mail clients like Outlook or Thunderbird to load SSL images with invalid certificate?

  Essentially, we only encounter this issue with our testing environments, where we send mail that contains HTTPS links that point to test servers with self-signed SSL certificates. In a browser I can select to accept the certificate. Is there something similar for mail clients like Thunderbird or Outlook that I can use? Currently, we don't see any images in our test mail, which greatly confuses the UAT team.

As result IEXPLORAR remain running. What is the problem? Of course it is possible to just kill the process like this: // Id of IEXPLORAR _ie.ProcessID Process.GetProcessById(_processId).Kill(); this._ie = null; But I don't really like this way... Any ideas?

  Take a simple table like below: Column Headings: || Agent's Name || Time Logged In || Center || Row 1: Andrew || 12:30 PM || Home Base Row 2: Jeff || 7:00 AM || Virtual Base Row 3: Ryan || 6:30 PM || Test Base Now lets say that a single cell is deleted so the table now looks like this: Column Headings: || Agent's Name || Time Logged In || Center || Row 1: Andrew || 12:30 PM || Row 2: Jeff || 7:00 AM || Virtual Base Row 3: Ryan || 6:30 PM || Test Base Notice that "Home Base" is missing. Now in excel you can delete the cell and shift the rest so the finished product looks like below: Column Headings: || Agent's Name || Time Logged In || Center || Row 1: Andrew || 12:30 PM || Virtual Base Row 2: Jeff || 7:00 AM || Test Base Row 3: Ryan || 6:30 PM || And you can see we are left with a blank cell last row.   I'm testing CeGCC, that is a gcc built to cross-compile applications to Windows CE devices. As everyone do to test compilers, I've done a Hello World program: #include <stdio.h> int main() { printf("Hello, World!"); return 0; } As I'm using Windows now(because this is my other laptop), I'm using Cygwin. But when I tried to compile I got some errors, as you can see on the terminal log: C:\Dev\WinCE\Testarm-mingw32ce-gcc test.c /opt/mingw32ce/libexec/gcc/arm-mingw32ce/4.4.0/cc1.exe: error while loading shared libraries: cygmpfr-1.dll: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory C:\Dev\WinCE\Test What can I do?

  Hello everybody. I've installed on my iPhone ad-hoc version, so it means distribution one. I've downloaded apns-shart library and tried to test push notifications on that. I have all necessary certificates. I've succeeded to push notifications using test notification project and with this everything is fine. My problem is: when I've tried to use test feedback project it fetched needed device tokens, but when I've tried to launch it second time, it return 0 bytes. What ca I do to fix the problem.

• Unit testing a database connection and general questions on database-dependent code and unit testing

  Hi, If I have a method which establishes a database connection, how could this method be tested? Returning a bool in the event of a successful connection is one way, but is that the best way? From a testability method, is it best to have the connection method as one method and the method to get data back a seperate method? Also, how would I test methods which get back data from a database? I may do an assert against expected data but the actual data can change and still be the right resultset. EDIT: For the last point, to check data, if it's supposed to be a list of cars, then I can check they are real car models. Or if they are a bunch of web servers, I can have a list of existant web servers on the system, return that from the code under test, and get the test result. If the results are different, the data is the issue but the query not? THnaks
