  Im trying to make a program that captures a video from the webcam and sound from the microphone but im getting stuck at the part where ive try to make a movie out of still images ive heard you need to use directshow but it doesnt jet work for me Does someone know a good piece of example code that captures video and sound and can encode it to a file (divx or something like that) ? or some suggestions where to look so i can build it myself (if a other programming language is better for this im happy to know it early. )

However, i'm dealing with the issue of creating and maintaining users and role membership. I know that I can roll my own solution but I'm wondering if there is an alternative solution?   Hi everyone. I'm trying to configure some WCF stuff. Currently, I have a server which allows remote users to download files, and client. In the server, I use a ServiceHost class. I assume it should be running on a separate thread, however, the server UI (WinForms) becomes locked when someone downloads a file. Is there a way to manage the WCF threading model? Thank you!

  Is it possible to log CREATE / ALTER statements issued on a MySQL server through phpMyAdmin? I heard that it could be done with a trigger, but I can't seem to find suitable code anywhere. I would like to log these statements to a table, preferably with the timestamp of when they were issued. Can someone provide me with a sample trigger that would enable me to accomplish this? I would like to log these statements so I can easily synchronize the changes with another MySQL server.

  Can anyone provide an algorithm to validate a Singaporean FIN? I know with a Singaporean NRIC I can validate it via modulo 11 and then compare the result to a lookup table but cannot find a similar lookup table for the FIN. I also do not know for sure if the modulo 11 is the correct method to validate. I am aware the government sells a algorithm for $400 but maybe someone knows a cheaper way. Bonus points for c# implementation.
