  • Set Icon Image problem in Jar file

    The following code works when running the NetBeans IDE. this.getFrame().setIconImage(Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage("PlagiaLyzerIcon.png")); However, once it was built into Jar file, the icon was gone. Anyone has idea what's the problem? I realized I've to put the icon image on the root directory, however, after compiling into JAR, the icon gone. Thanks for any help..

    Hello, My Eclipse RCP application requires a configuration file that contains some information to connect to a remote database. Where is the best location to store this configuration file? Can I use the default configuration directory (where 'config.ini' is usually stored) for this purpose? If so, how can I get a File instance to this location programmatically? I also note that this directory does not exist in my Eclipse IDE. Thanks.

    Right, so if you have to decide on a server-side language for a distributed Linux-based server backend, would you choose: PHP Mono ASP.net Java As a C++ programmer, I'm thinking Java+Tomcat, but I'd love to hear experienced thoughts here, especially relating to debugging and IDE (likely Eclipse).     Hi, I have upgraded my application from grails 1.2.2 to 1.3.1-RC1. While things seem to work when executing grails from command prompt, I cannot make it run from my IDE IntelliJ (last development version). The error I got is: Error executing script RunApp: net/sf/json/JSONException ... Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.sf.json.JSONException It seems that the library json-lib.jar is not in the IntelliJ classpath. Do you know how can I solve this?

  • Does your Visual Studio2008 hang after installing Office 2010?

    Wierd.... Late nite I installed Office 2010 Professional Plus. Here I am, the next morning, and Visual Studio 2008 is freezing, like there "was some invisible dialog window", because it doesn't allow me to click on any IDE element. In brief, after I open a ASP.MVC form, suddenly I'm not allowed to click on anything, icon, dock panel, toolbox, nothing... Anyone has this kind of problem?

    When I run KitchenSink example project on iPhone emulator everything is OK, but trying to launch for Android emulator produces errors: [ERROR] /Users/lukasz/Android/android-sdk-mac_x86/tools/apkbuilder [ERROR] Failed installing com.appcelerator.kitchensink: pkg: /data/local/tmp/app.apk It happens whatever Androig API I choose (from 1.5 to 2.2 or from APIs 1.5 to APIs 2.2). I am using Titanium Developer 1.2.1, titanium SDK 1.4.1.11 Where is the problem? As far as I can see Android SDKs and platforms work correctly because I can successfully compile Android projects from diffrent IDE (Netbeans).

    How do you debug lua code embedded in a c++ application? From what I gather, either I need to buy a special IDE and link in their special lua runtime (ugh). Or I need to build a debug console in to the game engine, using the lua debug API calls. I am leaning toward writing my own debug console, but it seems like a lot of work.     I am writing a web application using ring and clojure. I am using the jetty adapter for the development server and emacs/SLIME for IDE. While wrap-reload does help, run-jetty blocks my slime session and I would like to be able to start/stop it at will without having to run it in a separate terminal session. Ideally, I would like to define a server agent and functions start-server and stop-server that would start/stop the server inside the agent. Is this possible?
