  • 450 Error with Postfix

    I have setup postfix to send outgoing mail, It works fine for most of the cases except for some e.g duke.alumni.edu where it gives me a 450 error, even though the email address is valid. This is the exact error I get Sender address rejected: Domain not found (in reply to RCPT TO command)) Any suggestions on how I can rectify this?

  • Open Web Page in Windows Server 2008 R2 runs forever

    I have a number of scheduled tasks which simply open a web page in Windows Server 2008 R2. They used to run and end without abending, but now they open and stay open and I have to setup the task to quit them by force before their next scheduled run. I've thought about installing CURL or WGET, but is there a way to do this with R2 without going to that step? Regards.

  • Windows 7 VPN stops web browser

    Hi, I've just installed Windows 7 RTM and setup Windows VPN to work office. It all works fine except, when the VPN is connected, regular web access stops working eg: local web browser can't connect to anything. Disconnect VPN and web works again. I've tried re-ordering the priorities of network adaptors with no luck. I'm not sure where to look next. Any ideas? Brad

  • Will not POST with a USB mouse or keyboard plugged in

    I have an Abit KN9 motherboard, and a USB keyboard and mouse. The computer will not POST with the keyboard or mouse plugged in, but they can be used (and they are fully functional) if you plug them in later, after POST. On the POST side of things, it hangs when it shows the installed processor, and goes no further - pressing DEL to go to setup will not work. I've tried disabling legacy USB support as recommended, but can't find the option anywhere in the BIOS.

    Does it work to have like an MySQL (or any other relational database) on the GFS (with DRBD) and have multiple nodes reading and writing to it? Is that the "best" way of providing a HA database/application setup if so? Is RHEL (cluster suite) a good way to set up this? (or centos)

  • Is the port number the same when connecting to git via the git+ssh protocol?

    Hi all. I was wondering when connecting to a git repository, does the git+ssh protocol use the same port number as just using the git protocol. For example: git://example.com/git/helloworld git+ssh://[email protected]/git/helloworld I am trying to push to a remote repository that has port forwarding setup on only the git protocol port number (9418) using EGit. When I try and use the git+ssh, EGit tells me git+ssh://.... connection is closed by foreign host Thanks, Tomek

Is it still available?, and if not was there something setup in place to replace it? How do I use it?

  • Routing table with two NIC adapters in libvirt/KVM

    I created a virtual NAT network (192.168.100.0/24 network) in my libvirt and new guest with two interfaces - one in this network, one as bridged (10.34.1.0/24 network) to the local LAN. The reason for that is I need to have my own virtual network for my DHCP/TFTP/DNS testing and still want to access my guest externally from my LAN. On both networks I have working DHCP, both giving them IP addresses. When I setup NAT port forwarding (e.g. for ssh), I can connect to the eth0 (virtual network), everything is fine. But when I try to access the eth1 via bridged interface, I have no response. I guess I have problem with my routing table - outgoing packets are routed to the virtual NAT network (which has access to the machine I am connecting from - I can ping it). But I am not sure if this setup is correct.     I tried to install Agnitum Outpost firewall, but the setup hung while installing network drivers.   • Directly printing to remote CUPS/IPP server on Snow Leopard

    I need to use Kerberos authentication when printing from my OSX machine, however, the machine itself does not have a service account in active directory, so the KDC will not issue a delegation ticket for the local CUPS installation. I think printing could work if the printing framework would directly print to the network CUPS server (or even to the Windows print server), bypassing the local CUPS. Is it possible to setup printing so that it directly accesses the remote print server? (asking for a service ticket for that server would succeed)

    I tried to install an OpenVPN access server in Centos 6 on a linode VPS. The installation error occours when adding the user "openvpn". However, the installation is okay for my ubuntu 11.10 distro in another VPS. The error message is "useradd: canot open /etc/passwd" The detail of My "/etc/passwd" file: "-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1194 Oct 9 00:33 /etc/passwd" So how can I add the user "openvpn" to setup the VPN service?   • How do you configure Tomcat to allow dynamically added hosts?

    Is there a way to setup apache and tomcat so that I can have d1.webapp.com d2.webapp.com d3.webapp.com etc. All hosted by the same tomcat instance without having to add aliases to the HOSTS element in the tomcat config file? I will be allowing new users to have thier own domain when they sign up and it will be a subdomain of the web app. I don't want to keep updating the hosts file for aliases and restarting tomcat though each time a new user signs up?

  • Multiple virtual VLAN interfaces on single NIC (Debian)

    I'm trying to setup multiple virtual interfaces with VLAN's on a single NIC. I'm running Debian Squeeze. Currently this is my /etc/netowrk/interfaces auto eth0.10 iface eth0.10 inet dhcp This gives me a working connection, however I'm not sure how to configure several like these on a single NIC so I can use multiple external IP's. I have tried aliasing the VLAN's like so: iface eth0.10:1 But that was not successful and it said failed to bring up interface. And suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

  • How do I login once I promote my Windows Server 2012 to domain controller in my Amazon VPC?

    I am following this guide: http://d36cz9buwru1tt.cloudfront.net/pdf/EC2_AD_How_to.pdf to setup my domain controller. I get AD installed correctly, but when I do the promotion to DC, the server restarts and when I try to access it, I am unable to login using any of the local system accounts. I even created my own separate user account, but that did not help. I made sure to disable the amazon settings for renaming the machine, the machine has a static ip and has been renamed.

  • Idiomatic way to read .env variables in Ansible?

    I'm provisioning a Vagrant box with Ansible, and using Benno Joy's MySQL role to setup MySQL (including creating a database and users.) The database name and credentials are stored in a .env file in the project's root. What would be the idiomatic way to use these variables when provisioning MySQL? Should I write a custom script that generates a YAML file from my .env, and then use the include_vars module? Or is there a simpler way?
