  • iPhone dev question: "No provisioned iPhone OS is connected" error, I don't know what else to try fo

    Howdy, I am trying to compile and install my first application onto my iPhone after setting up a profile and certificate. At this point I am getting the "No provisioned iPhone OS is connected" error when I Build & Go. I am using iPhone OS 3.1.3, and Xcode 3.2.2 on 10.6.3. • I have verified that my iPhone is connected to my development machine (it is seen on the computer by both iTunes and Xcode Organizer (in Organizer, it has the green dot next to it)). • I have rebooted the iPhone and restarted Xcode multiple times. • I have verified that the Bundle Identifier in my appname.plist is set to com.. (with the appropriate values between the angle brackets). I have looked the error message up on the web, and so far have not found a hint that has gotten me over the hump....     The subject line says it all. I'd also like to do this using pipes. I figured that I could use Get-ChildItem, Measure-Object and Where-Object, but Measure-Object doesn't like dates. Should I have a script block which loops through each item returned from Get-ChildItem and does a comparison to see if it's the most recent? I thought that there should be a handy PS cmdlet for that.

    If I try to access this system variable from the Run... dialog, Windows tells me the directory doesn't exist. Some system variables, like %SYSTEMROOT% and %USERPROFILE%, do work. Consequently, if I try to use a supposedly nonexistent variable like %DEFAULTUSERPROFILE% or %PROFILESFOLDER% in C#, I get nothing in return. Is there something special I need to do to get access to these variables?

  • Python in command line runs the wrong version?

    I have several versions of Python installed on a Windows 7 computer. I want to run Python 2.7 by default, but for whatever reason, typing python in the command line runs Python version 2.4.5. I've tried adding C:\Python27 to my system path variable as per this question, and manually combed my path variable it to make sure Python 2.4.5 wasn't tossed in there by mistake, but that didn't fix the issue. I have to type in C:\Python27\python.exe every time I want to access the correct version of python I want. What other places can I check? How can I make the command line use the correct version of python? I also found this but it's not for windows.   • How do I write x86 Debug registers from user space on OSX?

    I'd like to play around with the debug MSRs defined in the x86 spec (DR0-7) from my OSX user-space program. Unfortunately, these require CPL == 0 (aka ring 0). I've thumbed through the OSX syscalls and with the exception of kernel_debug nothing really jumps out as a way to access these. It may be the case that they are only available via some higher level interface like kernel_debug, but it's unclear to me if that's the case or if I just haven't found the magic invocation to get to them. Anyone know how to do this?

    There are a lot of different versions of Windows, but you probably didn’t know that short of the Enterprise edition, the disc or image that you own contains all versions for that architecture. Read on to see how we can use them to make a universal Windows 8 install disc. Things You Will Need A x86 Version of Windows 8 A x64 Version of Windows 8 A x86 Version of Windows 8 Enterprise A x64 Version of Windows 8 Enterprise A Windows 8 PC Note: While we will use all the images above you don’t really need the Enterprise Edition. You could always leave out parts of the tutorial if you know what you are doing, if you are not comfortable with that and still want to follow through you could always grab the Enterprise evaluation images that are available for free to the public, on MSDN. Getting Started To get started you will need to Download the Windows 8 ADK from Microsoft. Once downloaded go ahead and install it, you will only need the Deployment tools so be sure to uncheck the rest of the options. Lastly you will also need to create the following folder structure on the root of your C:\ drive to make things a bit easier. C:\Windows8Root C:\Windows8Root\x86 C:\Windows8Root\x64 C:\Windows8Root\Enterprisex86 C:\Windows8Root\Enterprisex64 C:\Windows8Root\Temp C:\Windows8Root\Final OK lets get started. Making The Image The first thing we need to do is create a base image, so mount the x86 version of Windows 8 and copy its files to: C:\Windows8Root\Final Now move the install.wim file from: C:\Windows8Root\Final\sources To: C:\Windows8Root\x86 Next go ahead and copy the install.wim file from the other 3 images, Windows 8 x64, Windows 8 Enterprise x86 and Windows 8 Enterprise x64 to the respective folders in Windows8Root, the install.wim file can be located at: D:\sources\install.wim Note: The above assumes that the images are always mounted at drive D. Remember that each install.wim is different so don’t copy them to the wrong directories or the rest of the tutorial wont work. Next switch to the Metro Start Screen and open the Deployment and Imaging Tools Environment. Note: If you are not a local administrator on your PC, you will need to right-click on it and choose to run it as an administrator. If you have any idea why this is happening and how I could get the package on the system while remaining on PHP 5.3, please let me know. Thanks.

SSLCertificateFile "SSLCertificateFile "C:/Program Files (x86)/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/conf/cert.pem SSLCertificateKeyFile "SSLCertificateFile "C:/Program Files (x86)/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/conf/key.pem" Then I restart apache (going to start-All Progranms-Apache Server 2.2-Control-restart) and go to localhost on port 443 in Firefox , where I get: Index of / Index of / Links/ ..... .... But on Display of WebPage I see: Unable to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost. *The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. *If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network onnection. *If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. I read: Why am I getting 403 Forbidden after enabling HTTPS for Apache on Mac OS X? and added default web server configuration block to match my DocumentRoot The error Log C:\Program Files (x86)\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\logs\error.log gives following error: The Apache2.2 service is running. (OS 5)Access is denied. : Init: Can't open server certificate file C:/Program Files (x86)/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/conf/cert.pem I checked the permissions for cert.pem and it indicates: All the permissions (Full control, Read, Read and modify, execute, Write) are marked for Admin and I am currently logged in as Admin. I tried using oldcert.pem and oldkey.pem on the same server and it works fine. Is there anything that I missed?
