  • SQL Server 2008 error message from store procedure

    Hello everyone, When we met with such error message from store procedure, Message 1205, Level 13, State 52, the process Pr_FooV2, Line 9 Services (Process ID 111) and another process is deadlock in the lock | communication buffer resources, and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction. I am wondering whether such messages are stored in log files? I searched log folder of my SQL Server 2008 installation root (in my environment, it is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log), but can not find such files. thanks in avdance, George

  • GROUP BY and SUM distinct date across 2 tables

    I'm not sure if this is possible in one mysql query so I might just combine the results via php. I have 2 tables: 'users' and 'billing' I'm trying to group summed activity for every date that is available in these two tables. 'users' is not historical data but 'billing' contains a record for each transaction. In this example I am showing a user's status which I'd like to sum for created date and deposit amounts that I would also like to sum by created date. I realize there is a bit of a disconnect between the data but I'd like to some all of it together and display it as seen below. This will show me an overview of all of the users by when they were created and what the current statuses are next to total transactions. I've tried UNION as well as LEFT JOIN but I can't seem to get either to work. Union example is pretty close but doesn't combine the dates into one row.     HI I am looking for some help I just can't seem to get my head how self joins work. I have this sql code select Persno'Name',convert(char(20), A_Date , 13)'Logins',acode from atrail as LOGIN where acode = 'LOGIN' OR acode = 'LOGOUT' order by a_date desc Which produces a list of User names and when the have logged in and out. What I am trying to acheive is to get anther column with the LOGOUT date next to the date they logged in date so that it is easyer to see when they logged in and out. Thanks Andy

Now I create 3 or so pointers that point to different elements in a, you could say a[ 0 ], a[ 4 ] and a[ 13 ]. Now if I overwrite a with b via a=b - Where will the pointers point? Do the pointers still point to their original positions in a but the values they point to are now those of b?

  • AudioTrack lag: obtainBuffer timed out

    I'm playing WAVs on my Android phone by loading the file and feeding the bytes into AudioTrack.write() via the FileInputStream BufferedInputStream DataInputStream method. The audio plays fine and when it is, I can easily adjust sample rate, volume, etc on the fly with nice performance. However, it's taking about two full seconds for a track to start playing. I know AudioTrack has an inescapable delay, but this is ridiculous. Every time I play a track, I get this: 03-13 14:55:57.100: WARN/AudioTrack(3454): obtainBuffer timed out (is the CPU pegged?) 0x2e9348 user=00000960, server=00000000 03-13 14:55:57.340: WARN/AudioFlinger(72): write blocked for 233 msecs, 9 delayed writes, thread 0xba28 I've noticed that the delayed write count increases by one every time I play a track -- even across multiple sessions -- from the time the phone has been turned on. The block time is always 230 - 240ms, which makes sense considering a minimum buffer size of 9600 on this device (9600 / 44100). I've seen this message in countless searches on the Internet, but it usually seems to be related to not playing audio at all or skipping audio. In my case, it's just a delayed start. I'm running all my code in a high priority thread. Here's a truncated-yet-functional version of what I'm doing. This is the thread callback in my playback class.
