  • git-svn on Windows. Where to get binaries?

    - by divo
Hi, I want to use git as a local repository against a remote SVN repository. I installed version 1.6.0.2 from http://code.google.com/p/msysgit/downloads/list. According to the documentation synchronization is done via the command git svn or a separate command wrapper called git-svn Neither of them is available in my installation and I could not find a separate download for Windows binaries. I'm currenty using the MSYS build. Must I switch to cygwin?

  • QTreeView incorrectly displays the SpinBox if item is checkable and when using QWindowsStyle

    - by Sharraz
Hello, I'm having a problem with a QTreeView in my program: The SpinBox used to edit the double value of a checkable item is displayed incorrectly when using the Windows style. Only the up and down buttons of the SpinBox can be seen, but not any value. The following example code is able to reproduce the problem: #include <QtGui> class Model : public QAbstractItemModel { public: Model() : checked(false), number(0) {} Qt::ItemFlags flags(const QModelIndex & index) const { return Qt::ItemIsEnabled | Qt::ItemIsEditable | Qt::ItemIsSelectable | Qt::ItemIsUserCheckable; } QVariant data(const QModelIndex &index, int role) const { switch (role) { case Qt::DisplayRole: case Qt::EditRole: return QVariant(number); case Qt::CheckStateRole: return QVariant(checked ? Qt::Checked : Qt::Unchecked); } return QVariant(); } QVariant headerData(int section, Qt::Orientation orientation, int role) const { return QVariant(); } int rowCount(const QModelIndex &parent) const { return parent.isValid() ? 0 : 1; } int columnCount(const QModelIndex &parent) const { return parent.isValid() ? 0 : 1; } bool setData(const QModelIndex &index, const QVariant &value, int role) { switch (role) { case Qt::EditRole: number = value.toDouble(); emit dataChanged(index, index); return true; case Qt::CheckStateRole: checked = value.toInt(); emit dataChanged(index, index); return true; } return false; } QModelIndex index(int row, int column, const QModelIndex &parent) const { if (!row && !column && !parent.isValid()) return createIndex(0, 0); return QModelIndex(); } QModelIndex parent(const QModelIndex &child) const { return QModelIndex(); } private: bool checked; double number; }; int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { QApplication app(argc, argv); QApplication::setStyle(new QWindowsStyle()); QTreeView tree; tree.setModel(new Model()); tree.show(); return app.exec(); } The problems seems to have something to do with the checkbox. If Qt::ItemIsUserCheckable is removed, the SpinBox will be displayed correctly. If the number is replaced by a longer one like 0.01, it can be seen partially. Any idea how this problem can be solved? Do I use the checkbox correctly? Greets, Sharraz

  • Having multiple 'sets' of open files in Netbeans

    - by edorian
I'd like to be able to have multiple "sets" of open files in netbeans but i didn't find a way or plugin to do it. • Help with a cryptic error message with KGDB - Bogus trace status reply from target: E22

    - by fortran
Hi, I'm using gdb to connect to a 2.6.31.13 linux kernel patched with KGDB over Ethernet, and when I try to detach the debugger I get this: (gdb) quit A debugging session is active. Inferior 1 [Remote target] will be killed. Quit anyway? (y or n) y Bogus trace status reply from target: E22 after that the session is still open, I can keep going on and on with ctrl+d, and the debugger doesn't exit. I've searched for that message in google and there are just 5 results (and none of them are useful :-/ ). Any idea of what could it be and how to fix it?

  • Detect pointer arithmetics because of LARGEADDRESSAWARE

    - by Suma
I would like to switch my application to LARGEADDRESSAWARE. One of issues to watch for is pointer arithmetic, as pointer difference can no longer be represented as signed 32b. Is there some way how to find automatically all instances of pointer subtraction in a large C++ project? If not, is there some "least effort" manual or semi-automatic method how to achieve this?

  • Changing image domain / path in css for production?

    - by Neil
Currently, for things like background images, our css files have no domain specified. This works both in our development and production environments. background-image: url(/images/bg.png); For performance reasons (cookie-less domain), we'd like to switch this: background-image: url(http://staticimagedomain.com/images/bg.png); Ideally, we don't hard code those, so our development environments can still pull locally. Any thoughts on how to best achieve this?

  • Prevent <xsi:nil="true"> on Nullable Value Types when Serializing to XML.

    - by Nat Ryall
I have added some nullable value types to my serializable class. I perform a serialization using XmlSerializer but when the value is set to null, I get an empty node with xsi:nil="true". This is the correct behaviour as I have found here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ybce7f69%28VS.80%29.aspx Is there a way to switch off this option so that nothing is output when the value type is null?

  • Where can I download an SBT 0.13 snapshot package?

    - by Ivan
Being stuck with a scala 2.9 compiler bug I've decided to try moving to Scala 2.10 RC. As a part of the switch I was trying to install SBT 0.13 snapshot. The official web page lists a broken link: http://scalasbt.artifactoryonline.com/scalasbt/sbt-native-packages/org/scala-sbt/sbt//0.13.0-SNAPSHOT/sbt.tgz There is nothing about 0.13 in the directory, the link gives Error 404. Any ideas about where to get the file?

  • Special functions in Matlab

    - by favala
I'm trying to get a picture like the following: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e6/Airy-3d.svg What am I doing wrong? [x,y]=meshgrid(-1:.1:1,-1:.1:1); surf(x,y,(2*besselj(1,2*pi*sqrt(x.^2+ y.^2)/sqrt(x.^2+ y.^2)).^2) Also... kind of a side note, but if I used ndgrid instead of meshgrid here my x's and y's would switch right?

Have no apache experience Example redirect: Redirect 301 /pages/exhibitions/thegreatindoors.html http://www.klassnik.com/pages/thegreatindoors.html Read a lot about mod rewrites etc but not sure what to write. • When will a TCP network packet be fragmented at the application layer?

    - by zooropa
When will a TCP packet be fragmented at the application layer? When a TCP packet is sent from an application, will the recipient at the application layer ever receive the packet in two or more packets? If so, what conditions cause the packet to be divided. It seems like a packet won't be fragmented until it reaches the Ethernet (at the network layer) limit of 1500 bytes. But, that fragmentation will be transparent to the recipient at the application layer since the network layer will reassemble the fragments before sending the packet up to the next layer, right?

  • Finding subtitute pluggin (After Switching from Notepad++ to Netbeans 6.8)

    - by justjoe
i would like to ask about some Notepad++ feature that i couldn't find in netbeans. And this feature is somehow really helpful. It's called 'function list' created by Jens Lorenz. this feature will list all of declared function in a PHP files. So, is there any subtitute plugin that i can use to smooth my migration from Notepad++ to Netbeans ? the main reason i switch is for svn, Phpdoc-support, and easiness maintaining medium-size web project.

  • Obtaining memory available to JVM at runtime

    - by Bo Tian
I'm trying to sort a bunch of data such that that the size of data input to the program can be larger than the memory available to the JVM, and handling that requires external sort which is much slower than Quicksort. Is there any way of obtaining memory available to the JVM at runtime such that I could use in place sorting as much as possible, and only switch to Mergesort when data input is too large?
