• Qt and Bluetooth on Symbian S60

  Hi all, i am working on a mobile application which needs to use bluetooth to send a file to another mobile device. I'm using Qt for symbian. my problem is that Qt doesn't provide ready to use API for bluetooth.Only Qt extended(which runs on embedded linux) has API for bluetooth. Do you have a clue to use bluetooth from Qt on symbian platform? Thanks in advance

  I'm developing a turn-by-turn navigation software for Windows Mobile using C# and .NET CF. I'm able to draw a 2D maps by drawing lines. My problem is I would like to get a 2.5D map like in the picture. I tried non-affine transformation on the 2D rendered image but it is too slow for the Windows Mobile device we are targeting.   I currently have a simple flash Mp3 player on my site which works lovely. The issue is, most cell phones do not support flash and a large portion of my visitors come through via a mobile device. The alternative to this is to replace the flash player with a javascript player. I found a JQuery one but it only works on HTML5 compatible browsers. Does anyone know of a good alternative that would work on mobile devices as well as most desktop web browsers?

  I can browse using the desktop browsers via ..localhost:54647/... and from windows mobile emulators via my gateway ..//192.168.0.199:54647/..., but neither method works from either my Android emulator or from a usb attached itouch. I know I may have to run IIS locally but it's more convenient to run the development server from Visual Studio 2008. I'm running Vista with latest service packs. I'm developing a mobile app using ASP.Net MVC. Thanks!

When I issue the command: $f = file_get_contents("http://mobile.mybustracker.co.uk/mobile.php?searchMode=2"); It returns a page that reports that the server is down. Yet when I paste the same URL into my browser I get the expected page. Does anyone have any idea what's causing this? Does file_get_contents transmit any headers that differentiate it from a browser request?
