Now when the validation fails i want to display the same flash[:error] message to the user using ajax. If the validation succeeds I can display the flash[:notice] as it is available after the request is completed. How do i go about displaying flash[:error]?

  I use tiny_mce as word-like editor in textareas that are in iframes. I want to use whole iframe space. TinyMCE has a fullscreen button, but I need to set full-screen mode automatically when plugin has loaded. Is there a function/trigger to call this mode (or the button)? Thanks for help.

• how to disable vim autocomplete popup for plain text files?

  After literally days of tweaking, I think I got vim's autocomplete (omnicomplete + Acp plugin) to work acceptably. But the annoying thing is that it is still enabled for plain text files so I would have to type :DisableAcp for README or plain text files. How do I add logic to my vimrc so that if it detects an empty filetype it disables the Acp on startup? here is what I wrote: if &filetype == "" let g:acp_enableStartup = 0 endif but this disables Acp on start up for all files.

Is there a way to add REFERER header for any RTSP streams within Windows Media Center, I learned that REFERER header is only added when Windows Media Player is in a embed state.   I try to start an Google appengine application in my eclipse. I have the Google plugin and I set the sdk for my application. But, when I start this one, I get the following error: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.datanucleus.store.appengine.jpa.DatastorePersistenceProvider However, this class is present in the sdk which is present in my classpath. Why Appengine doesn't find this class ? Thanks.

  I'm using Phing to do post build tasks in Hudson. I want to generate changelog containing all commits since last successful Hudson build. But looks like neither Hudson nor Git plugin for Hudson does not provide %last_build_time% variable. This would be satisfying solution, (but how to get the time?): git log --pretty="%s" --since="%last_build_time%" The only way I see for now is extracting it from the job xml file, but I do not know if it is possible with Phing. How do you generate your change logs?

• looking to scan documents directly to be uploaded to a webpage

  I was hoping to do this from a flash plugin, kind of how flash accesses the microphone or webcam but it doesn't seem possible. Is this going to be possible using Java, or ActiveX, or some other strategy that I haven't looked at yet? The idea is to do it without a client install, or at least something lightweight and browser and platform independent, (and possibly the moon on a stick as welll ;-))

  When using Django "out-of-the-box" administration forms, the "change form" pages can be rather long for complex models (with a lot of fields). I would like to use tabs in the "change form", so things can be more readable (group fields by tabs...) Instead of doing it all by myself, by modifiying the 'change_form.html' admin template, I was wondering whether somebody has already done that and would like to share the code, or whether an existing Django-plugin already exist.   I'd like to be able to have multiple "sets" of open files in netbeans but i didn't find a way or plugin to do it. Say i have 5 file related to "bug xyz" but i want to start working on feature "abc".   Are there any alternatives to ctags and cscope with Objective-c support. This does pertain to cocoa development, so inevitably it seems I will be using Xcode (and probably should). I was just wondering what are my Vim options. Maybe there is some type of plugin system like eclim, but for xcode? EDIT So it seems that other than updating ctags to support objective-c, I'm out of luck. Does anyone know if cscope is the same?

  Is it possible to detect the computed font-size of a DOM element, taking into consideration generic settings made elsewhere (In the body tag for example), inherited values, and so on? A framework-independent approach would be nice, as I'm working on a script that should work standalone, but that is not a requirement of course. Background: I'm trying to tweak CKEditor's font selector plugin (source here) so that it always shows the font size of the current cursor position (as opposed to only when within a span that has an explicit font-size set, which is the current behaviour).

  Is is possible to write a browser plugin (one that requires the user to install something is OK) that would allow interprocess communication between the browser and a running instance of Excel (on Windows)? For example, suppose I want the user to be able to click something within their browser, and then have a piece of text drop into the selected cell in Excel as a result. This is certainly possible to do with a regular desktop application and Excel, but I'm not sure if it is possible with a browser, for security reasons.
