  I have an application on my server that is called leaf.exe, that haves two arguments needed to run, they are: inputfile and outputfile, that will be like this example: pnote.exe input.pnt output.txt The executable is at exec/, inputfile is at upload/ and outputfile is on compiled/. But I need that a PHP could run the application like that, then I want to know: How could I do this on a server that have exec() disabled and I can't turn it on, because I don't have privileges to do it? How could I echo the output of the program?

• Formatting PHP Code within Vim

  I'm currently using Vim as a lightweight IDE. I have NERDTree, bufexplorer, supertab, and ctags plugins which do almost everything I want. Only big thing missing for me is auto code formatting. I'm working with some messy PHP code which has inconsistent indenting and code formatting, ideally I could highlight the code I want formatted (whole files would be fine too) and run a command to tidy it. Does anybody have a nice solution for this working in Vim?

For each row, I need it's 3 previous rows and 3 next rows for some requirement. while(($data = fgetcsv($handle, 5000, ",")) !== FALSE) { //$data is current row data //I need previous rows and next rows data } I don't know how to try this, as each while iterate will be having the current row's information.   Ok I wrote my own version of SALT I call it salty lol don't make fun of me.. Anyway the registration part of my script as follows is working 100% correctly. //generate SALTY my own version of SALT and I likes me salt.. lol function rand_string( $length ) { $chars = "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuwxyz1234567890"; $size = strlen( $chars ); for( $i = 0; $i < $length; $i++ ) { $str .= $chars[ rand( 0, $size - 1 ) ]; } return $str; } $salty = rand_string( 256 ); //generate my extra salty pw $password = crypt('password'); $hash = $password . $salty; $newpass = $hash; //insert the data in the database include ('../../scripts/dbconnect.php'); //Update db record with my salty pw ;) // TESTED WITH AND WITHOUT SALTY //HENCE $password and $newpass mysql_query("UPDATE `Register` SET `Password` = '$password' WHERE `emailinput` = '$email'"); mysql_close($connect); However my LOGIN script is failing. I have it setup to TEST and echo if its login or not. It always returns FAILED. I entered the DB and changed the crypted salty pw to "TEST" and I got a SUCCESS. So my problem is somewhere in this LOGIN script I assume. Now I am not sure how to implement my $Salty in this. But also be advised that even without SALTY (just using crypt to store my pass) - I was still unable to perform a login successfully.
