    Im using the plone cms and am having trouble with a python script. I get a name error "the global name 'open' is not defined". When i put the code in a seperate python script it works fine and the information is being passed to the python script becuase i can print the query. Login page(which is in app1) is requested by app2. so, authetication is done by app1. we should need to redirected to requested resource in app2. ex browser---app2(home.aspx(unathenticated request so redirected to ))-----app1(login.aspx)---(once authenticated)-----app2(home.aspx) this is what i need? can you please help me?

    I heave searched Google for this and cannot seem to find a soloution I have bsd-mailx on my server and it sends mail just fine However I wished to have a development environment at home. I need mailx such that php can use its mail function. However the mail is failing to resolve the domain name @gmail.com I am aware that my ISP talk talk may be blocking this is they have a mail server smtp.talktalk.net I assume I would have to add somthing to /etc/mail.rc and use heirloom maEdit turned out I had a instance of send mail running that was doing weird things.. after killing ilx not bsd-mailx,,but would still need to set default smtp relay Im on ubuntu 12.4 thankyou Edit turned out I had a instance of send mail running that was doing weird things.. after killing that, I was able to add the smtp relay, but its now saying that the sender domain does not work. I assume this domain has to route back the the same machine the mail originated from. as i dont have a domain for my home address.

    First I've created a home.php page to replace index.php and can add some custom fields on this new one and to have in it lastest 3 posts.     I'm trying to return my links so they display as /Area_1419.aspx/2/1. I've managed to get that result in example 2 but I don't understand why it works, as I would exspect example 1 below to work. I don't see how Example 2 knows to go to the Area_1419 controller?     Hi all, I am working on an artificial intelligence project which is a logic game and aims two user connecting to the server on the network who acts as an Admin and then start to play one by one. In order to create connections, i have a server code which is just listening on localhost:8000 and assigning team values to the clients as they arrive. After connecting, clients make their move under Admin's control. The question is that when i try to put my code to work in the browser it fails with the following error: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission 127.0.0.1:8000 connect,resolve) Even though i have created my own policy, first granting only Socket access permission to the codebase of my project folder (file:///home/xxx/projects/-), after it didnt work i granted all permissions from all codebase. I tried placing my policy file both in the home directory and in the same directory where my applet code resides. Appreciate any tips, thanks.

    I am using the Ajax.BeginForm to create a form the will do an ajax postback to a certain controller action and then if the action is successful, the user should get redirected to another page (if the action fails then a status message gets displayed using the AjaxOptions UpdateTargetId). using (Ajax.BeginForm("Delete", null, new { userId = Model.UserId }, new AjaxOptions { UpdateTargetId = "UserForm", LoadingElementId = "DeletingDiv" }, new { name = "DeleteForm", id = "DeleteForm" })) { [HTML DELETE BUTTON] } If the delete is successful I am returning a Redirect result: [Authorize] public ActionResult Delete(Int32 UserId) { UserRepository.DeleteUser(UserId); return Redirect(Url.Action("Index", "Home")); } But the Home Controller Index view is getting loaded into the UpdateTargetId and therefore I end up with a page within a page. Two things I am thinking about: Either I am architecting this wrong and should handle this type of action differently (not using ajax). Instead of returning a Redirect result, return a view which has javascript in it that does the redirect on the client side. Does anyone have comments on #1? Or if #2 is a good solution, what would the "redirect javascript view" look like?

  • Persisting cookie for iPhone UIwebview mobile web app

    I'm using MVC4 forms auth. My mobile web app runs in full screen UIwebview on iphone. I have a home screen icon for my mobile web app. The app needs to launch external links. Those launch in Safari, which works fine. However returning to the mobile web app by clicking again on the home screen icon, seems to have logged the user out. Ideally I want the user to remain logged into the web app after viewing the external links in Safari. Maybe the cookie got deleted? Can I persist the cookie?

  • Blank screen after GRUB (64 bit) - cannot install Ubuntu

    My laptop's specs: Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 Intel Core i5-2410M @ 2.3Ghz 6 Gb RAM DDR3 640 Gb ATAPI Hard-disk Drive @ 5,200 RPM NVIDIA GeForce G520M with Optimus switching technology Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter REALTEK soundcard Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit I downloaded Ubuntu Studio 11.04 and burned the iso image onto two different DVDs, using two different programs (one DVD is RW, the other is just R). I verified the hash MD5sum thing. I get as far as GRUB with the 4 options (install, advanced install, disk verification, system rescue) but no matter which one I select, I get a blank screen and nothing happens. The DVD drive spins down after about 30 seconds. Also just before the GRUB screen I get a message saying Error: "Prefix" is not set. I'm not sure if that's relevant. I have tried all the options using both DVDs. Same thing happens. I have changed the graphics setting in BIOS to UMA or Optimus, but still happens either way. I've tried booting with the wireless switch turned off, same thing happens. I downloaded 'vanilla' Ubuntu 64-bit and burned onto a CD, and the same thing happens. I have downloaded Ubuntu 32-bit and I am able to boot from the live CD (interestingly the wireless card won't work, but that's maybe another issue). I have searched extensively through these forums and other sites but I can't see anything that will help me. Is there something I'm missing? I'd really appreciate help on this. The laptop is less than 2 weeks old. I was so looking forward to getting Ubuntu Studio up and running. I've gone about as far as my technical abilities will allow.

  • How to make an ISO copy of Linux-filesystem and user files of VPS Debian based?

    Hello! I have a Debian-Based VPS on some hosting. I want to migrate from it and i need to make a full copy of all Linux-filesystem (and installed packages) + all home directory with website files. And then pack/convert it to ISO image so that to use it on cloud hostings like Amazon. The problem is that i have only ssh root access. Hosting support can't do that for me. Another part of the question - is it possible to enlarge the Linux-filesystem by not re-installing it and using the free space of home directory? Is it possible to do? I guess it is possible with rsync or something like that. Will my Mysql databes copy together with all other data? Thanks in advance!

    I have a site that physically has this directory structure. -public_html --conf > contains file conf.php -SiteFiles -LiveSite > contains file ConfLive.php Directory public_html/conf/ contains a file called conf.php this file contains the following include include_once('/home/mydir/SiteFiles/LiveSite/conf/ConfLive.iphp'); I want to copy this application to test PC to test it. Test PC uses XAMPP Apache. "Root" directory on the test machine is: C:\xampp\htdocs\ My questions: 1. Where is logical path "/home/mydir/" defined? 2. What steps should I take to get this to work on my test machine preferably by server configuration and not changing application. Thanks.   • What You Said: How You Sync and Organize Your Bookmarks

    Earlier this week we asked you to share your favorite techniques for synchronizing and organizing your browser bookmarks. Now we’re back to highlight the most popular techniques, tricks, and services. By far and away, Xmarks was the most frequently mentioned service. For the unfamiliar, Xmarks is a bookmark syncing service that is packed with features. Not only does Xmarks sync bookmarks between browsers and/or computers it also supports iOS, Android, and BlackBerry (mobile integration requires an upgrade to the premium account). In addition to syncing the bookmarks it also integrates with your search results so you can see how other Xmarks users have ranked sites within your search results. Steve-O-Rama highlights one of the many benefits of Xmarks: Xmarks seems to do the job for me. I’ve got a handful of machines, each with three or four browsers; over the years, I’ve accumulated thousands of bookmarks, stretching across many areas of interest. Trying to keep them all straight had been quite a struggle until Xmarks came along. I freaked out when the company was acquired by LastPass, but was subsequently relieved when they continued the free service. Xmarks has a very nice web interface to access, export, search, organize, and do many other things with your bookmarks. In this way, even if I’m on the go, I can access every bookmark I’ve made. Even so, I still make occasional local backups, directly from the browsers to a network folder. Delicious bookmarks, another veteran of the bookmark syncing services, had a fair number of supporters among the HTG readership.   • MS Access (2010) Enable Design View

    I downloaded the Access template below for doing a home inventory: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/results.aspx?qu=home%20inventory&ex=1&queryid=0d245f2a%2Dacdc%2D4161%2D92c8%2D8ba16a52ab32&AxInstalled=1&c=0#ai:TC101918100| The design view is not visible, which is a bit of a nuisance. Things I've tried: 1) In options/options/current database/ the check boxes (enable layout view & enable design changes for tables in Datasheet view) are both greyed out. 2) I've unblocked the file using Right-Click-Properties. 3) I've tried copying/exporting the objects to another database. But can only copy/export the tables. 4) I've tried holding shift when opening the DB. 5) Enabling all trust permissions etc. None of these work Does anybody have any suggestions. (I'm using Office 2010) Thanks

  • print jobs are held until the VirtualBox guest OS is reboot

    Here is the setup: VirtualBox 4.1.20 (which the Help window describes as 4.1.12_Ubuntu) Extension Pack 4.1.20 (for USB support) Windows 7 Home Premium as a guest operating system on VirtualBox Ubuntu 12.04 with dist-upgrade's to September 2012 as the host operating system. Fuji Xerox DocuPrint P205b, which I believe is a GDI printer, connected via USB. The problem is that often print jobs will sit in the print queue and nothing comes out of the printer. The printer status for the first item in the queue will be Printing even though nothing happens. Then upon rebooting Windows, the print jobs get printed, seemingly simultaneous to the rebooting process; that is as Windows reloads. One way to avoid this problem is to reboot Windows with the printer cable attached, and then submit the print jobs. The print jobs get printed in a timely manner. Perhaps VirtualBox has a problem with USB being plug-n-play and hot pluggable. It's not convenient to have the printer plugged in when Windows boots because: One, this is a laptop, and Two, I may be boot Windows for a purpose other than printing and not anticipate needing to print. Are there any recommendable fixes for this problem?
