    The question describes everything, how does allmyapps work? With a single click (like iPhone app store), you click on install and my system asks me "DO you want to install?" In contrast to regular installation, we 1st download the .exe or .deb and install it. So, how is it possible via web? I think, I am missing out on something very basic, but can some one please explain.

    I'm trying to use telnet (debian lenny 5.0.2) to check behavior of a postfix installation, but I can't telnet to smtp. telnet localhost smtp telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused telnetting to port 25 doesn't work either. I can telnet to port 110 and pop3. How should I go about debugging this?

Is there any way to get it to install without Powershell?     I recently installed Ubuntu 10.04 on my laptop. Due to space constraint of the SSD, I did not set a swap partition for the OS, and I have 1.5GB of RAM. There's a warning during installation, but I think it's not a big deal since everything went smoothly. For the long term, would there be any drawbacks of not having a swap partition?

When I try to execute ./install on the command prompt, it waits for few seconds and then returns to prompt without any error.   • CAS auth fails while migrating wordpress-mu from apache to IIS

    Having an issue migrating a wordpress-mu installation that I have running with cas authentication enabled (using wpcas and phpcas 1.1.0) from apache on an ubuntu machine to IIS on a windows 2008 machine. While CAS authed fine under linux, I'm getting a "CAS Authentication failed! You were no authenticated." page that pops up whenever I enter in a correct login. Anyone know whats up or if there are some logs I can look at to get more info?

I intend to install VS2008 in the VM and use it in Virtualbox when doing quick work and on native hardware when doing a lot of work.
