• iPhone Safari Web Application not using cache at all?

  Hi, guys, I've been developing an iphone web application for a while, and encountered a weird problem: when open the web app in safari(with safari chrome, not starting it from home screen), safari can generate proper "If-Not-Modified-Since" and "If-None-Matches", so the server simply gives 304 Not Modified to speed up the process. however, when starting the app from home screen, safari seems to forget these two headers, and server always replies with 200 OK... any ideas for this?

• How do you return draggable content to their original positions in iPhone dev?

  I am wanting to create a button in my iPhone app that when touched will return other draggable elements to their original position. I have looked at the Apple "MoveMe' example, but that returns the button to the center of the screen. I want to be able to position draggable objects around the screen, drag the objects within the app, and then return them to their original starting positions by pressing a designated button. The default EditText size is too wide for me to show enough EditText controls on a screen, but I have been unable to figure out how to make them narrower. I have tried the following attributes in XML: android:maxLength="2" android:layout_width="20dip" android:maxWidth="20px" android:ems="2" android:maxEms="2".   I'm developing a touchscreen application that, aside from everything else, records the amount of times the screen is used so that the user can be reminded to clean the screen after a predefined number of clicks. I've got the click functions written nicely, all I need now is make sure the function is called on a click. I imagine $('*').click(function() { //do something }); would accomplish my goal, but is that the best way? Also, would that overwrite other click functions assigned to the elements?

• Eclipse question - panels don't get restored when double clicking

  You know how, in Eclipse, when you double click on a file tab (which shows the class name), the editor gets expanded to the whole screen minimizing other panels? Well normally I just double click again on the tab to restore everything, but all of the sudden double clicking again doesnt do anything (the editor remains in full screen and all other panels minimized)! I am not sure what I did to cause this. Any ideas how to get it back to normal? Thanks.

  I have a GWT tab panel and would like to reload a single tab when a certain event (e.g. button click) happens in another tab. Is there a way to do that? Another possibility would be executing some code (e.g. adding a new element to a tab) when that tab is selected. Any help would be really appreciated, I am stuck with this for a while already. To make the question more specific I am providing some code below. I have my code organized in screens, there is a home screen that initiates the tab panel. And there are separate screens for initiation of each tab.
