  • Optional Navigation Controller

    I have an application containing a variety of view controllers linked together in different ways (Welcome Browse Preview OR Browse Preview OR Settings Splash). The first view controller is presented modally using a navigation controller from a main controller, then the next set of view controllers are added using pop and push. This works correctly, but I need to be able to define my 'UINavigationBar' and 'UIToolbar' within interface builder, so they still work as expected if they are presented without using a navigation controller. Is this possible? Currently I get this if I try:

  • Zend Framework 1.1 Modules setup

    i used zend_tool to setup a project then to create module blog with index controller etc but i guess the default config setup by zend_tool does not work with modules so i edited it resources.frontController.moduleDirectory = APPLICATION_PATH "/modules" resources.frontController.moduleDirectoryControllerName = "controllers" i guess these are required for modules? also i moved the folders, controllers, models, views into the modules/ folder but i get a blank screen when i try to go to http://servername which shld load Default module's index controller and action. even if i try to go http://servername/nonexistentpage it also shows a blank screen instead of a 404

  • Remove Chrome Loading Notification?

    I am working on a project that runs in Chrome in full-screen mode and displays data that can be edited and interacted with. It makes AJAX calls(using jQuery) frequently that cause a loading notification in the lower left-hand corner on the bottom of the screen to pop up. These notifications are distracting when you are viewing the display and I would like to remove/prevent Chrome from displaying these loading notifications at all. Is it possible to prevent these notification by any means, or perhaps even mask the javascript that causes these notifications?

  • Methods in Customized View did not get invoke in AppDelegate, Why?

    I want the methods pauseGame in customized UIView - MyGameView get invoked when the phone is locked or interrupted. So I have a pauseGame method but it can't stop the timer when user lock screen (command+L). The lock screen did appear but the game still running at the background. So I added the testPause method to MyGameView and MyGameAppDelegate and and put a breakpoint to debug it. When screen locked it, the screen lock appeared and the code did stop at the breakpoint. But when I tried to step into the testPause method, it didn't take me to the method in MyGameView (it just passed it, not skipped) and no message was printed on terminal by NSLog. Why?     Is there any guidance on creating apps that will run on both professional (touch-screen) and standard (non-touch-screen) devices. I have a simple application that is mostly text and buttons that in theory should be able to run on both professional and standard devices with little if any modification.
