    Whenever I put my component into COM+ and call CoCreateInstance() on the client the following happens: the runtime instantiates the objecs (calls IClassFactory::CreateInstance()) the runtime calls QueryInterface() for the interface specified in teh CoCreateInstance() call the runtime calls QueryInterface() for IdentityUnmarshal interface ({0000001b-0000-0000-c000-000000000046}) The only thing I can find is the declaration in comdef.h that there exists IdentityUnmarshal interface with that interface id. Is there any more information on it?

I tried making my own notebook type widget and it worked well, but it would have required lots more work to make it as flexible as I would like, also it wasn't as efficient.     I think I should use <!DOCTYPE html> for my new GWT application; I understand that doing so will put my application into standards-compliant mode. Am I correct? Are there any disadvantages to using this doctype? Does GWT work properly in standards-compliant mode? I'm wary because the GWT tutorial still uses the HTML 4.01 transitional doctype.

    Hi, My Requirement is to show two sub reports in a Report. What I am doing is, I have created two sub-reports and put that into a report. But the issue is that, both the sub reports are growing (i.e. their height is not static as the number of records are variable). I tried overriding layoutSubviews to put refresh control to the left, but it wouldn't track scrolling progress this way. Can I trick it into working with horizontal layouts?

    I'm creating a VS2005 setup and deployment installer and I need to create some folders in the D: drive since the customer has a partitioned their hard-drive. I've created some folders in the filesystem view and hard-coded the 'DefaultLocation' parameter to point to the D: drive. Now my question is, is it possible to put a 'Condition' parameter that will check to see if the D: drive on the system that the software is being installed is (or is not) a CD-Drive. Thanks

  • iphone UITextField remembering user's previous input???

    Is there a way to remember what the user put into a UITextField and have it displayed the next time they come to that UITextField? i.e. - have them input their name the first time they come to the "Name" UITextField but have that name already displayed in that field the next time they come across that UITextField? I want the name to still be editable if they come back to the UITextField, but inputted nonetheless in case they don't need to change it the second time around.
