    Is there any way I can find the rank of a set of values in Microsoft Reports? For instance, in order to produce a table like the one below, what function/formula do I enter in the Rank column? +------+-----+ |Value | Rank| +------+-----+ | 12 | 3 | | 30 | 5 | | 5 | 1 | | 10 | 2 | | 24 | 4 | +------+-----+ Update Values in the value column are produced from calculations on the report-side so I cannot find the rank using a query.

  • iphone sqlite app startup issues

    Hi All, I have 4 database catalogues in my app, i will be switching the four catalogues. When i start the app, i read the NSUserDefaults and try to load the default catalogue in the memory, but in the first time this doesnt happen. Instead i get null values returned first time just because the DB connection is not successful for some unknown reason, the debugger is unable to go there too. But the app starts up the next time, the values are fetched successfully. Please help

    I am working on an app that has multiple tabs. In the first tab the user will enter values. In the other tabs it will display the results of calculations based off of those values.     When I submit my MVC Page I get an IvalidOperationException from System.Web.Mvc Controller object in the UpdateModel method. the MSDN documentation states that this method does the following: Updates the specified model instance using values from the controller's current value provider. Is the value provider referencing the current Request object? Or where exactly does it get the values that it is using to update the model? At the same time, I'm also doing many-to-many relationships, and so requiring unique values on either column of the tables that coordinate the relationships would hamper that. How can I define a primary key on a table such that any given value can be repeated in any column, so long as the combination of values across all columns is never repeated exactly?

    To get the seed and step values of an identity column in sql server i can use this syntax SELECT ColumnName = name, Seed = seed_value, Step = increment_value FROM sys.identity_columns So far in MySql i have found that if i use this syntax SELECT * FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES WHERE auto_increment IS NOT NULL I can at least find out which columns are an identity... The question being how can i get the SEED and STEP values of the identity column from the MySQL Schema.
