  I have this bit of code: typedef CComQIPtr<MSXML::IXMLDOMDocument2> XML_DocumentPtr; then inside some class: XML_DocumentPtr m_spDoc; then inside some function: XML_NodePtr rn=m_spDoc->GetdocumentElement(); I cannot find anywhere in the MSDN documentation what that GetDocumentElement() is supposed to do? Can anyone tell me why it doesn't seem to be part of IXMLDOMDocument2 interface? And which interface does have it?

  I want to get the current time of my system. For that i'm using the following code in C. time_t now; struct tm *mytime = localtime(&now); if ( strftime(buffer, sizeof buffer, "%X", mytime) ) { printf("time1 = \"%s\"\n", buffer); } But the problem of this code is that its giving some random time.Also the random time is different all the time.I want the current time of my system.   When indenting java code with annotations, vim insists on indenting like this: @Test public void ... I want the annotation to be in the same column as the method definition but I can't seem to find a way to tell vim to do that, except maybe using an indent expression but I'm not sure if I can use that together with regular cindent. edit: The filetype plugin was already turned on I just got a bit confused about indenting plugins. The accepted answer may be a bit hackish but works for me as well.

I am wondering whether I can tell SQL Server not to store this one stored procedure in the pool as it doesn't matter too much whether it executes quickly. Perhaps there is an equivalent of (nolock) for (nobuffer) or similar? Any ideas?

  I have a sgen step in my .NET 3.5 library, producing a correct XYZ.XmlSerializers.dll in the output directory. Still having poor serialization performance, I discovered that .NET was still invoking a csc at runtime. Using process monitor, I saw that .NET was searching for a dll named "XYZ.XmlSerializers.-1378521009.dll". Why is there a '-1378521009' in the filename ? How to tell .NET to use the 'normal' DLL produced by sgen ?

  Hi All I've only just started using WPF. (I'm a WinForms guy), and from what I can see, trying to simply drag an image onto the Window is a huge PAIN. There seems to be no way where you can just select an option to tell it what picture to put indide the image control. I've seen so many sites within the last 10 minutes with atleast 10lines of code just to insert animage into a window. Is there an easier way?

  I am trying to use NSXMLElement to build an XML document in my app, but when i build i get an error which reads "NSXMLElement undelcared". From what i can tell, NSXMLElement is part of the Foundation Framework, and should therefore be included with the rest of the framework with the line #include <Foundation/foundation.h>. Is this class not available for iOS(4.2)? Is there some other class that i can use? TIA
