The client should send it back so the load balancer knows where (which server) is dedicated to a specific client (the idea is that the first time the client get a server and the cookie identifies the server, then the load balancer sends the client to the same server for every call) Now, is there a way to tell to the plugin to enable automatically the cookie handling?

  Hi folks, I'm trying to configure a server with Sendmail and Mailman. I've been getting "Broken pipe" errors for a while, and have slowly been debugging. I fixed some permission issues, and changed the user that Mailman expects to be called from, among other things. Finally, I'd gone through everything I could think of, so I added a new test to see if it's the Mailman script or Sendmail that's causing the problem. I want to detect the failure of this codeline and execute again until it successfully executes! I tried using "TRY CATCH and WHILE methods": bool flag = true; do { try { xslTransform.Load(strXmlQueryTransformPath, xslSettings, new XmlUrlResolver()); flag = false; } catch { flag = true; } } while (flag); but the problem is "error is getting logged in the log file", Well. The whole code is under one more try statement, which I suspect is writing to log. Which is what I don't want... I don't want end user to know about the failure of this codeline. Is there anyway to get it done?

  I have a VDD dll that's loaded by a DOS program running inside the NTVDM. This dll uses C++/CLI and references a .NET assembly. All in all, the loading process is something like this: NTVDM runs: prntsr.com which uses VDD RegisterModule to load: prnvdd.dll which references .NET assembly: prnlib.dll The prntsr.com, prnvdd.dll and prnlib.dll files are all in the same folder.   Ever since FireFox 4, page tabs have been moved to the top of the window. This gets pretty irritating when surfing the net through a remote desktop session. Often when I want to switch tabs, if I accidentally move my mouse a little to much to the top, I get the remote desktop connection bar blocking the tabs instead, then I'd have to wait a few frustrating seconds before it disappears again. So, are there any methods to shrink or shorten the remote desktop connection bar or delay the appearance of it?

• Perl Module from relative path not working in IIS6

  Disclaimer: I am not a PERL developer and am learning by the seat of my pants. I am using a Perl module called from a CGI scipt in IIS 6 that is bombing. The identical folder structure on an XP machine (IIS 5.1) works fantastic. If I remove the module loading command at line 9, it will print "about to load" and "ok", but When I try to run use Language::Guess; I receive The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. in the browser. The folder structure is /cgi-bin/test.pl /PerlModules/Language/Guess.pm I have tried adjusting the file/folder permissions and have reviewed my IIS configuration time and again. It runs fine from the command line on the IIS machine or if I copy the module into \Perl\site\lib, but I don't have permission to load modules on the shared server this script is destined for. Am I missing something simple? • apache sendmail: trying to change user "from" address from apache to domain account

  I apologize if I am asking a question already answered, but my problem isn't really that I haven't found an answer. I have, in fact, found a half-dozen different "solutions" to my problem, tried them all, in various combinations, and have been consistently unsuccessful. The goal All I want to do is change the envelope "from" address for all email sent from [email protected] to [email protected], always. What I've already done I am running Apache, PHP, and sendmail on CentOS 5.5, [email protected]. We have an SMTP server at 192.168.0.4. The domain's email accounts are all at @domain.org. I have successfully set up "smart host" using this line in the sendmail.mc file: define(`SMART_HOST', `192.168.0.4')dnl Then I set up masquerading, and was hopeful this would solve it. I have this in the .mc file: FEATURE(`masquerade_entire_domain')dnl FEATURE(`masquerade_envelope')dnl FEATURE(`allmasquerade')dnl MASQUERADE_AS(`domain.org')dnl MASQUERADE_DOMAIN(`domain.org.')dnl MASQUERADE_DOMAIN(`localhost.localdomain.')dnl This rewrites "to" addresses, but not "from" addresses. Testing from the command line: sendmail -v [email protected] Always is shown from the local user (in this case root, or my local user account). I had read that "sendmail" command sometimes bypasses masquerading. Nevertheless, using the "mail" command has the same result. After that, I have explored several "solutions", including: mailertable virtusertable FEATURE(`accept_unresolvable_domains')dnl LOCAL_DOMAIN(`localhost.localdomain')dnl FEATURE(`genericstable')dnl /etc/mail/access file /etc/mail/local-host-names file /etc/mail/trusted-users file All to no affect. The last thing I've tried So, I decided to go in a different direction, and try to set the envelope "from" address via PHP, using either the configuration in /etc/php.ini, or adding the -f parameter to the mail() function or to sendmail command. Help Please help. What do I need to change? Should I just start over in the sendmail.mc file? It has a ton of config options stuffed in it, over days of trying things. Why is changing the envelope "from" address via the command line generating a "User unknown" error?

• Corosync :: Restarting some resources after Lan connectivity issue

  I am currently looking into corosync to build a two-node cluster. So, I've got it working fine, and it does what I want to do, which is: Lost connectivity between the two nodes gives the first node '10node' both Failover Wan IPs. (aka resources WanCluster100 and WanCluster101 ) '11node' does nothing. He "thinks" he still has his Failover Wan IP. (aka WanCluster101) But it doesn't do this: '11node' should restart the WanCluster101 resource when the connectivity with the other node is back. This is to prevent a condition where node10 simply dies (and thus does not get 11node's Failover Wan IP), resulting in a situation where none of the nodes have 10node's failover IP because 10node is down 11node has "given back" his failover Wan IP.   I have setup Postfix and Dovecot on an Ubuntu box following the instructions http://www.exratione.com/2012/05/a-mailserver-on-ubuntu-1204-postfix-dovecot-mysql/ I can see that email is being delivered to and accepted by the server, but the email is not available for retrieval via POP3. What could be missing in my configuraton? It seems that email is not being properly handed off to Dovecot. • Why my events aren't registered after postback?

  I have a problem where I have a page with a checkbox : <asp:CheckBox runat="server" ID="chkSelectAll" OnCheckedChanged="chkSelectAll_CheckedChanged" EnableViewState="true" Text='<%# CommonFunctions.GetText(Page, "CreateTask", "chkSelectAll.text") %>' AutoPostBack="true" /> First I had the problem that when the event was raised the checkbox wasn't keeping the checked property value. This is still strange because nowhere in the application we set the EnableViewState to false and by default it should be true. Well this behavior was fixed by puting EnableViewState="true". So now, I have a checkbox that when I first load the page, wworks correctly. I check the box, the event is raised Checked property valu is good and the method is executed. Postback completes and renders the page. I check the box back to false, the event is not triggered and the page is reloaded with the previous data but the Checked Property stays at true. So after the first postback I seem to loose behavior of event and ViewState. We suspect the fact that we move dynamically the controls in the page (See answer here) But this suspicion doesn't explain why everything works perfectly after the first load and stops working after first PostBack. EDIT CODE SAMPLE I created a test project where you can experience my problem. At load if you check any checkbox both raise their respective event. After postback only the second raise both events. I seem to have a problem when I register the events after moving control.

• Compiling gstreamer plugin in windows

  Hello all, My question: What is the correct way to compile a gstreamer plugin in windows, so that it will be accepted by gstreamer (actually Songbird on top of gstreamer). My setup: I have downloaded the songbird sources following the steps described here and I have a trunk/dependencies/windows-i686-msvc8 directory within my svn sources with all the gstreamer binaries. I have created a gstreamer empty plugin skeleton following the steps detailed in the GStreamer Plugin Writer's Guide, and compiled it against the gstreamer binaries in the Songbird dependencies folder. The compilation was done with VS2010 RC1 (Visual Studio 2008 yelded the same results), using an empty DLL project with the .h and .c files generated using the GStreamer Plugin Writer's Guide. The DLL was lined with libcpmt.lib, libcmt.lib, ws2_32.lib, gobject-2.0.lib, gthread-2.0.lib, gstreamer-0.10-0.lib, glib-2.0.lib, kernel32.lib, nspr4.lib and ignoring all default libraries. I have compiled the files as both .c and .cpp with the same results. Testing: I have installed the Songbird binaries corresponding to the correct svn version, then installed Songbird Developer Tools addon and used it to create an addon for testing my gstreamer plugin. Songbird will not load the pluggin. I have also tried to load it with gst-launch.exe from the trunk/dependencies/windows-i686-msvc8/[...] directory and that generated runtime error R6034: An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Most resources I found for this problem recommended restarting or reinstalling windows :(.

My problem is i am calculating beats per minute of song.I used Bass api for that, now problem is i am able to get bpm of a file which i have in my resource folder but i have to get bpm of all songs of iPod library. I am getting path of song from MPMediaItemPropertyAssetURL property of MpMediaItem but when passing this one in api api is saying stream cant load BASS_StreamCreateFile(). In my point of view i am not getting right path of song. How can we access valid path? Did any one access ipod library song with external api? Please help me . • Visual Studio 2010: very slow web applications debugging!

  I recently installed Visual Studio 2010 (Ultimate edition, final version released in April), and found that debugging a web application became very slow (2-3 times slower than in Visual Studio 2008)! I took the same web application and checked the speed of loading of one of its pages in VS 2008 and VS 2010, and compared the time it takes to load the page. I tested it using 2 approaches: 1) debugging under ASP.NET Development Server (by pressing the "Start" button) and 2) using ASP.NET Development Server without debugging (by using the "View in Browser" menu command). And I got the following results for Visual Studio 2008 and 2010. 1) ASP.NET Development Server withoud debugging ("View in Browser"): the speed of page loading is the same in VS 2008 and 2010. 2) Debugging under ASP.NET Development Server ("Start" button): in VS 2010 the page takes more time to load than in VS 2008 - VS 2010 debugging is 2-3 times slower than in VS 2008! 3) At the same time, when debugging a web application in VS 2008, it takes the same time to load the page compared to when using only the "View in Browser" command. That is, VS 2008 debugging does not introduce any overhead to page loading in the web browser! I wanted to make sure that other people have the same problem with slow debugging of web applications in VS 2010. Can this issue be solved by any means? BTW, I am using Windows XP SP3. Thank you.

• Weird Qt SSL issue -- error "No Error" shows up, nothing else, and if I ignore it, everything works

  The issue is as follows : in my Qt app, I have a QWebView, which I use to load a HTTPS page. Everything worked fine on my development machine, so I'm now trying to get it to run on a test machine. I ran the app, but the page didn't load (the QWebView was blank). After much debugging, I found the problem is that an SSL error shows up, and the sslErrors() signal is fired. Here is my sslErrors() handling code: void blah::sslErrors(QNetworkReply *reply, const QList<QSslError> &errors) { foreach(QSslError error, errors) { qDebug() << error.errorString() << endl; } reply->ignoreSslErrors(); } The only thing the above code prints is: "No error" So there's no error, but unless I call reply->ignoreSslErrors(), the page doesn't load (on the test machine, on my developer computer no error is reported). Huh? Is this a bug? Is it safe to ignore the error, if I make sure it's of the type "No error"?

• Can I use my Ninject .NET project within Orchard CMS?

I know that Orchard uses Autofac for dependency injection and this is causing me problems since I never worked with DI before. • The Classic jQuery Tabs with Bing Maps Issue

  Hello, I know that there are multiple issues with jQuery Tabs and using Maps. And I have seen the multiple fixes and I am half-way there. But I have the most obscure issue and hoping that someone might understand why. This is my code for the tabs $("#contactTabs").tabs({ spinner: 'Loading <img src="../images/icons/ajax-loader.gif" />' }); $('#contactTabs').bind('tabsshow', function(event, ui) { if (ui.panel.id == "Map") { GetMap(); } }); Which currently does not work. But I was doing some testing and added in an ALERT() to see if the "GetMap()" was even attempting to be loaded... so this was the code that I tested with, and it works just fine. $("#contactTabs").tabs({ spinner: 'Loading <img src="../images/icons/ajax-loader.gif" />' }); $('#contactTabs').bind('tabsshow', function(event, ui) { if (ui.panel.id == "Map") { alert("load map"); GetMap(); } }); So I haven't a clue why adding the ALERT() causes the map to load and removing the ALERT just doesn't load the map at all.
