    I'm part of a testing team and have been tasked with "behaving badly" using javascript in a firefox browser. I've tried these methods to take the browser down http://www.yuki-onna.co.uk/browserdeath.html but none of them do anything worse than cause a popup asking to shut down the script. Any other ideas?

    Is it possible to disallow free text entry in the JQuery UI autocomplete widget? eg I only want the user to be allowed to select from the list of items that are presented in the autocomplete list, and dont want them to be able to write some random text.     Did Spring abandon YAML to use as an alternative to .properties / .xml because of: [Spring Developer]: ...YAML was considered, but we thought that counting whitespace significant was a support nightmare in the making... [reference from spring forum] I am confident YAML makes a lot of sense for properties, and I am using it currently on the project, but have difficulties to inject properties in a <property name="productName" value="${client.product.name}" /> fashion.     I realise it is possible to create a crosstab within sqlite, but is it possible to dynamically determine the relevant categories/columns at runtime rather than hardcoding them? Given the following example, it can get rather tedious ... SELECT shop_id, sum(CASE WHEN product = 'Fiesta' THEN units END) as Fiesta, sum(CASE WHEN product = 'Focus' THEN units END) as Focus, sum(CASE WHEN product = 'Puma' THEN units END) as Puma, sum(units) AS total FROM sales GROUP BY shop_id I managed to do this in SQLServer in a stored proceedure before and wondered if there was anything equivalent.

  • How can we detect hotkeys registered by other apps?

    Is it possible to detect all the hotkeys registered by the OS as well as software applications currently running? Any native or managed approach on the Windows platform? I know that the RegisterHotKey function returns false if the hotkey is already registered, but what I am looking for is an approach, method, etc. that will give me a list of registered hotkeys. Looping all possible combinations with RegisterHotKey does not sound like a good idea. Anything more efficient?

    Hi, I seem to have the following problem. Whenever i call ICA.EnumerateApplications(), it always returns a zero. Same with ICA.enumerateServers(). But when i launch a published application via setting ICA.InitialProgram i have no problems in launching. Anything that i am missing here?? Client version is 10.x Thanks

    I can't find anything like that. Commercial or free ( XSQL Lite is suitable for my case and ) tools show diffs in grids with possibility to export to CSV. Also they generate sync SQL scripts when run from command line. What I need is an output as a comprehensive report ( XML , HTML ) suitable for parsing so that I would be able to show similar diff grid in my application ( updated old/new values for each column , added - all values for row , deleted - all values for row and etc... ) .

  • Prevent PowerPoint from pausing when focus is lost

    I've written an app that allows me to start multiple PowerPoint presentations, each on its own monitor (this particular config has 4 monitors). The problem I have now is that only the presentation that has focus has any animation. The other 3 pause until they receive focus via mouse click. Is there any way to keep this pause behavior from happening? (trick PowerPoint into thinking that all 4 retain focus, or anything else to accomplish 4 simultaneously animated presentations...)

    Hi, When you develop a Java application that talks to oracle DBs, there are 2 options right? One is oracle thin driver, and the other is OCI driver that requires its own installation (please correct if I'm misunderstanding). Now, what are the pros and cons? Obviously thin driver sounds much better in terms of installation, but is there anything that OCI can and the thin one can't? Develop environment is Tomcat6 + Spring 3.0 + JPA(Hibernate) + appache-DBCP Thanks in advance.

    I am trying to use the automapping feature of Fluent with nHinbernate to map a class with a different name than the table itself is name. (This is purely for stylistic reasons we have a class named Foo which contains an object named Bar but the table name is FooBar. We would rather not have a property Foo.FooBar.) I can't find anything detailing how to give Fluent a clue on this change.

  • Is it possible for a java.lang.Process to inherit the environement variables from another java.lang.

    I am trying to use groovy to do shell scripting on unix, but I am not having any luck having one process retain the environment variables changed by another process. For example, def p1 = ["bash", "-c", "source /some/setEnv.sh"].execute() Now, I would like a second process, p2, to inherit the environment variables that was set in p1. How can I do this? I don't see anything in java.lang.Process or its groovy extension that would spit out the environment variables after the process has executed.

So if I return a string it wont be ready for asp.net 4 when it comes. I dont want to add anything to system.web.mvc as that is a given dll.
