    I am trying to attach to database file (*.mdf, *.ldf) that I placed in the same folder as all my other SQL Server databases. I begin the attach by attempting to browse to the folder which contains the db files as well as all of my active database files. I select "attach Database" and click the "Add" button to add a database to the list of databases to attach to. When I do so, I get this error: TITLE: Locate Database Files - BESI-CHAD ------------------------------ D:\SQLdata\MSSQL10_50.SQLBESI\MSSQL\DATA Cannot access the specified path or file on the server. Verify that you have the necessary security privileges and that the path or file exists. If you know that the service account can access a specific file, type in the full path for the file in the File Name control in the Locate dialog box. ------------------------------ BUTTONS: OK ------------------------------ The path is correct and, as I mentioned, it contains all of my other database files so I wouldn't think that permissions should be an issue, but here is what I see for that folder: Any idea why I cannot browse to that folder and attach to the db files that I have place there?

  • Browse for folder can't see camera device

    In Delphi 2010, I want to allow users to browse and select a folder. The folder is on a device (?) created by a DSLR: The folder is visible in the Windows Explorer as shown above. And, the folder is visible in a TOpenDialog, allowing them to browse into the folder and choose a file. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get either SHBrowseForFolder (code I found on the web but don't understand) or SelectDirectory to see the camera device or folder beneath it. (Side note: IMO, SelectDirectory is a far nicer UI, since the user can see the files in the folders while browsing.) I assume this has to do with the fact that the folder is in a device (?) created by the camera software. I've seen some tricks where you call TOpenDialog to browse for folders with '*.' and then ExtractFileDir on the result, but that's not robust or, IMO, a good UI. What I'm looking for is a "Browse for folder" that can see the same devices (including the camera device) the TOpenDialog & Windows Explorer can see. (Ideally, it would have the nice appearance like the one below!) Any suggestions? Image of a MS-Word's folder browsing in Win7. (I wonder if it looks this pretty in XP.)

    We have just deployed a Windows 2008R2 server in our Windows 2003 domain. XP clinets are unable to browse in "entire network" and find the new server. It can be accessed by entering \\servername and it can be pinged by name and IP address. Users access shares without issue. Netbios over TCP/IP is enabled. Computer browser is running on the Windows 2008R2 system. Turn on Network Discovery is enabled.   • VPN Connected, How to browse files? Windows Vista

    I am trying to establish a VPN connection to a server in my office from my laptop at home. I tried some of the steps as mentioned here: Connect to a network Connect to a workplace Use my Internet Connection (VPN) Then type server IP address and then my username & password. After creating a VPN connection, I can see I am connected to it. Now I want to browse files on the server. But I have no clue where I should look for them. I was thinking more of a simple step, like, Windows Run > Type ip address > \\124.345.678.900, then a prompt asking username and password, and finally a window opens to view the files. I tried to google it, but still unable to view files. Please help. Update: I didn't mention that when I try to connect to server via \\124.345.678.900 I get 0x80070043 error message.

  • How to browse to a webserver which is reachable through the SSH port only

    I have a server at work which is behind a firewall (the company's firewall) so it is reachable only thrugh port 22 (SSH). I'm able to connect to the server with putty without problems. Also, that server has Apache running and listening on port 80 as usual. But I cant connect to the website using my browser since port 80 (and everyone else) is blocked by the company's firewall. Is there a way I can make my browser to connect to Apache in that server so I can browse the site I'm working on? Thanks.

    i've setup apache and php on a virtual machine. everything works fine in the virtual machine. im able to execute php files and run up phpmyadmin connecting to mysql. on my host machine, im able ping and ssh into the remote machines. however, im unable to browse the php files on the host browser using the ip address. in my httpd.conf, im listening to port 80. i enabled the ServerName 192.168.75.102:80 am i missing some settings? port settings maybe?

    Hey Guys, I have been trying to setup my samba shares correctly. The setup i was looking for was having a couple of shares available publicly, guest accounts are ok and can browse these shares all ok. I have this setup correctly. The problem comes when setting up a share that only certain users can view, although i have setup a share that will only allow certain users to access. I havent been able to hide this share from guests. I had a look into the browseable = yes option but this hides it from everyone, including the users that have logged in. Any idea on how to tackle this? The setup i have for this private share is follows: [private] comment = private share for certain users path = /media/drive/private create mask = 0777 directory mask = 0777 writable = yes public = no users = admin

  • Firefox crashes with mulitple Uploadify JQuery browse buttons and ajax

    Hi, I'm using four JQuery Uploadify browse buttons on a page that's calling the Uploadify code/buttons through Ajax. We have a javascript function called from onComplete which refreshes the Ajax page. The problem we're encountering is that when you start uploading one file, if you click browse to upload another file, Firefox will crash when selecting the second file. Any help is appreciated.   • Unable to browse to apache service, Service is running

    Summary I have a very peculiar problem. I am not able to open the "It Works!" page after installing a fresh server with apache. I am able to ssh to the box (from outside the network). Apache seems to be running on my Centos6.4x86_64 box just fine. Nothing useful in /var/logs/httpd/*. What am I missing? The setup I am outside the network right now. The "server" is a VM on my home computer running bridged mode. public ip: A.B.C.D Host: 192.168.1.5 VM: 192.168.1.8 I have a verizon fios router that is forwarding ports 22, 80, and 8888 to the VM. I am able to ssh over port 22, but I am not able to browse to the public URL over port 80. so A.B.C.D:22 is working, but http://A.B.C.D:80 is not. What I've tried nmap to see if it is listening: nmap -sT -O localhost Starting Nmap 5.51 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2013-10-25 11:10 EDT Nmap scan report for localhost (127.0.0.1) Host is up (0.000040s latency). Other addresses for localhost (not scanned): 127.0.0.1 Not shown: 996 closed ports PORT STATE SERVICE 22/tcp open ssh 25/tcp open smtp 80/tcp open http 3306/tcp open mysql I tried going to it locally (lynx) and it does work. So, is the problem in my ports?

    I have set up an openVPN tunnel on my VPS (OpenVZ - Ubuntu 12.04). The problem is when I'm connected to the vpn, I can only browse websites which support ipv6 like google. Ipv4 sites aren't loading (no error, just waiting indefinitely). http://whatismyv6.com/ reports me that I've an ipv6 address, so I guess this is the problem.   • Cannot browse Visual SVN Repositories

    I went through Unable to browse repository after setting visual SVN Server and tried to implement the answer suggested but even the IP address is not solving my problem. I have 1) Turned off firewall 2) Set the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\VisualSVN Server security rights to "full control" for all groups including "Network service" group. 3) Set the directory D:\Repositories security rights to "full control" for most groups including "Network service" group. 4) Tried switching between secure and non-secure connection option in visual svn server manager. 5) Tried different with port numbers. Including 443 (with https) and 80 (http). Also tried giving random ports with/without https. Using computer name/ IP address in the url doesn't help. Windows network diagnostics - Troubleshooting report has following message for me. Security policy settings or firewall settings on this computer might be blocking the connection. = Detected Can someone guide me please? I have spent more than two weeks on this now without any solution. Thanks in advance! I appreciate your responses.

  • Apache and linux file permissions can't browse file or directories

    I just copied my magento site over to a local server running CentOS 5.4. The browser said it can't locate the location of the stylesheets. The stylesheets are within /skin/frontend/my_new_interface/design2/css. I tried to view in the browser and I can't view any of the files within the css directory. I verified a million times that I'm typing in the correct location. I can view files within /skin/frontend/my_new_interface/design2. Can't browse directories within browser however. I typed in ls -l css and get: -rwxr-xr-x 1 apache apache listed for all the files I tried chmod -R 755 and the directories I changed the apache conf Options Indexes But still when I browse the directories I get Forbidden. However, in another fresh installation of magento in the same www dir, I am able to browse directories. As far as I can tell both installations have same ownership and permissions. I also tried find . -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \; find . -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \; which was recommended in the magento wiki I've just run out of ideas.

    Hello, I am trying to do an image uploader, user can: - browse local file with button.browse - select one and save it as a FileReference. - then we do FileReference.load() then bind the data to our image control. - after we make a rotation on it and change the data of image. - and to finish we upload it to a server. To change the data of image i get the matrix of the displayed image and transform it then i re-use the new matrix and bind it to my old image: private function TurnImage():void { //Turn it var m:Matrix = _img.transform.matrix; rotateImage(m); _img.transform.matrix = m; } Now the mater is that i really don't know how to send the data as a file to my server cause its not stored in the FileReference and data inside FileReference is readOnly so we can't change it or create a new, so i can't use .upload();. Then i tried HttpService.send but i can't figure out how you send a file and not a mxml.

I have seen various post on the net proposing solutions that works for some and not for others I have tried reseting winsock but nothing. If I vpn to my work then I can browse.   • How to browse Windows XP from Mac Finder when name disappears from finder

    Occasionally, like right at this moment, I cannot access my windows share from my mac. Normally, it works, but every now and then, the computer name won't be displayed under SHARED in Finder. Rebooting the windows computer usually fixes this, but it's inconvenient. The Windows computer can see the Mac on the network. Is there a method of asking finder to poll for windows shares again, or "forcing" finder to look for "desktop"? I'm looking for the equivalent of \desktop in the address bar of a Windows computer.     I am looking for application which I can install on Ubuntu server and put my photos there. It can be by web interface, it can be by mounted samba disk. What I require: Ability to add tags to photos. Ability to move photos. I.e. if I set photos directory to /home/photos, but then I want to move all photos to e.g. /home/common/photos - I don't want to lose all the tags. I used to use FSpot and it was great, but it lacked point 2, and I lost everything :(
