  • Multiple RadUpload Control in One Page

    I have an aspx page that uses master page. In the papx page, I load a user control containing 2 RadUpload controls (Rad1 and Rad2). User can choose to upload the file either using the first RadUpload or the second RadUpload and there is certain validation applied for each RadUpload. The weird thing happened is that when I upload file using Rad2 (second RadUpload), the RadUpload.UploadedFiles for the first RadUpload is there (count = 1). Instead of the file being uploaded by Rad2, it is detected as if it is uploaded from Rad1, so my validation failed. Does someone encounter this problem before? This is a very weird thing and I've spent almost 1 and a half day fixing this without knowing what happened to the control

    I'm currently creating a WPF application, using C# and XAML in Visual Studios 2010. I have a master grid. In that master grid I have a group bar which you can select different items. Depending on what you select, the middle of the master grid can be totally different. What I was wondering is, what's the best way to program the middle part? Right now, I have it set up in such a way that everything in the middle is dynamically programed in C#, and everything on the outside is programmed in XAML. In C# I programmed: for each group bar item, there is a grid that goes with it (so that different content can be displayed on it). Each grid is a child of the master grid. Each grid is visible or hidden when necessary. Is this the best way to approach this? The best example of this is in Outlook 2007, where you have your group bar on the right hand side. When you select different items on the group bar (mail, calendar, tasks) the right of the group bar completely changes.

  • CSS - vertical align text where text can be multiple lines

    Hi all I've been given a design by a graphic designer, which I'm trying to put into HTML and CSS. One of the issues I'm facing is on a user input form. In the design the labels for each input are a fixed width - say 100px. The container for each label/input pair is fixed at 2em. The design I've been given has asked that the text for each label is vertically aligned. So the structure is like this: <containerTag> <label /> <input /> </containerTag> No problems as long as the text is on one line (I would have just used line-height of 2em to match the container), but some of the text in the labels are wrapping to two or even lines. Is there a semantic and nice way to get around this problem? I need something that will work in IE6-9, Firefox 3.5+, Chrome and Safari. Although I am using progressive enhancement, so if there is a solution that will only work on the later browsers, but won't break the older ones, then this would be acceptable.     Hey, I'm trying to write a kernel to essentially do the following in C float sum = 0.0; for(int i = 0; i < N; i++){ sum += valueArray[i]*valueArray[i]; } sum += sum / N; At the moment I have this inside my kernel, but it is not giving correct values. int i0 = blockIdx.x * blockDim.x + threadIdx.x; for(int i=i0; i<N; i += blockDim.x*gridDim.x){ *d_sum += d_valueArray[i]*d_valueArray[i]; } *d_sum= __fdividef(*d_sum, N); The code used to call the kernel is kernelName<<<64,128>>>(N, d_valueArray, d_sum); cudaMemcpy(&sum, d_sum, sizeof(float) , cudaMemcpyDeviceToHost); I think that each kernel is calculating a partial sum, but the final divide statement is not taking into account the accumulated value from each of the threads. Every kernel is producing it's own final value for d_sum? Does anyone know how could I go about doing this in an efficient way? Maybe using shared memory between threads? I'm very new to GPU programming. Cheers

    Hey, Is it possible that the same name used can have many different values stored separately and to be shown in a list? e.g. function save() { var inputfield = document.getElementById('field').innerHTML; localStorage['justified'] = inputfield; } <input type="text" id="field" onclick="save();" /> Everytime someone enters something in the input field, and click on save, the localstorage will only save the value in the same name, however, does this conflict the way storage are saved, like being replaced with the latest input value? Also, is there anyway to prevent clearing the localstorage when clearing the cache? Thanks.

How can i execute the SQL statement against successfully against all tables here ?   • testng multiple suites

    Hi people. my problem is as follows: i am testing a web-ui using selenium and testng. i have a test suite with many test classes in it. i have a method with the @BeforeSuite witch also has a @Parameters annotation, this method recieves as a parameter the browser in witch the selenium will test by run,executing the lines: selenium = new DefaultSelenium("localhost", 4444, **browser**, "http://localhost:8099"); selenium.start(); the xml im using to run the test suite is: <suite name="suite"> <parameter name = "browser" value = "*firefox"/> <test name="allTests"> <classes> <class name="test.webui.MemcachedDeploymentTest" /> </classes> </test> </suite> this works fine and the test runs in firefox. my problem is that i would like to somehow run this suite again, immediatly after the first run finishes, but this time with chrome as the browser. i now have 2 xml suites, one with chrome and one with firefox, is there any way to run these test suites one after the other automatically? maybe using a third xml?     My project needs to handle three databases, that means three session factories. The thing is if i do something like this with fluent nhibernate: .Mappings(m = m.FluentMappings.AddFromAssembly(Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly())) the factories would pick up all the mappings, even the ones that correspond to another database I've seen that when using automapping you can do something like this, and filter by namespace: .Mappings(m = m.AutoMappings.Add(AutoMap.AssemblyOf().Where(t = t.Namespace == "Storefront.Entities"))) I havent found anything like this for fluent mappings, is it possible?? The only solutions I can think of are: either create separate assemblies for each db mapping classes or explicitly adding each of the entities to the factory configuration. I would prefer to avoid both, if possible. Thanks.

I am sure I've tried almost everything I can think of, but nothing is coming to mind. I apologize if the answer to this is simple, but It's just escaping me right now.

I'd like to write a query that will read from the output DB, and JOIN it to data in one of the source DB. However, the source table may be one or more individual tables :( The name of the source DB is included in the output DB; ideally, I'd like to do something like the following (pseudo-SQL ahoy) SELECT output.UID, output.description, input.data from output.dbo.description LEFT JOIN (SELECT input.UID, input.data FROM [output.sourcedb].dbo.datatable ) AS input ON input.UID=output.UID Is there any way to do something like the above - "dynamically" specify the database and table to be joined on for each row in the query?
