    Hi; I have n documents and want to find common words that are included in these documents. For example I want to say (n-3) documents include the word "web". Certainly I can do this by basic data structures but there maybe efficient algorithm or a way to handle same words with different suffix. Is there any algorithm for such purposes? I am unfamiliar with datamining world. In general manner is there a term used for efforts of finding similarities between different documents? If there is then I will make my research easily.     Calling toString() on the function below returns different strings across browsers. I understand this is because ECMA-262 15.3.4.2 leaves wiggle room for each vendor. Chrome returns the comments in addition to all syntax. Sadly Firefox 3.6 omits the comments. Based on Firefox's behavior I haven't tested IE, Opera, or Safari. function foo() { /* comment */ var bar = true; } Specifically, I am attempting to embed meta data within a specially formatted comment block within a function. Later the return value of the functions toString() method would be parsed and values returned as an object. I've been unable to locate compatibility tables or alternatives to toString(). Does the community have any ideas? Btw, pre-processing JS files isn't an option. :( Thanks a lot. :)

    Hello, I have two tables in a SQL Server 2008 database in my company. The first table represents the products that my company sells. The second table contains the product manufacturer’s details. These tables are defined as follows: Product ------- ID Name ManufacturerID Description Manufacturer ------------ ID Name As you can imagine, I want to make this as easy as possible for our customers to query this data. However, I’m having problems writing a forgiving, yet powerful search query. For instance, I’m anticipating people to search based on phonetical spellings. Because of this, the data may not match the exact data in my database. In addition, I think some individuals will search by manufacturer’s name first, but I want the matching product names to appear first. Based on these requirements, I’m currently working on the following query: select p.Name as 'ProductName', m.Name as 'Manufacturer', r.Rank as 'Rank' from Product p inner join Manufacturer m on p.ManufacturerID=m.ID inner join CONTAINSTABLE(Product, Name, @searchQuery) as r Oddly, this query is throwing an error. However, I have no idea why. Squiggles appear to the right of the last parenthesis in management studio. The tool tip says "An expression of non-boolean type specified in a context where a condition is expected". I understand what this statement means. However, I guess I do not know how COntainsTable works. What am I doing wrong? Thank you

    I have a strange problem I've come across. My app can write a simple textfile to SD card and sometimes it works for some people but not for others and I have no idea why. Some people it force closes if they put some characters like "..." in it and such. I cannot seem to reproduce it as I've had no troubles but this is the code that handles it.     Sorry if this question is mind numbingly easy to answer, but I'm a bit new to JQuery and I have a tight deadline. I am looking for a selector for textbox elements that have this format: id = "FixedName_#" "FixedName" will always be "FixedName", but I only want to find elements where the # is positive. So I would want to find "FixedName_1", and "FixedName_2" for example, but skip over "FixedName_-1" and "FixedName_-2". Thanks!

    I've found numerous posts on stackoverflow on how to store user passwords. However, I need to know what is the best way to store a password that my application needs to communicate with another application via the web? Currently, our web app needs to transmit data to a remote website. To upload the data, our web app reads the password from a text file and creates the header with payloads and submits via https. This password in plain text on the file system is the issue. Is there any way to store the password more securely? Thanks!

    Hi, I am using an external asp page (On the company's server - not related to me beside the fact that I'm using it for my job). The asp page has one query in it, I'm writing something in it and it gives me some information. In the information there is a certain line with constant header (let's assume 'HEADER'), I want to build an HTA that pulls the line that contains 'HEADER' to my HTA and display only this line.     Remarks Before I ask, let me focus on words: the length of "i" is 1 the length of "w" is 1 the render width of "w" is greater than "i" (except for monospace font) -- I am interested in this and from now on, I would simply write "width" The problem (small picture) Let's say I have incredible long text set for TextBlock widget which width is 100. And the text does not fit (the text is clipped -- i.e. only small portion of text is visible). The question is -- what is the width of the entire text (visible + not visible parts)? The background (big picture) I have a window width DataGrid (WPF standard) as main widget which contains text. I try to resize window and DataGrid in such way, that all texts will be visible without need of resizing and/or scrolling. I focus on width. The size of the window vs. size of the screen is not an issue, the text is so short that it would fit even on netbook screen.
