    I was reading http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/gitignore.html and the 6 points used to explain the ignore patterns seem to be describing a custom variant of a glob search syntax. I am more familiar with Mercurial, which allows to explicitly ignore via glob or regex patterns, no questions asked. Is there anything similar functionality in Git?     When I drag a Label control to my document, I get the following code : <asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" text="Label"></asp:Label> I prefer my code to look like the following instead : <asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" Text="Label" /> How can I get .NET to do this by default? I looked in Tools - Options - Text Editor, where you'd expect to find it, but I couldn't find anything relevant there.

  • Rails - why would a model inside RAILS_ROOT/lib not be available in production mode?

    Hi - I have a class located inside RAILS_ROOT/lib folder, which I use in one of my helpers, and it works great in development. When I switch to production, the application throws a NameError (uninitialized constant SomeHelper::SomeClass), and I have to load it manually in the helper: load "#{Rails.root}/lib/some_class.rb" module SomeHelper def some_method sc = SomeClass.new # blah end end I was under the impression that everything inside RAILS_ROOT/lib/* should be available all to the app - is there anything I need to configure to make this happen in prod mode? thanks.

    Hi! I'm trying to set the label backgroundColor of my UITableViewCells and it does absolutely nothing at all. I wonder if there's another way of doing this, so I'm asking!   • Message Queue with 'Message Barrier' Feature?

    Is there a message queue implementation that allows breaking up work into 'batches' by inserting 'message barriers' into the message stream? Let me clarify. No messages after a message barrier should be delivered to any consumers of the queue, until all messages before the barrier are consumed. Sort of like a synchronization point. I'd also prefer if all consumers received notification when they reached a barrier. Anything like this out there?

    Hi, i want to run a cron trigger every 5th day starting from the 16th of every month. so it should execute on every: 16th, 21st, 26th, 31st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th and so on i tried "0 0 1 16/5 * ?" but this gets execute on 16th, 21st, 26th, 31st, 16th, 21st.... It skips anything between 1st and 15th. Please help. thanks
