  Hi This is pretty hard to explain but i'll give it a shot. Working with Safari to create an extension as is now possible with Safari 5 - how would I go about getting the URL of the current page with using JavaScript and the Safari API? I would also like to be able to get a hyperlink that is selected. For instance in Safari when you right click on a hyperlink and it says open in a new tab, open in a window etc - clicking opens that hyperlink. What part of the API is used to get access to the link itself, and how does it know its a link in the first place? I hope thats clear enough. Thanks

• Identifying control characters in Perl

  Actually, I am doing one project. In that I want to implement the command line features as like in linux terminal. And I saw this in ftp command also. If I press tab I need to list the commands. If I press control characters I need to get that characters based on that I will do some action. And If I give any commands it should execute. For this I tried with Term::ReadKey that is non canonical mode. But here I am facing more problems like, If I press any control character or arrow I got three characters. Ex: for up arrow I got ascii as 279165. Can anyone help me out of this problem? And I feel that there will be a better solution for this. Thanks in Advance.

• How to save coordinates with Google Map?

  Hey everyone. I'm currently developing an app which uses tabs and google map. What I want to do is to get the gps positions, say 3, and store them in sql db (which I'm already doing) and then display them on the map. I already created canvas, added to overlay but those points disappear when I'm changing tabs so I thought if there is a way to somehow store those coords with google map so I can retrieve them and display them nicely whenever I'm clicking the "map tab"? Please can anyone help?

• Unable to Access the Dynamic control

  Hello, I have created Views for Multiview dynamically . In the view control I have a Gridview control which has a checkbox control. I have a button in the main aspx page on click of which it will check(if checked or not) for all the checkbox and fetch the corresponding row from the gridview. The view is for tabbed menu. In each tab the the gridview populates the data in the runtime. Have defined the dynamic control in Page_PreInit. I'm not able to access the checkbox . How would I achieve this . Thanks

• Referencing a different project in the same assembly, different namespaces

  I have two projects : Menu and Module and they are both in the same namespace foobar. I am currently referencing the module project from the Menu project to open up certain controls on a tab control in my menu. However I need to launch a new control from one of my controls which is located in the Module project. When I try referencing the menu project, it does not show up in my intellisense when I try to reference it with a using. Am I doing something wrong logically here? • Allow users to enter a variable length list of items in asp.net form

  I need to let my users enter a variable length list of items into something that looks like a grid view (or a series of standard text boxes stacked vertically). Each item could be a few characters or a few hundred characters long, and I just want them to enter a "sentence", and then tab to the next row, and always having another blank one ready to go at the bottom of the list. I don't want to save any data to my SQL Server DB until they enter the entire list and then click on a "save all" button. When they hit the "save all" button they will be given a preview screen where the data will be presented as standard HTML ordered list. If they confirm/save, then each row of the grid will then be saved as a separate row into my SQL Server database (with an index to remember the order). What ASP.Net (or Jquery/javascript) UI control would be the best to use in this situation?

• Deleted nib still displayed when controller is pushed

  I have an application with a UINavcontroller under a tab bar controller. To create the navigation model I want, I push a container UIView object onto the stack to manage additional views(Thanks Frank). When I created the container class, an associated nib file was created along with it. I at first used that nib file, but it turned out it was better not to. So I deleted the nib (and selected 'also move to trash'). The problem is that it still shows up when I push its view controller onto the stack. I have tried emptying the cache in xcode and restarting xcode. What am I missing?

• Access is denied trying to access a sMetabasePath on a SMTP Server from a different Web Server

  I have written a C# dot net application that updates the SMTP relay restriction list in IIS 6. Running the application locally works great and I can add/remove IPs/DNS from the relay restriction list without any problem. Now I need to do the same for a SMTP server that is not running on the same webserver that I have the application running. So I have the web application on webserver A and the SMTP server on webserver/smtp server B. My app pool is running under a domain user and I have given the same user rights to the SMTP server under the security tab in the SMTP Virtual Server property window. I thought I could simply change the sMetabasePath from "IIS://localhost/smtpsvc/1" to "IIS://10.171.243.134/smtpsvc/1" and everything would just work but I get an "Access is denied" error. So I must have to do something else to get this to work. I even gave the domain user full admin rights on the SMTP server to no avail. Any ideas

  Hi, Me testing in Samsung Galaxy tab. In that i have made two layout folder for both ORIENTATION_LANDSCAPE and ORIENTATION_PORTRAIT with specific layout xml in it. In that layout i have a button and on clicking it start a progress dialog (doing some stuff using AsyncTask, after that going to new intent) But when the device is rotated when the progress dialog is working, that dialog and AsyncTask stop and new layout is loaded. If i understood correctly, I think the onCreate is called when device is rotated How i can block calling onCreate while rotating device when My AsyncTask start? Thank you

  Is there anyway to use the built-in DNN Menu module to display a menu based at a different root node other than the current tab node? Given the following structure: Page1 -child1_1 -child1_2 Page3 Page2(hidden) -child2_1 -child2_2 In this scenario I will be having 2 menus on this skin. One will be normal navigation based off of the current node and the other will be a set of 'static' links to pages located outside the current node. When on Page1 the normal navigation will show Page1, Page3 and the children of Page1 nested under Page1. The 'static' links will use 'Page2' as their root and will show child2_1 and child2_2.

  I'm trying to slide some (custom) tab-like buttons into view. I don't want them all to move at the same time. Also, they shouldn't move one at at time (where one slides after the other finishes). I want each button to begin sliding slightly after the previous. Preferably it would happen on a curve but just a fixed .1 second offset would be alright too. Monotouch or Obj-C code is fine. I want to create two versions of an application; a console based program that will perform whatever actions are given on the command line or interactively at the console as well as a GUI based program (Mac Cocoa and Windows MFC). Both versions will share a common C++ backend. For the console based program I would like similar history abilities to readline (which I cannot use as this application will be closed source) with command completion (Tab-activated for example). • Automatically save CSS changes made to existing styles in Chrome dev tools?

  I've already mapped the necessary files to the local resource - however, while that does allow me to save any changes made to a file in the Sources panel, I was wondering if it's possible to automatically save changes to CSS made in the Elements panel. Otherwise at the moment, any changes made to the style in the Elements panel seem to exist only there. I remember at some point there used to be a little indicator of the file and line number next to a class/id etc. in the Styles tab of the Elements panel - surely it can't be that hard to simply 'update' any changes to that style rule considering Chrome knows exactly where it's coming from (in the case that it's a stylesheet and not an inline style?). It would be a great relief to my workflow. The answers to this similar question are obsolete.

• can not find out if the div element is already set in body in chrome extension

  in my chrome extension I got an div, which I will add to the body of the current tab. I am listening to chrome.tabs.onUpdated. If this event is called, I execute a script inside content_scripts. In this function there I´ll wait till the document is ready with jQuery $(document).ready(...). I try to access $("#div").length and sometimes it returns 1 and sometimes 0. It should added to the body, if it´s not already there. For some strange reasons, the onUpdated event is called twice on each page reload. Actually I found no way to check safely if the div was already added.

  I am attempting to use a few of the simple android examples for Tab Views. One thing i am attempting to do different than all the examples i've seen so far, is to not use a TabActivity. I am trying to use a normal activity, which means i need to retrieve the TabHost object some how, so i can add tabs and etc to it. How can this be done? If you wanted to retrieve a view, you can simply use findViewById(R.id.blah), but how can you retrieve the TabHost object in a similar manner?

• using i18n characters in url of image tag does not display the image

  I am using the image tag as the path /data/image/image.txt does exists. and it displays the image also. but when i introduce some i18n characters in the path lets say it says 404 error image not found, but the path /data/image??/image.txt does exists, please help me to find the solution for this? I used the firebug also to see whether the characters are decoded properly or not, in firebug I am able to see the correct characters they are not changed, still it is not able to pick the image. thanks a lot in advance. Note: I am using tag because it was not allowing me to write the img tab in the post, and i have changed the jif ext to txt. please consider this.

".$where. " Group by ".$field." order By ".$orderBy; return $this->query; } And all the remaining code of the php page that should get loaded. I've retrieved the previous versions of the private/etc folder and usr/lib/php folder with time machine but it didn't help. And now if I execute sudo pachectl restart it gives me this error: sudo: no valid sudoers sources found, quitting (while before it worked. PS I'm on a mac with Mountain Lion

  Hello, I have a problem: I've add a Jquery UI drag-n-drop widget to my page, but after that I can't type anything into inputs or textareas. I use jQuery 1.4.2 and jQuery UI 1.8rc3, and tiny_mce for convert textareas into WYSIWUG editor (I've tried to disable tiny_mce). When I put $("input").click( function(){ alert('clicked!'); }); - it's working(I have an alert). When I get focused to any input I even can't refresh page by F5 and go to the next element by Tab key.   I have a LinkedList of Components, each of which I would like to add into two different JTabbedPanes. For some reason, Swing is only letting me put each component into one or the other. The code I'm using is the following: /* The two tab panes */ JTabbedPane leftTabs = new JTabbedPane(); JTabbedPane rightTabs = new JTabbedPane(); for (int i=0; i<tabPanes.size(); i++) { rightTabs.add(tabPanes.get(i)); leftTabs.add(tabPanes.get(i)); } Whichever add call I put last is the one that works; if I add to leftTabs last, then rightTabs ends up empty, and vice-versa. Any ideas on how to get this working? Thanks!
