• Button INPUT that save datas and link at the same time

  Im doing a questionare (form) and i need to put a button submit that do two things : 1) Be a button type INPUT ( because I need to use this kind of button on my php code, I've if(@$_POST['Next']) for save the dates of the form in my DB). 2) That this button will have a link for go to the next screen of the questionare. I tried with a href="demo2.html" target="_blank"><input class="buttonNext" name="submit" type="submit" value="NEXT &#8592" ></a This code don't works but with IE browser on the page page appears a circle next to my button that are the link. So the button don't works, only save the data, but don't link to the next page. How can I solve it ?

Is there an fairly simple way to search and collect all those "foo"s that're preceded by @Name? In other words, I'd like to write a method that would return a Set<Foo> containing these. Thanks!!!

• How do you pass self to class_eval in ruby?

  I'm working on a metaprogramming task, where I'm trying to use a single method to define a polymorphic association in the calling class, while also defining the association in the target class. I need to pass in the name of the calling class to get the association right. • Numeric GUI bottleneck

  Hi all, I've made a GUI to set up and start a numerical integrator using PyQT4, Wing, QT, and Python 2.6.6, on my Mac. The thing is, when I run the integrator form the GUI, it takes very many times longer than when I crudely run the integrator from the command line. As an example, a 1000 year integration took 98 seconds on the command line and ~570 seconds from the GUI. In the GUI, the integration runs from a thread and then returns. It uses a a queue to communicate back to the GUI. Does anyone have any ideas as to where the bottleneck is? • Do Portable Class Libraries work with .net 3.5?

  I am running Windows 8 and have both Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate w/sp1 and Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate and I am trying to create a Portable Class Library that supports .net 3.5 and greater. When I first try to create a PCL I get a screen like this: I noticed that .net 3.5 is not in the list so I clicked on "Install additional frameworks" and found a Targeting Pack for version 3.5. But when I download and run "dotnetfx35setup.exe" nothing happens. And when I go back into VS and try to create a new Portable Class Library, it lists the same target frameworks as before. I have also turned on the Windows Features for .NET Framework 3.5 and am now out of ideas. Here is a screen shot in case I missed something else. Thanks,

  Hi there, I've created an iPad game using the Universal App Xcode template. Since I'm in late with the iPhone/iPod Touch branch of the app, I've decided to submit the app only for iPad and to update the app to universal in a second time. Question: Do I have to create a new iPad project and copy there all the code and stuff, or can I simply change the deployment target to iPad only and I'm done? I simply want to be accepted and to avoid iPhone users to be allowed to download the game erroneously. Thank you!

  I'm trying to launch my client. Server already runned on the same computer. So I'm using "localhost" with GetHostEntry: IPHostEntry ipHostInfo = System.Net.Dns.GetHostEntry("localhost"); IPAddress ipAddress = ipHostInfo.AddressList[0]; IPEndPoint remoteEP = new IPEndPoint(ipAddress, Port); But I have this "no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it" error. What is the reason? Could it be because ipHostInfo.AddressList[0] is an IPv6? How then I can accept Ipv4 address?

I tried also like described in this article to set the browser.link.open_newwindow and browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction preferences but that doesn't bringt anything. And I tried it with all Target attributes which came in my mind. So I'm grateful for any hints, tips what ever this is driving me crazy...

• Enable vertical scrolling on textarea

  I have a textarea that I want to enable vertical scrolling. When I exceed the height of the textarea, it increases in size. The scroll bar does not appear. I want that a vertical scroll bar appears and the users are not able to resize the text area as well. I searched online and tried solutions posted, but none seem to work.   I hope someone understands what happens to my NSMutableArray. I read records a, b, c, d from a database, load the fields into an object an add the object to an array. • How to list library dependencies of a non-native binary?

  When developing for native platform, I can use ldd to list all the shared libraries (.so files) a binary executable I build will try to load upon start-up. But when cross-compiling, I don't know how to get the same information. The ldd is not a normal binutils utility, like strip or ar, that can be built alongside gcc for cross compiling, but instead, it is a cryptic shell script that apparently can only run on native platform. So, using the cross-target binutils tools, is there any way to get a list of the dynamically linked dependency for of a foreign binary?

  I'm a beginner in Flex so there must be more elegant way of doing this. //move effect private var m:Move = new Move(); //this function creates labels with some text and starts move effect on them public function moveText(i:int):void { var myLabel:Label = new Label(); myLabel.text = "some text"; m.target = myLabel; ... m.play(); } Method moveText is called in a loop so I guess that labels don't get "garbage collected". What I want to do is to remove Labels created in moveText method after play animation ends. Another way of doing this is maybe creating some kind of "pool" of labels which I would use to move arround text. I don't know how would I return labels in to "pool". The question is how to do something after effect animation ends?

• Software buttons in the android 4.2 emulator not showing up (tablet)

  I'm getting crazy right now. I just installed the latest android adt bundle from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html. It's version v21.0.0. Now I wanted to test my tablet app (designed for 10.1" xlarge mdpi) in the emulator, but I cannot get any software buttons for home/back/... Here's my device configuration. This config is afterwards assigned to the avd. http://i.stack.imgur.com/Q7xvP.png Hardware-buttons don't work as well (you cannot set hardware buttons in a tablet-like emulator). The target api is level 15 (android 4.0.3). I searched stackoverflow, but didn't find any help concerning the latest version of android.   hi, I've some objects on the canvas, and I added eventListeners to these objects for MOUSE_UP event. I'm know checking if it works by tracing e.target.name, and I found out that the event is triggered twice, before on the element container (Canvas) and then the element itself. • HTML5 drag & drop: The dragged element content is missing in Webkit browsers.

  I'm trying to implement something similar to a cart where you can drop items from a list. This items (<li> elements) has some elements inside (divs, span, and that stuff). The drag and drop itself works great. But the dragged element's image doesn't show its content in Webkit browsers. My list element has a border an a background color. In Firefox, the image is the whole item. In Webkit browsers, only the dragged element without content. I see the background and border, but without text inside.
