Issue with post data not received in a php page

hi, I created a page in Wordpress (http://www.exam-vision.com/testmail) that sends POST data to itself in order to send an email. The code is shown below. While it seems that data are sent properly, it seems that they are not received since isset($_REQUEST['email']) is always false. Anybody could help? I have a problem with a AE1200 Cisco/Linksys Wireless-N USB adapter having stopped working after I ran the update manager in Ubuntu 12.04

Here is the problem, I use a Cisco/Linksys AE1200 wireless network adapter to connect my desktop to a public wifi internet connection. I use ndiswrapper to use the windows driver and it had been working fine for me untill I ran the update manager overnight a few days ago. HttpClient POST fails to submit the form

Hi, I'm writing an app to check for the bus timetable's. Therefor I need to post some data to a html page, submit it, and parse the resulting page with htmlparser. I also find it confusing, for example, that when I enter the data by hand, the url says, for example, "....HTO=Kaiserplatz&...", but in Firebug, the same Kaiserplatz is connected to a different field, in this case: \<\td class="Start3" Kaiserplatz <\/td (I inserted \ to make it visible) The last line in my code prints the html page, but without having send a request.. it's printed as if there was no input at all... 12.10 update-manager is behaving strange?

First I tried to update Kernel ( with 3.5.0-18 of your choice ) with update-manager. But update-manager crashed each time after 3 attempts when I typed my password ? Then I tried to update with terminal and apt-get as usual way. There then seems to be no update-files with a sudden after a pause --- Yes update-manager behaved strange, but it seems, that update-manager made a QUIET update ? There was nothing to see . . . I restarted my machine and new kernel is installed then.

iphone sqlite3 UPDATE with LIMIT and OFFSET clause

Does anyone know if the LIMIT and OFFSET clause work when using the UPDATE statement on iphone. on the sqlite3 website it says "if SQLite is built with the SQLITE_ENABLE_UPDATE_DELETE_LIMIT compile-time option then the syntax of the UPDATE statement is extended with optional ORDER BY and LIMIT clauses.." if not, can it be enabled? I'm using "UPDATE TESTDATA SET VAR = 1 LIMIT 1 OFFSET 1" but i get an error: near "LIMIT": syntax error I can get LIMIT and OFFSET clause to work on a SELECT statement. Are there any other ways around this?

Also, the user profile information will be periodically updated to the list , therefore i think i should use a timer job to update the information. Importing for the first time works without any issues. But can you suggest what can be the best way to update information. The update should take care of updating existing records in profile , mark as orphaned for the records that are deleted from user profile and add new records in user profile to the list. Thanks

How to execute an update via SQLQuery in Hibernate

Hi, I need to update a joined sub-class. Since Hibernate doesn't allow to update joined sub-classes in hql or named-query I want to do it via SQL. I also can't use a sql named-query because updates via named-query are not supported in Hibernate. So I decided to use a SQLQuery. But Hibernate complaints about not calling addScalar(). Are updates returning the number of rows affected and how is named that column? Are there any other ways to do an update on a joined sub-class in hibernate? Thanks in advance!

MySQL/SQL: Update with correlated subquery from the updated table itself

I have a generic question that I will try to explain using an example. Say I have a table with the fields: "id", "name", "category", "appearances" and "ratio" The idea is that I have several items, each related to a single category and "appears" several times. The ratio field should include the percentage of each item's appearances out of the total number of appearances of items in the category. In pseudo-code what I need is the following: For each category find the total sum of appearances for items related to it. For example it can be done with (select sum("appearances") from table group by category) For each item set the ratio value as the item's appearances divided by the sum found for the category above Now I'm trying to achieve this with a single update query, but can't seem to do it. What I thought I should do is: update Table T set T.ratio = T.appearances / ( select sum(S.appearances) from Table S where S.id = T.id ) But MySQL does not accept the alias T in the update column, and I did not find other ways of achieving this. Any ideas?

I've got to update a column in one SQL table with a counter stored in another table, and update that

I'm using SQL server 2005 (for testing) & 2007 (for production). I have to add a unique record ID to all the records in my table, in an existing column, using a "last record ID" column from another table. So, I'm going to do some sort of UPDATE of my table, but I have to get the "last record ID" from the other table, increment it, update THAT table and then update my record. Can anyone give me an example of how to do this? Other users may be incrementing the counter also.

I've been reading all the questions on here but I still don't get it I have two identical tables of considerable size. I would like to update table packages_sorted with data from packages_sorted_temp without destroying the existing data on packages_sorted Table packages_sorted_temp contains data on only 2 columns db_id and quality_rank Table packages_sorted contains data on all 35 columns but quality_rank is 0 The primary key on each table is db_id and this is what I want to trigger the ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE with. I have a PHP script on my server that I want to run every time I post a new tweet to Twitter. Is there a way to automate this? I could of course set up a cron job to run the script every five minutes, or run the script manually every time after tweeting, but neither of those is instant — and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. Is it possible to use the Twitter API to run a script / get a URL every time my timeline is updated?
