    I'm trying to use ExternalInterface.addCallback to allow js to call an as3 method. My code is as follows: AS: ExternalInterface.addCallback("sendToActionscript", callFromJavaScript); function callFromJavaScript():void{ circle_mc.gotoAndStop("finish"); } JS: Switch to square function callToActionscript() { flashController = document.getElementById("jstoactest") flashController.sendToActionscript(); } It's not working. What am I doing wrong?

  • How can I make my Google Maps api v3 address search bar work by hitting the enter button on the keyboard?

    I'm developing a webpage and I would just like to make something more user friendly. I have a functional Google Maps api v3 and an address search bar. Currently, I have to use the mouse to select search to initialize the geocoding function. How can I make the map return a placemark by hitting the enter button on my keyboard? I just want to make it as user-friendly as possible. The NSLog-s in the loop shows the numbers 3, 8, 2, 10, 40, also as expected. But here's the odd part: the last NSLog shows these numbers: 40, 10, 0, 8, 3, 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91 that is 40, 10, 0, 8, 3, and so on. It was not supposed to be a zero in there, it was supposed to be a 2.. Do you have any idea at why this is happening or a way to fix it? Thank you.

  • GCommit doesn't work with fugitive.vim under windows xp?

    I've just discovered fugitive.vim, which is pretty cool. However, I've run into a problem (this is using windows xp, msys git 1.7, fugitive.vim 1.1, and gvim 7.2). Adding files to the index and checking the status works just fine, but when I do a :GCommit, a command prompt flashes for a second and nothing happens. No way to type a commit message and nothing is committed. Is this a bug? Am I doing something wrong?

He will make some changes to some files that he do not wish to commit back to me (maybe stylesheets and images), but he will maybe implement a new feature that he would like to push back to my project. He should also be able to get new code from me, where he would like to get all new stuff. I've looked around, and it seams that Rebase is the way to go for him, to get updates from me, but how can he most easily push a feature back to me? (He is just learning Git, as well as me)

  • SVN files edited thru FTP, How do I fix the edited files so they work thru SVN again?

    Basically, a 3rd party analyst we brought on to make some improvements to our site decided to edit files directly on the live server threw FTP. Any time we make changes to those pages threw SVN we have PHP parse errors. Things should be edited threw the SVN and committed. We have our working copies setup so we can edit them how ever we want while having them running under apache for testing. We commit all of our changes to a local repository, then commit from there to the live server. The code on the live server that causes the parse error has " .mine" and " .rxxxx", and my question is, how can I revert those files back to before they were edited thru FTP so I can update them threw SVN again?

  • How does timezone really work in relation to PHP and MYSQL?

    I am getting very strange results in terms of timezones. I am currently using Wordpress and everytime I register a new user, I see the wrong datetime in the database. Ok so I am suspecting it is picking up the server time. So then I then set in php.ini to have date.timezone = "America/Los_Angeles" but again the time is still not correct in the database...And yes I have also set the timezone in Wordpress correctly. So how can this be done?

  • File uploads simply do not work - what could be wrong server side?

    This has been grinding my gears for at least a week now. I have a site which has a crucial function - the upload component. Without it, the site is completely useless. Now, lots of users have problems uploading files. This is why I implemented a log system that keeps track of what happens when the file is on the server. Problem is, only a minority of problems happen when the file is on the server, the problems happen client side. For example, when I tried SWFUpload the errors where 'I/O Error'. When I changed to Uploadify I get 'HTTP Error'. I am trying to get a more detailed error description as I type this. I am starting to think its not the client or the upload software, but the server. What could be wrong? The following directives for PHP are set: upload_max_filesize 200M post_max_size 200M memory_limit 256M max_execution_time 4200 max_input_time 4200 I simply have no clue why file uploads are failing. They should not fail. I would really appreciate any answers as why the uploads could be failing. Thank you.

  • How does including a .csv work in an enum?

Looking at "DATA.CSV" I see all the ID's used to populate the enum in column B, along with other data. My question: How does the enum know that it is using "column B" to retrieve it's members? There must be some other logic in the application yet I don't see it. What else should I look for? Thanks.

Then using VS 2010, connected to the very same file (a mdf file) i run the query above and i get a success message. WTF!

    How does application/JVM know which classes if implemented key handling interfaces ? Does it use java Reflections or does it check all the classes for methods ? How can a application or executing JVM understanding to deliver the user event or call the specific methods on a class that implemented the keylistener interface. Does it look at all the classes if those methods are implemented or how does it know which classes implmented keylistener interface ? If you dont implement the keylistener Interface for a class but still implmentation all its methods. Do the class still process the user event occurred ?

A way to select in any page, all elements with no children. Any suggestion ? Sorry, I forgot to add the "empty" part, I am actually already using the *:empty selector, but it's not working for any tag that has a nodeText as a child. So it's working for any input, image, object, but not for h2, h1, or any p.
