    Hi, How I could able to add a toolbar to the picker? I want above the picker there is a toolbar with a "done" bar button item. clicking the "done" button will hide (animate) the picker offscreen (going to bottom like the keyboard) I'm still looking for this how-to...     base class: Class List(Of T) Function Contains(ByVal value As T) As Boolean derived class: Class Bar : List(Of Exception) ' Exception type as example ' Function Contains(Of U)(ByVal value As U) As Boolean compiler tells me that that two are the same, so I need to declare Overloads/new this second function. But I want use U to differentiate the type (one logic) like NullReferenceException, ArgumentNull Exception, etc. but want to leave the base function(no differentiation by type - other logic) as well.

  • Custom QAction/QMenu for mouse button detection

    I'm trying to create a popup menu, where I can detect the mouse button that was pressed for a given item. I've created a custom QAction already to build my QMenu, but the triggered signal when the menu item is pressed doesn't provide a QMouseEvent for me to query the button pressed. Also, I'm setting the a status tip for each QAction, which appears in the status bar when I mouse over it, but it stays even after I close the QMenu. Is this normal behavior?

  • Windows 7 system freezes: would like to know if they could be related to MrxSmb, Event ID 8003 errors

    First, this question centers around a home network. Is it okay to ask here? Or should I go to SuperUser? (I see less answers over there, but I'll go there if that would be more appropriate.) Network setup: 1 Machine running XP Pro 1 Machine running Win7 Ultimate Comcast router Linksys WRT610N Wireless router The Win7 machine goes into a total, unrecoverable system freeze frequently. I was tearing out my hair trying to ascertain a cause, but I noticed that it usually seems to correspond with performing operations on the shared folders on the XP machine. The last 2 occasions that the Win7 machine froze, I saw this entry for Event ID 8003 from source MrxSmb in the Event log of the XP machine: The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer WIN7_COMPUTER that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{320B32A7-FED9. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced. My question is twofold: Could this cause a Win7 system freeze? If so, what could I configure differently on my network to stop these conflicts over who is the master browser? Thank you for your help!

    I have a list which contains a number of things: lista = ['a', 'b', 'foo', 'c', 'd', 'e', 'bar'] I'd like to get the first item in the list that fulfils a predicate, say len(item) > 2. Is there a neater way to do it than itertools' dropwhile and next? first = next(itertools.dropwhile(lambda x: len(x) <= 2, lista)) I did use [item for item in lista if len(item)>2][0] at first, but that requires python to generate the entire list first.
