    hi- i'm following the instructions on how to build a custom search provider for windows federated search: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd742956(v=VS.85) i'm returning local results of the form: File://C:\Users\user\file.txt however, when i perform a search, i get results that say: "This item was blocked because of your Internet security settings". how can i change my security settings so that federated search will allow my customer search provider to return local filesystem results? thanks.

  • DocumentFragment not appending in IE

    I have a select list which, when changed, pulls data via ajax and dynamically creates select lists. Then based on the data used to create the select lists (a type), I pull more data via ajax if i don't have it already and create the options for the select list and store them in a fragment. Then I append that fragment to the select list. This is zippy in FF3 and Chrome but either doesn't append the options at all or takes a long time (minutes) to append the options in IE7. On the other hand maximizing a business application’s "style" can tax time and financial resources.     linq to sql visual studio Object-Relational designer generates C# entity class names same as the table names (except pluralizing it). so if the table name is authors it generates entity class with name "author". If the table name is Customers it generates class with name "Customer". Is there any option that can be set to make the designer generate entity class names as pascal cased. I am using VS 2010 if that makes any difference. Thanks.

  • jquery ui autocomplete does't close options menu if there is no focus when ajax returns

    I'm using jquery ui autocomplete widget with ajax, and on noticed the following problem. Background: In order for the user to be able to focus on the autocomplete and get the options without typing anything, I use the focus event: autoComp.focus(function() { $(this).autocomplete("search", "");} However this produces the following effect: when the user clicks, an ajax request is being sent. While waiting for the response, the user then clicks elsewhere and the autocomplete is blurred. But as soon as the response returns, the options menu pops out, even though the autocomplete has no focus. In order to make it go away the user has to click once inside, and again outside the autocomplete, which is a bit annoying. any ideas how I prevent this? EDIT: I solved this in a very ugly way by building another mediator function that knows the element's ID, and this function calls the ajax function with the ID, which on success check the focus of the element, and returns null if it's not focused. It's pretty ugly and I'm still looking for alternatives. EDIT#2: Tried to do as Wlliam suggested, still doesn't work.. the xhr is undefined when blurring. I have a console application which detects the new build, and then copies the built MSI's to a local folder, and deploys all of my components to a test server. After that, I have a bunch of tests in NUnit dll's that I run by executing "nunit-console.exe" using Process/ProcessStartInfo. My question is, how can programatically I get the numbers for Total Success/Failed tests?
