    I've tried using the following commands to download the ctrl alt del comics. $ for filename in $(seq 20021023 20100503); do wget http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/comics/"$filename".jpg; done I get the following error code, "bash: syntax error near unexpected token 'do'" I've also tried using cURL, using this command, curl http://ctrlaltdel-online.com/comics[20021023..20100503].jpg I get the following error code, "curl: (3) [globbing] error: bad range specification after pos 37" Any help would be great.

  • Select JavaHelp topic in TOC when using setCurrentID

    When I use HelpBroker.setCurrentID("[some help id]"), JavaHelp correctly shows the page I want but the associated topic is not automatically selected/highlighted in the table of contents. This makes it difficult for a user to know where in the topic tree the current page is located. Is there any way to programmatically highlight the current topic in the TOC when I use a HelpBroker to navigate to a specific Help page? Note that when the user follows links within the Java help system, the new topic is properly selected in the table of contents.

  • Performance of tokenizing CSS in PHP

    This is a noob question from someone who hasn't written a parser/lexer ever before. I'm writing a tokenizer/parser for CSS in PHP (please don't repeat with 'OMG, why in PHP?'). The syntax is written down by the W3C neatly here (CSS2.1) and here (CSS3, draft). It's a list of 21 possible tokens, that all (but two) cannot be represented as static strings. My current approach is to loop through an array containing the 21 patterns over and over again, do an if (preg_match()) and reduce the source string match by match. In principle this works really good. However, for a 1000 lines CSS string this takes something between 2 and 8 seconds, which is too much for my project. Now I'm banging my head how other parsers tokenize and parse CSS in fractions of seconds. OK, C is always faster than PHP, but nonetheless, are there any obvious D'Oh! s that I fell into? I made some optimizations, like checking for '@', '#' or '"' as the first char of the remaining string and applying only the relevant regexp then, but this hadn't brought any great performance boosts. Apparently Iterative deepening has the same memory usage as DFS, but I am unable to see how this is possible, as it just keeps expanding like BFS. Basically its a program in Java or PHP that takes a URL as input and outputs the DOM tree which is similar to the output in Firebug HTML window. The best example is Kayak.com where you can not see the resulting DOM displayed on the browser when you 'view source' but can save the resulting HTML though firebug.

  • Komodo Double Indentation with Tab

    In Komodo Edit, if I name the file *.django.html it gives me django syntax highlighting BUT it also indents with a tab character (8 spaces) instead of giving me the usual 4 space indent. How can I fix this? I've tried changing the value in Edit Preferences Editor Indentation Language Settings, but that seems to have no effect on it. The indentation works as normal (4 spaces) if I'm using any other extension (.py, .html, etc.). Ideas?

I tried to import PhoneGap example files like from there (I use Qt-creator coz when I try to do it on Carbide, as described, it said that my EPOCROOT is wrong, but it isn't). When I want to debug or run project it said that there is no some files, but i see them in files-tree (look). Any dieas what's going on?

    Hi, I would do something like this* select * from cars_table where body not equal to null. select * from cars_table where values not equal to null And id = "3" I know the syntax for 'not equal' is <, but i get an empty results. For the second part, I want to get a result set where it only returns the columns that have a value. So, if the value is null, then don't include that column. Thanks

    Is there a conversion utility from svn to hg that can deal with a branch hierarchy that's more complex than just a flat list of branches under /branches? My repository has a directory that looks (conceptually) like this: /branches /projectA /v1.x /v1.1 /v1.2 etc.. IOW I need a tool that can get a tree structure as input that represents the branch hierarchy, and migrate this into hg (could be flat in HG, don't really care).

Every time I've tried to learn a language and stuff by looking through tutorials or books I'd never get past the part where I use the syntax to make something. And by interest, I mean that I read stack overflow a lot, coding horror, and stuff but the actual coding part is hard for me to get into. Did anybody start this way? How did you get past this block?
