    In my app I have a uisegmentedcontrol in the navigation bar, as the right button item. the code: segmentedControl.segmentedControlStyle = UISegmentedControlStyleBar; segmentedControl.tintColor = [UIColor colorWithRed:0.70 green:0.171 blue:0.1 alpha:1.0]; works in OS2 but not OS3...? ade. p.s. my base sdk is 3.0

  • Too many concurrent connections Exchange 2010. What else is there to check?

    I thought that I had this under control before. But for some reason during our last email marketing promo, I start receiving from our mass email client (built in house).. The message could not be sent to the SMTP server. The transport error code is 0x800ccc67. The server repsonse was 421 4.3.2 The maximum number of concurrent connections has exceeded a limit, closing transmission channel again. There's several places I've checked to make sure that wouldn't be an issue. First I checked that receive connector was set to receive an adequate number of connections on our relay connector (1000 connections). Then, I would later find out about Throttling Policies. I created one and set all the properties I knew to set in terms of the policy following properties to 1000; EWSMaxConcurrency, OWAMaxConcurrency, CPAMaxConcurrency, and CPAMaxConcurrency. Still, the email client starts receiving the error shortly after 100 has been sent and takes about 15-30 seconds. The process is then repeatable, but still the error gets received at the same spot everytime. Is there a rate setting that I am missing? Was there a windows update that I missed looking at? Should the software have it's own throttling feature?

    hello I've placed this code my didload method, to get a black Navigationbar. rootTabBarController.navigationController.navigationBar.barStyle = UIBarStyleBlackOpaque; rootTabBarController.moreNavigationController.navigationBar.barStyle = UIBarStyleBlackOpaque; its working fine, but when the user rearranges the Icons in the editmode, i'm getting a default blue navigation bar. Can anyone help me to avid this ? btw: big thanks to the genius crowd!

    Hey I've added a button the my navigation bar like so: UIBarButtonItem *anotherButton = [[UIBarButtonItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Edit" style:UIBarButtonItemStylePlain target:self action:@selector(methodtocall:)]; self.navigationItem.rightBarButtonItem = anotherButton; [anotherButton release]; However when I press this I get a InvalidArgumentException. This is in a brand new navigation project. Does anyone know why I get this behaviour?

  • How to set up a easy-to-use proxy for the whole system with WinXP client and server?

    I am working together intensively with a colleague on the Canary Islands. We speak through live messenger and work together using a RDP software. She has frequent problems with connections to certain big-name and small-name sites (amongst others live.com, google.com, gmx.de) very likely to be caused by the spanish provider (the connections simply time out, this has been going on for weeks already). I have been thinking about setting up my computer as a proxy to make these connections work. I have a DSL connection and am behind a NAT capable router that I control. Does anybody know a simple, "one-click" way to transport ALL network traffic through a remote proxy? Without having to set proxy settings for each application that uses the internet? VPN is not an option, because I am behind a firewall that supports protocol 47 and such, but I have never succeeded in getting an incoming VPN connection to work. I can however redirect normal traffic using NAT. A VPN solution that does not need strange protocols would also be an option.

  • Exchange 2010 CAS Removal == Broken???

    Hi there, I recently upgraded to exchange 2010 and have a setup with 2 of my servers running CAS roles - EXCH01, EXCH02 EXCH02 just happens to also have a mailbox role where a lot of the users sit EXCH01 is my front facing CAS server, and is facing the net with SSL etc and incoming mail moving through it as a hub transport layer server as well. As i was trying to lean things out in my VM environment i removed the CAS role from EXCH02 and all hell broke loose. All the mail users that have a mailbox on EXCH02 had their homeMTA set to a deleted items folder in AD and so did their msExchHomeServer properties. After a complete battle i manually fixed these issues to the oldvalues, and in the mean time reinstalled CAS on EXCH02 (management was going nuts with out OUTLOOK working so i just put things back the way they were in a hurry.) I must add as a strange thing on the side, that before i reset these to point at EXCH02 i tried EXCH01 and it failed. I still want to remove the CAS role from EXCH02 as it should really not have it (error on install/planning on my part) and would have thought that this would not cause the issues it did, i assumed that the fact that there was another CAS server in the admin group all would be good. Was i wrong in my assumption? and what can i do to complete this successfully the second time round? Do i need to rehome all the mailboxes to the CAS server? is this a bug in the role uninstall?

    base class: Class List(Of T) Function Contains(ByVal value As T) As Boolean derived class: Class Bar : List(Of Exception) ' Exception type as example ' Function Contains(Of U)(ByVal value As U) As Boolean compiler tells me that that two are the same, so I need to declare Overloads/new this second function. But I want use U to differentiate the type (one logic) like NullReferenceException, ArgumentNull Exception, etc. but want to leave the base function(no differentiation by type - other logic) as well.

  • Hide Java application from command-tab application switcher in OSX

    I have a java application that has an icon in the tray of the menu bar at the top of OSX. I've been able to remove the icon from the dock when the application is "minimized to tray", but it still appears when I command-tab to switch between my running applications. I'd like to hide it from there too, but I'm not sure how to do that, so I would appreciate any advice Thanks!

    Using WSS 3.0, we have noticed that while users can be restricted to access only certain sub-sites of a site collection through permission settings, the same doesn't seem to be true for web services, such as /_vti_bin/Lists.asmx! Here's our experimental setup: http://formal/test : 'test' site collection - site1 : first site in test site collection, user1 is member - site2 : second site in test site collection, user2 is member With this setup, using a web browser user2 can: - access http://formal/test/site2/Default.aspx - cannot access http://formal/test/site1/Default.aspx That's what is expected. To our surprise however, using the code below, user2 can retrieve the names of the lists in site1, something he should not have access to! Is that by (unfortunate) design, or is there a configuration setting we've missed that would prevent user2 from retrieving the names of lists in site1? Is this going to be different in SharePoint 2010?   • VWD 2008 Express : where can i set absolute positioning as a default?

    So when I used Visual Web Developer 2005 Express edition, in the ribbon there was a menu option for "Layout", which you could go through and select positioning and set absolute to default. I am using Visual Web Developer 2008 Express now, and I see that you can select format from the menu bar, and set position absolute, for each individual control that you add to the design surface, but is there a place I can just set absolute as the default, like in 2005?     Hello, I've build a UINavigationBar into Interface Builder, and I have a NavigationController into my app. I'd like to make the one use the other to work. Just to manage the bar into IB and let the controller use it as its view (and adding by itself the Back button if needed), or in another way to do the same thing, let the NavBar use the navcontroller to adjust its display. Do you see a way to do this ? If not, I really don't see the use of the NavigationBar proposed into IB.

  • Postfix "mail-to-script" pipe only delivers empty messages

    i have a problem here. I want that a incoming email is piped to a php script in the system through postfix. My System is running with ispconfig 3, postfix and dovecot (< virtual mailbox users are saved in mysql). I looked already into this one: How to configure postfix to pipe all incoming email to a script? ... the script is executed, but no "message" is delivered to the script. My setup so far: In ISPConfig 3 i have set up the following email route: Active Server Domain Transport Sort by Yes example.com pipe.example.com piper: 5 excerpt from my postfix master.cf: piper unix - n n - - pipe user=piper:piper directory=/home/piper argv=php -q /home/piper/mail.php so far it is working great (mail sent to [email protected]) (mail.log): Jun 21 16:07:11 example postfix/pipe[10948]: 235CF7613E2: to=<[email protected]>, relay=piper, delay=0.04, delays=0.01/0.01/0/0.02, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (delivered via piper service) ... and no errors in mail.err the mail.php is sucessfully executed (its chmod 777 and chown'ed to piper), but creates a empty .txt file (normally it should contain the email message): -rw------- 1 piper piper 0 Jun 21 16:07 mailtext_1340287631.txt the mail.php script ive used, is the one from http://www.email2php.com/HowItWorks if i use their (commercial) service to pipe an email to the mail.php (in a apache2 environment) through a provided "pipe-email", the message is saved sucessfully and complete. But as you can see, i dont want to use external services. -rw-r--r-- 1 web2 client0 1959 Jun 21 16:19 mailtext_1340288377.txt So, whats wrong here? I think it has something to do with the "delivering configuration" in my system...
