  • How can I set the main theme-font dynamically, in WordPress

    I have created a theme where I already have a custom options page where I let the user set text for footer, twitter user and some other things and that works well. Now i'd like to add the functionality of letting the user select which font that should be used for content on the site. How can i accomplish this? I can probably create a php file that outputs something like: <style type="text/css"> body{ font-family: <?php echo get_option('my-font');?>; } </style> and include that file in header.php, but that means that I have to hit php for every request for this css and I want to avoid that if posssible.

This is how my Stored Proc returns the result set.     Hi everyone, Does anyone out there use SQL Express 2008 R2 in a production environment? I am looking at hosting a Windows VPS as a server for a client software product I have developed. Clients connect to the server, send their data to a service running on the server, and the service updates the database. I'm trying to keep running costs down, and whilst I have a license for SQL Developer I obviously can't use this in a production environment. Would it be wise/possible to use SQL Express 2008, and if so why/why not? Thanks, JD

  • Nothing displaying for Drupal main menu

    I'm trying to output the main_menu in to a custom theme on the page.tpl.php template however nothing is displaying when I add <?php print theme("links", $main_menu) ?> However when I do a var_dump on the $main_menu I get array(2) { ["menu-218"]=> array(2) { ["href"]=> string(7) "" ["title"]=> string(4) "Home" } ["menu-335"]=> array(2) { ["href"]=> string(6) "node/1" ["title"]=> string(4) "Home" } } What might I be doing wrong? I'm new to Drupal so be kind please :D

  • Trying to write priority queue in Java but getting "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ClassCastEx

    For my data structure class, I am trying to write a program that simulates a car wash and I want to give fancy cars a higher priority than regular ones using a priority queue. The problem I am having has something to do with Java not being able to type cast "Object" as an "ArrayQueue" (a simple FIFO implementation).     I'm transferring my access logs into a database. I've got two tables: urlRequests id : int(10) host : varchar(100) path: varchar(300) unique index (host, path) urlAccesses id : int(10) request : int(10) <-- reference to urlRequests row ip : int(4) query : varchar(300) time : timestamp I need to insert a row into urlAccesses for every page load, but first a row in urlRequests has to exist with the requested host and path so that urlAccesses's row can reference it. I know I can do it this way: A. check if a row exists in urlRequests B. insert a row in urlRequests if it needs it C. insert a row into urlAccesses with the urlRequests's row id referenced That's three queries for every page load if the urlRequests row doesn't exist. I'm very new to MySQL, so I'm guessing that there's a way to go about this that would be faster and use less queries.

    I need to target the starting tag of the last top level LI in a list that may or may-not contain sublists in various positions - without using CSS or Javascript. Is there a simple/elegant regexp that can help with this? I'm no guru w/ them, but it appears the need for greedy/non-greedy selectors when I'm selecting all the middle text (.*) / (.+) changes as nested lists are added and moved around in the list - and this is throwing me off. $pattern = '/^(<ul>.*)<li>(.+<\/li><\/ul>)$/'; $replacement = '$1<li id="lastLi">$3'; Perhaps there is an easier approach?? converting to XML to target the LI and then convert back? ie: Single Element <ul> <li>TARGET</li> </ul> Multiple Elements <ul> <li>foo</li> <li>TARGET</li> </ul> Nested Lists before end <ul> <li> foo <ul> <li>bar</li> </ul> <li> <li>TARGET</li> </ul> Nested List at end <ul> <li>foo</li> <li> TARGET <ul> <li>bar</li> </ul> </li> </ul>

    I have a website, available through multiple domainnames. like www.domain1.com .... www.domain5.com All my customers have their own subdomain. like: customer1.domain1.com customer2.domain1.com .... customer351.domain4.com Currently i dont use SSL, each customer log in their own account via their sub domain. I want to change this, and make all customers log in on a central log in page, that would use SSL, for example. https://login.domain1.com And somehow redirect each user to the correct sub domain adress. (Sub domain that don't use SSL) How do I do this, and maintain security? One idea i had: Login - add random value somewhere in the database, Redirect to subdomain, with querystring the randomvalue. And after that the session takes care of it, Each value can be used once only.. But how secure is that? I guess someone would ask the question "why?" to me. Because SSL costs money. And unfortunately i dont have a lot of it. :D Thanks for your time!

    I have two web applications (A) and (B). (A) is my primary web application. (B) is purely for content storage, such as file uploads by users of (A). What's best way to securely retrieve data from (B) into (A) but in a way that does not expose the data in (B) to potential discovery by third-parties over the public internet or nosy users of (A)? For example, if I use a HTML form POST from (A) to (B) to retrieve user data, and have a hidden form field called user_id=1, then someone could simply change this to user_id=2 and see the content owned by another user of the application. That would be a problem.

  • What is the main purpose of WebExceptionStatus.Success?

    I am a bit confused about the purpose of the enum value Success of the WebExceptionStatus enumeration. I did a search and did not find this enumeration being used outside the WebException class. This is very confusing to me. Why would an exception be used to indicate a successful action/state. Am I missing something, or did I not search thouroughly enough? Was it introduced for future functionality? Please if anyone does know its basic purpose I would be thankfull if s/he shares with us the explanation.

  • URL Rewriting from a subdomain to main domain!

    Hello. I am developing a pretty large website for a client, and its about 90% complete. It is currently hosted on a subdomain like so: now: v2.websitehere.com when complete: www.websitehere.com My problem is that SO much of this site is linked to the temporary subdomain. The newsletter service, multiple google apis, etc. I also have multiple blogs installed that would be hard to move over. Literally, I have over 20 blogs hosted on the subdomain. I also have other PHP scripts that utilize SQL databases. So, what I am getting at is that a migration would be very difficult: time consuming, frustrating, and not something I want to do. I am looking for a a good solution...similar to Wordpress's URL rewriting. Is there something I can do with .htaccess file? Any ideas would be MUCH appreciated.

The problem I have is that I cannot get form1 to show after form2 closes.     I'm trying to work on my new website Drupal7 while I'm keeping in the hosting my old static website. So I have: index.html (static website. I want to keep for my users) index.php (drupal new installation) Is there a way to set in drupal this kind of situation? The problem, as you problably can see at this point, is that every time I'm going to a different section I'm being redirected to the .html homepage. I mean for example the admin section is: www.mydomain.com/?q=admin instead of www.mydomain.com/index.php?q=admin What's the easiest way to keep the html static web for my current users while I'm developing my drupal7 website in the "background"?

    I'm using c++ Qt library and I want to do something which would do : connect(actionB11, SIGNAL(triggered()), this, SLOT(SetSomething(1, 1))); connect(actionB12, SIGNAL(triggered()), this, SLOT(SetSomething(1, 2))); connect(actionB21, SIGNAL(triggered()), this, SLOT(SetSomething(2, 1))); connect(actionB22, SIGNAL(triggered()), this, SLOT(SetSomething(2, 2))); The code above doesnt work because SIGNAL function has to have same number and argument types as SLOT function. Does exist a way how to do it? I dont want to have about 20 function as SetSomething11, SetSomething12 calling SetSomething(1, 1) etc.
