    Hi. I'm building a location aware mobile application which uses GPS, but i'd like to be able to add cell location too. The best thing I have found so far is to use Google Gears, which has a location API available, but my application is not web based. Are there any good public cell id databases that can be accessed from any kind of application? I have found a few interesting projects out there like OpenCellID, but the database is very poor right now.

I have an off-site subversion server, and assuming the project is 'public_html' (which in this case it is), I want to be able to go to the index.html page and for it to be rendered instead of just pumped out as a text file.     Trying to override a tostring in one of my classes. return string.Format(@" name = {0} ID = {1} sec nr = {2} acc nr = {3}", string, int, int ,int); // types But the thing is, the result isn't aligned when printed out: name = test ID = 42 sec nr = 11 acc nr = 55 Trying to add \n just prints it out without formating. Guessing it has something to do with @"" which I'm using for multi-lining. Would like it to print out : name = test ID = 42 sec nr = 11 acc nr = 55

My problem is, when that image will reach to bottom of the screen it should be animated like spreading water or something like sparking occur.   • php adding images to another image, exact positioning

    I have a cool snippet of code that works well, except one thing. The code will take an icon I want to add to an existing picture. I can position it where I want too! Which is exactly what I need to do. However, I'm stuck on one thing, concerning the placement. The code "starting position" (on the main image: navIcons.png) is from the Bottom Right. I have 2 variables: $move_left = 10; & $move_up = 8;. So, the means I can position the icon.png 10px left, and 8px up, from the bottom right corner. I really really want to start the positioning from the Top Left of the image, so I'm really moving the icon 10px right & 8px down, from the top left position of the main image. For those who are wondering why I'd even bother doing this. In a nutshell, I like to add 16x16 icons to 1 single image, while using css to display that individual icon. This does involve me downloading the image (sprite) and open photoshop, add the new icon (positioning it), and reuploading it to the server. Not a massive ordeal, but just having fun with php.

Would be great for writing Android applications in Python!     I have build the web application using Java1.5, Struts framework with Mysql database Deployed on the JBOSS4.0.5 Server Every thing seems to be fine when the activity is there on the server. Every morning, If I tried to connect to application, it shows the application is down. Once I restart the server, It works fine. From past 1 month, I am just restarting the server every day. Can any one help me where I am doing wrong in the configuration settings Please suggest me How i can eliminate this extra work every day

Pingdom times out on it and returns a 'down' error. So my question is, how do I check that this thing is up and running

    Hi, I'm trying to create a CakePHP component for JQuery datatables in server-side mode. I've got the datatable working but I want to componentize it so I can reuse it in multiple controllers. When I include my new component in a controller I want it to create a new action on that controller called tabledata to handle the XHR queries from JQuery. Is such a thing possible? I'd also like to know if I'm going about this in completely the wrong way.

    Recently, I found an interesting Wiki/CMS/Database hybrid called Wagn, where the most important unit of information is the 'Card'. That terminology immediately made me think of Hypercard. As expected, there is some "Hypercard-ness" in that application. Do you know of other web applications/frameworks with that "Hypercard-ness" thing, or if its successor still must be invented? Note: I insist on web applications because I already know the desktop ones.
