  • Multiple View application and Navigation Bar

    Hi. I'm working in a iphone view-based application. The application works this way: First view is a welcome view with buttons for load other views. Second view is a map that shows the location using gps. Third view is a search engine that loads some information to show on the map and on a list (This has two button to load map or table). Fourth view is a table view that shows the results and then loads the detail on another view and load a web site on another view. My problem is with this view, because i don't know how can implement a navigation bar in this view that loads the detail and the web view. Thanks for your help. Byron H.

    I have the following GNU makefile: .PHONY a b c d a: b c b: d c: d d: echo HI I would like the target 'd' to be run twice -- since it is specified as a dependency by both b & c. Unfortunately, the target 'd' will be executed only once. The output of running make will simply be 'HI', instead of 'HI HI'. How can I fix this? Thanks!     I'm using Jetty (version 6.1.22) to service a Java web application. I would like to make Jetty look in two different folders for web resources. Take this layout: +- project1 | +- src | +- main | +- webapp | +- first.jsp | +- project2 +- src +- main +- webapp +- second.jsp I would like to make Jetty serve both URLs: http://localhost/web/first.jsp http://localhost/web/second.jsp I tried starting Jetty like this: Server server = new Server(); SocketConnector connector = new SocketConnector(); connector.setPort(80); server.setConnectors(new Connector[] { connector }); WebAppContext contextWeb1 = new WebAppContext(); contextWeb1.setContextPath("/web"); contextWeb1.setWar("project1/src/main/webapp"); server.addHandler(contextWeb1); WebAppContext contextWeb2 = new WebAppContext(); contextWeb2.setContextPath("/web"); contextWeb2.setWar("project2/src/main/webapp"); server.addHandler(contextWeb2); server.start(); But it only serves first.jsp, and it returns 404 for second.jsp.     Hi I need to read different values stored in a file one by one. So I was thinking I can use ifstream to open the file, but since the file is set up in such a way that a line might contain three numbers, and the other line one number or two numbers I'm not sure how to read each number one by one. I was thinking of using stringstream but I'm not sure if that would work. The file is a format like this. 52500.00 64029.50 56000.00 65500.00 53780.00 77300.00 44000.50 80100.20 90000.00 41000.00 60500.50 72000.00 I need to read each number and store it in a vector. What is the best way to accomplish this? Reading one number at a time even though each line contains a different amount of numbers?

    I've got some models set up like this: class AppGroup(models.Model): users = models.ManyToManyField(User) class Notification(models.Model): groups_to_notify = models.ManyToManyField(AppGroup) The User objects come from django's authentication system. Now, I am trying to get all the notifications pertaining to the groups that the current user is a part of. I have tried.. notifications = Notification.objects.filter(groups_to_notify=AppGroup.objects.filter(users=request.user)) But that gives an error: more than one row returned by a subquery used as an expression Which I suppose is because the groups_to_notify is checking against several groups. How can I grab all the notifications meant for the user based on the groups he is a part of?

    I have a Card model that has many Sets and a Set model that has many Cards through a Membership model: class Card < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :memberships has_many :sets, :through => :memberships end class Membership < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :card belongs_to :set validates_uniqueness_of :card_id, :scope => :set_id end class Set < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :memberships has_many :cards, :through => :memberships validates_presence_of :cards end I also have some sub-classes of the above using Single Table Inheritance: class FooCard < Card end class BarCard < Card end and class Expansion < Set end class GameSet < Set validates_size_of :cards, :is => 10 end All of the above is working as I intend. What I'm trying to figure out is how to validate that a Card can only belong to a single Expansion. I want the following to be invalid: some_cards = FooCard.all( :limit => 25 ) first_expansion = Expansion.new second_expansion = Expansion.new first_expansion.cards = some_cards second_expansion.cards = some_cards first_expansion.save # Valid second_expansion.save # **Should be invalid** However, GameSets should allow this behavior: other_cards = FooCard.all( :limit => 10 ) first_set = GameSet.new second_set = GameSet.new first_set.cards = other_cards # Valid second_set.cards = other_cards # Also valid I'm guessing that a validates_uniqueness_of call is needed somewhere, but I'm not sure where to put it. Any suggestions? UPDATE 1 I modified the Expansion class as sugested: class Expansion < Set validate :validates_uniqueness_of_cards def validates_uniqueness_of_cards membership = Membership.find( :first, :include => :set, :conditions => [ "card_id IN (?) AND sets.type = ?", self.cards.map(&:id), "Expansion" ] ) errors.add_to_base("a Card can only belong to a single Expansion") unless membership.nil? end end This works when creating initial expansions to validate that no current expansions contain the cards. However, this (falsely) invalidates future updates to the expansion with new cards. In other words: old_exp = Expansion.find(1) old_exp.card_ids # returns [1,2,3,4,5] new_exp = Expansion.new new_exp.card_ids = [6,7,8,9,10] new_exp.save # returns true new_exp.card_ids << [11,12] # no other Expansion contains these cards new_exp.valid? # returns false ... SHOULD be true

    I'm wanting to be able to create a banner of floating images based on what are uploaded via users. The tool needs to have images of 50x50 and 100x100. At the moment, I just want to randomly display the images and tried to apply float:left. However, as you can see below - it leaves gaps. Is there an easy way to do this without programatically positioning the images?   • one key multiple values from different sources c#

    I am trying to make a c# program that will compare two files for me, and tell me the differences of specific parts. I have been able to get the parts I need into variables while looping through, but I now want to add these to a key with 3 values per file, so a key with 6 values overall which I will then compare to eachother later on. But I can only add 3 values at a time using the loop I have, so I need to be able to add the last 3 values to the key without overwriting the first 3. example of data from file: [\Advanced\Rules\Correlation Rules\Suspect_portscan\]; CheckDescription =S Detect Port scans; Enabled =B 0; Priority =L 3; I have managed to get what I need into variables so I have: string SigName would be "Suspect_portscan" Int Enabled, Priority, Blocking as 0 3 and null respectivly. I then want to make a dictionary type thing, with a key which would be the SigName and the first 3 values as enabled, priority, blocking. Then when looping through the second file, I want to add the 2nd files settings for the enabled, priority, blocking for the same SigName (so to the key) in the last 3 value slots. I will then compare this against itself, like 'if signame(0) != signame(3)' so if file 1 enabled is not the same as file two enabled make a note and tell me. But the problem I have is not being able to get the data into a dictionary or lookup, I'm completely stumped. It seems like I should use a dictionary with a list for the values but I cant get it working on the second loop through. Thanks.

Home is always unique to the person. But my DBMS doesn't know that. Is there an easy way around this problem? Appreciate it.

    I have an unordered list, and am using jquery to find the last ul and apply a class. jQuery("ul.class1:last").addClass("lastUi"); The html is as follows: <ul class="class1"></ul> <ul class="class1"></ul> This is working fine, however it has now changed in that another class is being added to the list so the html looks like: <ul class="class1"></ul> <ul class="class1 class2"></ul> <ul class="class1"></ul> <ul class="class1 class2"></ul> The jQuery code is now not picking up the last ul with both class1 and class2 as the last element and isn't adding the lastUI class.

    I have a web application made for several groups of people not connected with each other. Instead of using one database for all of them, I'm thinking about making separate databases. This will improve the speed of the queries and make me free from checking to what group the user belongs. But since I'm working with LINQ to SQL, my classes are explicitly connected with the databases, so I will have to make separate DataContexts for all of the databases. So how can I solve this problem? Or should I just not bother and use one database only?

    I'm trying to store a blooming season in month for each tree in SQLite3. Currently I had the field "month" then I store the month name in the field. Secondly, I need to perform a query where I enter in the month and it should return me the tree name that match the search criteria. For example If I search for "Jan" the result should be Tree1,Tree2,Tree3,Tree5 "Jan,Feb,Mar" the result should be Tree1,Tree3,Tree5 "Jan,Feb,Mar,Apr" the result should be Tree5 "Sep,Oct,Nov,Dec" the result should be none Which SQL query do I have to use in order to obtain the above result?   • Smallcaps / multiple fonts and bolding using 'DrawString' in GDI+

    I want to write out some text using smallcaps in combination with different fonts for different words. To clarify I might want the message 'Welcome to our New Website' which is generated into a PNG file for the header of a page. The text will be smallcaps - everything is capitalized but the 'W', 'N' and 'W' are slightly larger. The 'New Website' will be in a different font than the rest of the text. Is there a way i can do this without doing it completely manually? Doing something like this is conceptually what I want to do : graphics.DrawString("<font size=2>W</font>ELCOME TO OUR <b><font size=2>N</font>" + "EW <font size=2>W</font>EBSITE</b>"); The best approach I could find so far is here, but I'm worried that I'll go to all the trouble to do this manually and end up with some horrible kerning or tracking problems. Edit: I should have mentioned that this is being done within ASP.NET so it needs to be fast and as lean as possible. I want it to be automated so I can localize easily and not have to create tonnes of little images.
