    Our performance testing team is running test on our WPF-WCF-Sql Server application and they are facing connection timeout after the load goes above 75 users Error -27796: Failed to connect to server "81.171.180.119:4567": [10060] Connection timed out I would like to know what can be steps to look at bottlenecks which may be causing issues like maybe some setting in Load Runner or identify the code bottlenecks.     I have a numpy array with positive and negative values in. a = array([1,1,-1,-2,-3,4,5]) I want to create another array which contains a value at each index where a sign change occurs (For example, if the current element is positive and the previous element is negative and vice versa). For the array above, I would expect to get the following result array([0,0,1,0,0,1,0]) Alternatively, a list of the positions in the array where the sign changes occur or list of booleans instead of 0's and 1's is fine.

    I was reading this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thread_safety Is the following function thread-safe? void foo(int y){ int * x = new int[50]; /*...do some stuff with the allocated memory...*/ delete x; } In the article it says that to be thread-safe you can only use variables from the stack. Really? Why? Wouldn't subsequent calls of the above function allocate memory elsewhere?

    I am reading a file that sometimes has chinese and characters of languages other than english. How can I write a regex that only reads english words/letters? should it just be /^[a-zA-Z]+/ ? If I do the above then words like eété will still be picked but I don't want them to be picked: "été".match(/^[a-zA-Z]+/) => #nil good I didnt want that word "eété".match(/^[a-zA-Z]+/) => #not nil tricked into picking something i did not want

    My Understanding Static block is executed during class loading, If a class is already loaded then there is no way to load the class other than class reloading Doubt/Question 1) Is there any time JVM reloads the class? My Understanding In Class Loading JVM loads source of the Java file, so it can not keep all thousands files source is a memory, it should discard the rarely used code and reload again when it is necessary and during reload JVM is not initializing static variables and locks again(may be using some tracking mechanism) Doubt/Question 2) If my above understanding is incorrect then please correct me
