    How can I snuggle into another process? Like, share another process's name? So if my application is griddemo.exe, and I want to snug into, let's say, explorer.exe, is that possible?     How can I specify a cipher suite to use in an SSL Connections? I know that Mentalis Seclib got this feature however they don't maintain the project as they say .NET Framework 2.0 introduced those features. However I couldn't find a way to do this in .NET Framework 3.5. To be more specific I want to connect an HTTPS service by using NULL cipher, I would do the same thing with OpenSSL by using the following command: openssl s_client -connect www.example.com:443 -cipher NULL How can I do this in .NET?

    Say I have a MATLAB object defined in a class file classdef foo properties bar end end And I create a foo object myfoo = foo(); Now I want to add another field to foo dynamically. What I want is foo.newfield = 42; but this will throw an error. I know there is a way to dynamically add a field/property to a MATLAB object but I can't remember it or find it easily in the help.     I have heard developers say that people who write code should not be the ones testing it. I am looking for peoples experience in this situation. Many times I have done my share of development, then released to the QA dept and had the code sent back to me becuase some aspect of the application was broken due to my coding, regardless of how much I had tested it prior to QA release. Does anyone on this board have a process to follow, that enables them to throughly test their code before releasing to QA?

  • Is it a good idea to mock/stub in integration tests?

    Say there are multiple requests in a integration test, some of them are sphinx calls(locator for example). Should we just stub out the entire response of these sphinx call, or, since it is a integration test, we want to excise the entire test without stubbing. If that is the case, how do we still keep test independent in the situation when sphinx fails, no internet connection, or third party server non-responsive. Give reasons. Thanks

    i'm not interested in changing the actual icon in the EXE that shows up in windows explorer, but just the icon that shows up in the top left of the console window. Already i set the icon in the visual studio project and i'm getting it nicely in windows explorer, and also that icon is showing up in the console window, i just want to be able to change it in the console windows at runtime. I.e lets say i wanted to put an icon that shows there are new emails or something.
