    Hello all, I am currently in the process of designing an interface for .NET software that would be consumed by COM objects - specifically, VB6. While I have found a number of pages by Microsoft detailing how to make an COM-interoperable interface, I am currently tripping over the use of Collections in design time: I would like to be able to use a standard VB6 "Collection object" in the .NET program - for example, specify an argument as being a VB6 collection - and thus minimize the time necessary for clients to consume the interface.   • How do I make a page aware that the viewer is logged in or not?

    I am building a membership site... I just got thru the login page and I can now login and logout. However that alone doesn't protect all my pages in the root.. How do I go about this? I'd like to set it up like so when the viewer isn't log-in, the page that's being opened would say "Log in first blah3x"... Any help pls??? :-(

    Hi guys, Ive got a problem with loading an applet from WEB-INF/classes directory. The main class of an applet (MainApplet.class) is there in the package aaa, but when loading I got the exception java.lang.ClassNotFoundException. Where am I wrong?     I refresh pages by writing window.location = window.location; however this doesnt work on a page like /page#c22. It will just jump to whereever c22 is. How do i refresh the page? It does not need to use go to #c22 once refreshed but i am sure there is a more dependable way then window.location = window.location

    I have some pages indexed by Google, for example: /product.html?affiliateid=142 I want a rewrite rule to 301 redirect to the same page if there's an affiliateid=xxx So far I have this: RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^affiliateid=[0-9]+$ RewriteRule ^$ /test.html$ [L,R=301] But its not working, I need to get rid of the variable and get the page name somehow.

    By default, it looks like Sitecore does not cache pages. In web.config, set this <setting name="DisableBrowserCaching" value="false"/> and create pipeline processor page.Response.Cache.SetExpires(DateTime.Now.AddSeconds(60)); page.Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.Public); but it did not work, the repose head stays no-cache. By the way, I add the pipeline in the renderLayout, anyone knows? thanks!

    Im building an automatic refreshing comment section for my website using jQuery .load. So I am using a javascript 'setTimeout' timer to check for new comments. But after doing some stuff like changing comment pages or deleting (all using ajax), a few old timers keep running, even though I used clearTimeout before loading new ajax content. Is there some way to clear ALL javascript timers when I load new ajax content?
