• MYOB Service Sales Import

  I have developed an export file from our Job Management system that I want to be able to import into MYOB Accounting Plus v18.5. The file is generated without issue and I have included every single field to make it easy for upload (i.e. Match All matches every field) The problem I am having is no matter what I do, I cannot get the sales to import... Every time, no matter what I do or how I create the customer card comes back with: Error -190: Customer not found. Sale invoice not imported. I have tried matching using - co./Last Name, Card ID & Record ID and every time I get the same error. I have created a single customer with a simply Co./Last Name, Card ID & Record ID and still, when I try to import using these same fields exactly matched, I get the same error...

• How to keep historic details of modification in a database (Audit trail)?

  I'm a J2EE developer & we are using hibernate mapping with a PostgreSQL database. We have to keep track of any changes occurs in the database, in others words all previous & current values of any field should be saved. Each field can be any type (bytea, int, char...) With a simple table it is easy but we a graph of objects things are more difficult. So we have, speaking in a UML point of view, a graph of objects to store in the database with every changes & the user. Any idea or pattern how to do that?

• Suppressing the language select button iPhone

  I'm working on an application now that contains an account register section. One field with secureTextEntry = NO (for registering only). The idea is this make registration faster and hopefully increases the number of signups. It's simple enough for me to just place a regular UITextField but if the user has any additional language keyboards then it's possible for the user to enter non-password friendly characters. Unlike in when secureTextEntry = YES. I know I can do textField.keyboardType = UIKeyboardTypeASCIICapable to get the text field to display the ASCII keyboard first, but the user will still have the keyboard switch button which will allow them to get to undesirable characters. Is there a simple method for suppressing the international button or forcing ASCII only keyboard with no international button? [EDIT] Another perhaps better option might be to suppress multi byte keyboards or even to display the text in the case that secureTextEntry = YES any ideas here? [EDIT AGAIN] I've decided it's a really bad idea to suppress the international button as non-multibyte characters should all be allowed.

• click-event doesn't fire if blur changes layout

  I have a form with blur-events bound to the required fields. Then there is a "Cancel" Button which simply calls an URL (button is an image with click-event). When leaving one of the required fields a warning is written to the page saying that field xy is required. - this causes a layout shift, meaning all the fields and the buttons are moved down a little bit because of the text inserted above. The tricky thing is this: when the focus is in an empty but required field and you click the cancel button, the required-warning is written to the screen but the click-event on the cancel button doesn't fire. I think this is due to the layout shift. The mouse cursor doesn't hover over the button anymore, because the button scrolled down. Has anyone a good idea how i could solve this?

Suppose I have a server at singapore and i am working in India,and the current time in singapore is 12 p.m and that in India is 9 a.m. Then while I am posting any purchase order packing slip, it is populating the modified date time field with the time of singapore i.e 12 p.m. But I require the Indian time i.e 9 a.m. to be populated there. • PHP - Short hand if statement with a date format with weird output.

  I am using a short hand notation of an if statement to format a field. If the field is an empty string I leave it as an empty string, if not then I am trying to format it to a proper datetime format so it can be inserted into a mysql db. here is my php code $date = ($date == '') ? date("Y-m-d", strtotime($date)) : $date; for some reason when the $date string is not empty it is returning it int he format 'm/d/Y' example: 04/01/2010 When I pull the code out of the shorthand if $date = date("Y-m-d", strtotime($date)); print($date); it is formatted correctly like this 'Y-m-d' or 2010-04-01. Does anyone know why this happens? Thanks

  Situation: On my site, I have a comment model, with a deleted field. Users cannot see deleted comments, but I would like to allow admins to see deleted comments, if they choose to. This will be accomplished by having a scope for users with the admin role which allows them to view comments with the deleted field set to false, as well as true. Question: Is Cancan's accessible_by method my best choice for doing so? From what I've read, it sounds like it will facilitate exactly what I'm trying to do, but, I don't want to implement something that is inefficient, if there is a better method.

The strange thing is that images found for different value of N is different. Sometimes there is no image, sometimes there is 1, 2 or 3 images, but each time there is a different set of images. But, in any case I could not find the image specified in the og:graph! MY QUESTIONS: https://developer.linkedin.com/documents/setting-display-tags-shares is saying one thing, and the personnel on the support forum is saying "over 300" Does anyone know What is the official minimum dimension of the image (both w and h)? Can an image be too large? Should I use the xmlns, should I not use xmlns or it doesn't matter? What are the maximum (and minimum) lengths for og:title and og:description tags? • SQL Encryption - Asymmetric Key - 2nd Server

  Hello, I created an asymmetric key on one of my SQL servers (2008). I encrypted a password field and I am able to retrieve that password just fine on my development server. The issue comes into play where I need to move this data to a production server. Here is the code for the key that was created: CREATE MASTER KEY ENCRYPTION BY PASSWORD='#########' CREATE ASYMMETRIC KEY UserEncryptionKey WITH ALGORITHM = RSA_2048 Now, when I run this on the production server, it creates the key just fine. However, when I run my sproc to get the password, it returns NULL. SQL: SELECT EncryptByAsymKey(AsymKey_ID('UserEncryptionKey'), Password ) FROM Users WHERE UserName = '######' Any thoughts on what I need to do to get the encrypted field to work on multiple SQL Servers? Please let me know if I need to clarify something. Thanks

Unfortunately, i've to create this field... and i would like to write it in my table. So my SQL question is: how to do this type of SQL to write the field NrDetail ?   Hi, I am new to asp.net and I have a problem. When the users insert in a editor for a decimal field something other than numbers, they get an error "Field name" is not a number. But I don't want them to receive this message I want them to receive another message. I have no problem with this with required and range validators. Is there any way for me to do this? I am not refering necessarily to changing the culture just displaying another message. Thanks.

  Hi all, I am learning how to use JQuery validation plugin, and came across some questions about the JQuery magic that works on the sumbit action. I got a simple HTML form which has got an input text field like this: <form class="cmxform" id="commentForm" method="get" action=""> <input id="cname" name="name" size="25" class="required" minlength="2" /> <input class="submit" type="submit" value="Submit"/> </form> The magic happened when I tried not to input any data into the field and pressed the submit button. I saw an error message in red pop up, and no matter how hard and how many times I pressed the submit button, nothing was submitted. It seemed that there was some scripts that disabled the submit action, but I just couldn't find which lines of codes in the JQuery Validatyion Plugin that did it.

• Explanation of contribute_to_class

  I'm attempted to extend code, and have come across an issue, I don't understand a line of code. I know the outcome of it - but I don't understand how it happens and am naturally enough scared to change it. The line of code I've come across is this: MyGenericRelation().contribute_to_class(model, 'field_name') The result of this code is a field with 'field_name' is added to the 'model' and from what I gather the objects inside the field are a list of type X (part of MyGenericRelation). I'm wondering if anyone can explain how this works. As in, why do I get a list of X objects attached to 'field_name' and if does it have to be generic relations prior to contribute_to_class or would using an actual model type, say 'Y' just give me a list of Y's. To be honest, I am more interested in the affect and functionality of the contribute_to_class method.

  Hola, I have an app i'm building in c#, and i'd like to have the ability to have a user click a "more information" icon next to a field, which will then show a callout with some blurb about why the field contains what it does. ideally it'd look a lot like the ValidatorCallout, but instead of being shown as a result of validation, it'll be shown as a result of a mouseclick, or hover.   I've seen various Grails plugins which allow easier handling of file uploads, however these tend only to support a single file per form-submit. I'd like a multi-attach form where as soon as you pick one file, an extra field and button is added using JS (various sites do it like this). Do you know of any good plugins which provide elegant uploading of multiple files without excessive coding? A progress bar either per-file of for the whole process would also be very nice. I don't know to what extent I can allow GORM to handle a java.io.File field (or in this case a Collection<File>).

• How should I build a privacy drop-down (select) menu?

  I'm trying to build something similar to Facebook's privacy selection menu, except without the 'custom' option. It will only list a few options such as 'show to all', 'show to friends only', or 'completely hidden'. Right now I'm thinking of using simple JavaScript to change a hidden input field to the new value they click on, so if they clicked on the division for 'show to friends only' it would change the corresponding field, say 'email_privacy', to 1. Is there a better way to do this or am I pretty much on track? P.S. I am not planning on using a select element, I was planning on building a custom drop-down menu using CSS since select elements are so highly non-customizable. I'm doing it this way to save space, rather than having this massive selection menu at the right which takes up a bunch of space. Note: I'm not really interested in using jQuery, that's just extra libraries and crap that I don't want to load. I can do it in JavaScript just as easily so I might as well use that.

• How can I convert arbitrary strings to CLS-Compliant names?

  Does anyone know of an algorithm (or external library) that I could call to convert an arbitrary string (i.e. outside my control) to be CLS compliant? I am generating a dynamic RDLC (Client Report Definition) for an ASP.Net Report Viewer control and some of the field names need to be based on strings entered by the user. Unfortunately I have little control over the entry of the field names by the client (through a 3rd party CMS). But I am quite flexible around substitutions required to create the compliant string. I have a reactive hack algorithm for now along the lines of: public static string FormatForDynamicRdlc(this string s) { //We need to change this string to be CLS compliant. return s.Replace(Environment.NewLine, string.Empty) .Replace("\t", string.Empty) .Replace(",", string.Empty) .Replace("-", "_") .Replace(" ", "_"); } But I would love something more comprehensive.   When SHOW WARNINGS after a EXPLAIN EXTENDED shows a Note 1276 Field or reference 'test.foo.bar' of SELECT #2 was resolved in SELECT #1 what exactly does that mean and what impact does it have? In my case it prevents mysql from using what seems to be a perfectly good index. But it's not about fixing that specific query (as it is an irrelevant test). • Returned JSON is seemingly mixed up when using jQuery Ajax

• Local Data Cache - How do I refresh the local db when I add fields to remote db?

  I'm using a Local Data Cache in an ASP.NET 3.5 environment. I made a change in my main database by adding a new field. I double click on my .SYNC file in my project to startup the Local Data Cache wizard again. The wizard starts and I click OK with the hopes that it'll re-query my database and add the new field to the local database file. Instead, I get an error saying "Synchronizing the databae failed with the message: Unable to enumerate changes at the DbServerSyncProvider..." The only way I know to get things working again is to delete the .SYNC file along with the local database and start it from scratch. There's got to be an easier way... anyone know it?

  Hello, I would like to perform a certain action when UITextField becomes empty (user deletes everything one sign after another or uses the clear option). I thought about using two methods - (BOOL)textField:(UITextField *)textField shouldChangeCharactersInRange:(NSRange)range replacementString:(NSString *)string; and - (BOOL)textFieldShouldClear:(UITextField *)textField; from UITextFieldDelegate I'm not sure how to detect the situation when the text field becomes empty? I tried with: if ([textField.text length] == 0) but it does't work as the fisrt of the above methods is called before the sign is deleted from the text field. Any ideas?
