  • Bubbling up events . .

    I have multiple layers in an application and i find myself having to bubble up events to the GUI layer for doing status bar changes, etc . . I find myself having to write repeated coded where each layer simply subscribes to events from the lower layer and then in the call back simply raise an event up the chain. Is there a more efficient way of doing this?

From H i press exit button , it come to C screen . When again click on exit i go through me out of application. Why there is need to press 2 times exit button for exit application .     I want to access the virtual machine using powershell script. For that I used below script, Enter-PSSession -computername sheetal-VDD -credential compose04.com\abc.xyz1 where, sheetal-VDD is hostname of virtual machine compose04.com is the domain name of virtual machine and abc.xyz1 is the username of virtual machine After entering above command , it asks for password. When the password is entered I get below error, Enter-PSSession : Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : WinRM cannot process the reques t. The following error occured while using Kerberos authentication: There are currently no logon servers available to s ervice the logon request. Possible causes are: -The user name or password specified are invalid. -Kerberos is used when no authentication method and no user name are specified. -Kerberos accepts domain user names, but not local user names. -The Service Principal Name (SPN) for the remote computer name and port does not exist. -The client and remote computers are in different domains and there is no trust between the two domains. After checking for the above issues, try the following: -Check the Event Viewer for events related to authentication. -Change the authentication method; add the destination computer to the WinRM TrustedHosts configuration setting or us e HTTPS transport.   • Duplicate forwarded messages in Blackberry when using BIS

    Our Setup External email arrives at a Postfix server, is scanned, and then forwarded via settings in transport (using the RELAY:[{ip-address}] for a given address) to an Exchange 2007 server. Some users are on Exchange, but a few are still on the Postfix server (they will be moved in the near future). IMAPS is provided for external connections via Dovecot; in-house, IMAP is provided for the Gateway and native MAPI is used for Exchange/Outlook. Blackberries are connected via BIS, which uses Dovecot as a reverse-proxy IMAPS service to connect to Exchange (when the mailbox exists on Exchange, otherwise it connects to the mailbox on the gateway). The Issue We have a user that, when they forward an email on their Outlook client, they get a duplicate of the original message on their Blackberry. When I say duplicate, I mean that they have a copy of the forwarded version of the message (i.e. their version of the message that they obtained hitting the forward button), and a copy of the original message that shows up at the same time. The expected behavior is to just see the forwarded message, not the forwarded message and a 2nd copy of the original message. We've only seen this with Outlook users that also have a Blackberry. Other IMAP clients, such as OS X Mail or Thunderbird, do not exhibit this behavior when connecting to the Exchange server; forwarded messages work as expected. The Questions what is causing this to happen? why does it only affect Outlook/Blackberry setups, and not TBird/Blackberry or OSX-Mail/Blackberry? how do we get it to stop, before people go insane and never forward messages again?

  • exchange server 2010 with multiple domains

    i have one exchange server 2010, which is working fine with one domain. my exchange is working as follows pop3 collector collect emails from one master catchall account and then deliver to exchange server, this working perfect. now what i want to add another domain to same exchange, i have added new domain as trusted domain & email policy and this new domain email account works fine with internal emails. now what i have done, i again forward new email account to same catchall account. but if i send email from any other external email address email is bounce, i can see email receive by pop3 collector but bounce by exchange server. to make you more clear let me explain logic on which i am working. i have 2 domains 1. domain1.com ([email protected]) 2. domain2.com ([email protected] -->[email protected]) now on my machine with exchange server i have pop3 collector which collect all emails from [email protected] and forward to exchange 2010 server. all emails to domain1.com is working perfect but when i send email to [email protected] this email redirect to [email protected] perfectly but when exchanger server receive this email, it bounce. i have also study the url link text and follow the whole process but no success. i also check that my DNS/MX is working fine as the bounce message is going from my exchange server. EDIT the only problem is with accepted domain, as email come to exchange server then bounce back. i just try this today i create one user called test, then i goto his properties -- email there was only one email account [email protected] i try to send email to [email protected] from internet (email bounce) then again i go to test user properties -- email and Add one email [email protected] again u try to send email to t*[email protected]* from internet (email received) i think the only problem is with accepted domain but in hub transport , it shows accepted is there any way to check does domain is properly accepted or not in exchange 2010 server.   • Splitting a file before upload?

    On a webpage, is it possible to split large files into chunks before the file is uploaded to the server? For example, split a 10MB file into 1MB chunks, and upload one chunk at a time while showing a progress bar? It sounds like JavaScript doesn't have any file manipulation abilities, but what about Flash and Java applets? This would need to work in IE6+, Firefox and Chrome. Update: forgot to mention that (a) we are using Grails and (b) this needs to run over https.

  • Email Proxy Ideas

    Hi Everyone, I wish to host some managed email servers for some customers. Each customer will have their own email server which will be an all-in-one virtual machine running postfix, dovecot and some webmail suite. Even though each customer will have their own server, I do not wish to give each email server it's own public facing IP. I wish to avail the use of proxy servers so all customers use the same public IP. As for the "smtp-in" from the public internet, this isn't a problem as I can set up many mx servers (using postfix) which will store-and-forward the mail to the correct server (using transport maps). As for the IMAP access from the customer, I was thinking of using perdition which is an IMAP proxy - I believe that this will suit my needs. I am confused however on what to use for the "smtp-out" proxy. The customers will have to authenticate with their receptive email server, however they will have to go via a proxy of some sort as they won't have direct access to their server instance. It probably can't be a store-and-forward proxy either. Does anyone have any idea on what I could use here? Many Thanks
