My question is, if I am using Asynchronous Processing=true with SQL Server authentication mode (not Windows authentication mode, i.e. using sa account and password in connection string in web.config), I am wondering whether Asynchronous Processing=true will impact performance of my web application (or depends on my ADO.Net code implementation pattern/scenario)? I started wondering if it is even possible to get netTcpBinding working when debbuging through VS10. I'm hosting my service in a svc-file since I'm planning on hosting it in the IIS (7).

    I'm having trouble figuring out how to get a named pipe WCF service to work. The service is in a seperate assembly from the executable. Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong here?

  • help setting up wsHttpBinding WCF service on .net

    I'm trying to host a WCF service with wsHttpBinding. I created a certificate using makecert and put some lines in web.config. This is the error that I'm getting: System.ArgumentException: The certificate 'CN=WCfServer' must have a private key that is capable of key exchange. The process must have access rights for the private key. On googling up it seems to be some issue with access rights on the certificate file. I used cacls to give read permission to NETWORK SERVICE and also my username but it didn't change anything. I also went to security settings in the properties of the certificate file and gave full control to NETWORK SERVICE and my username. Again to no avail. Can you guide me as to what the problem is and what exactly I need to do? I'm really flaky with these certificate things.     When running my gwt program in GWT Development Mode it fails to display showing this error in the console: com.google.gwt.core.client.JavaScriptException: (TypeError): '$wnd.isc.Browser' is null or not an object I do not believe the error is due to my project setup. Other member of the team can compile fine. It is most likely some type of config problem on my end. I have re-checked out the project and still get the error. I am using the latest jdk 1.6.0_19 if that matters

I want to use L2E since it s very convenient to my company's apps, I created a demo project, the demo does run on every machine but when I, lets say, press a button that has some code that uses the entity I get this error: specified store provider cannot be found in the configuration, or is not valid. note that I get this error only on machines that does not have VS2008 installed, on these machines (the ones with VS2008) the demo works well. any advice is appreciated. I am using MySql server with Mysql Conector 6.3 and the model is created with ADO.Net entitiy model.     I;m trying to get WCF Silverlight faults working as per this : MSDN aricle After adding the SL fault to my Web.config file I get the following warning: The element 'behavior' has invalid child element 'silverlightFaults'. List of possible elements expected: 'serviceAuthorization, serviceCredentials, serviceMetadata, serviceSecurityAudit, serviceThrottling, dataContractSerializer, serviceDebug, serviceTimeouts, persistenceProvider, workflowRuntime'. Ignoring the warning doesn't work and my Silverlight application cannot add the WCF service. Any ideas?

    The command cabal haddock has very useful --hyperlink-source option. I would like to have the source hyperlinked when building documentation with cabal install. The ticket #517 seems to be just about it: http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/hackage/ticket/517 However, perhaps it is possible to set this flag via ~/.cabal/config file? If not, how can I get working cabal-install build with the patch from #517 without installing Cabal-0.9, which is currently mandatory (due to one patch from December)?

    The command cabal haddock has very useful --hyperlink-source option. I would like to have the source hyperlinked when building documentation with cabal install. The ticket #517 seems to be just about it: http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/hackage/ticket/517 However, perhaps it is possible to set this flag via ~/.cabal/config file? If not, how can I get working cabal-install build with the patch from #517 without installing Cabal-0.9, which is currently mandatory (due to one patch from December)?

  • Cisco SR520w FE - WAN Port Stops Working

    I have setup a Cisco SR520W and everything appears to be working. After about 1-2 days, it looks like the WAN port stops forwarding traffic to the Internet gateway IP of the device. If I unplug and then plug in the network cable connecting the WAN port of the SR520W to my Comcast Cable Modem, traffic startings flowing again. Also, if I restart the SR520W, the traffic will flow again. Any ideas?
