So I try to do this: WebClient proxy = new WebClient(); proxy.DownloadStringCompleted += (o, dscea) => System.Diagnostics.Debugger.Break(); proxy.Credentials = new NetworkCredential("username", "password"); proxy.DownloadStringAsync(new Uri("https://..../.../data.xml")); As you can see I try to validate. The data IS correct, and the code works when I try to download something from twitter. What am I forgetting to connect to this xml file?

    Hi, I am planning to write a generic python module for installing a package. This script should retrieve the module from a remote machine or locally and install it on a given host and user. However, there needs to be changes made to the package files based on the host, user and given environment. My approach is to use XML to describe changes to be made to package files based on environment. It will first extract the package to the user directory and then using an xml configuration file, it should replace the file values in the package directory. So, I just split nrNums into nrThreads equal chunks (well, the last one won't be equal; if nrThreads doesn't divide by nrNums, it will also contain the remainder, of course). I start nrThreads threads. They all test each number in their respective chunk and see if it is prime or not; they mark everything out in a bool array that keeps a tab on all the primes. The threads all turn a specific element in another boolean array ThreadsFinished to true when they finish. Now the weird part begins: The threads never all end. If I debug, I find that ThreadNr is not what I assign to it in the loop but another value. I guess this is normal since the threads execute afterwards and the counter (the variable i) is already increased by then but I cannot understand how to make the code be right. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance. P.S.: I know the algorithm is not very efficient; I am aiming at a solution using the sieve of Eratosthenes also with x given threads. But for now I can't even get this one to work and I haven't found any examples of any implementations of that algorithm anywhere in a language that I can understand.

    I've got in-memory dataset with couple of tables that is populated in code. Data-bound grids on the gui show table contents without a problem. Then I try to export the dataset into XML: ds.WriteXml(fdSave.FileName, XmlWriteMode.WriteSchema); and get empty XML (with couple of lines regarding dataset names but without any tables) If I export table directly I've got all the data but dataset name is obviously wrong: ds.Fields.WriteXml(fdSave.FileName, XmlWriteMode.WriteSchema); What am I missing? Is there any reasonable way to write the whole dataset into file?

  • Jython project in Eclipse can't find the xml module, but works in an identical project

    I have two projects in Eclipse with Java and Python code, using Jython. Also I'm using PyDev. One project can import and use the xml module just fine, and the other gives the error ImportError: No module named xml. As far as I can tell, all the project properties are set identically. The working project was created from scratch and the other comes from code checked out of an svn repository and put into a new project. What could be the difference? edit- Same for os, btw. It's just missing some path somewhere...

It does work if the span is hard coded into the page for example: <span title="text to populate" class="type">test</span> I'm guessing that the XML is not getting loaded into the DOM in the right way (or something like that) Any Ideas?

  • Simple Grouping With TableSorter Plugin

    Im playing around with the Tablesorter plug-in for jQuery and was trying to get a very simple grouping functionality added into it. Using the follow html/js works great until you click sort again and reverse the order. The headers get moved to the bottom of the group when this happens. The following is my (admitedly hacky) attempt at it.   • Parsing GeoRSS Feed with jQuery

    I'm attempting to use the jQuery jFeed plugin for parsing an Atom, GeoRSS feed and I'm running into issues extracting the information I need. For example, I need to extract the summary element and I would like to render the contents in a div on my HTML page. Additionally, I'd like to extract the contents from the georss:point elements and pass them into Google Maps to render them as points on a map. The problem is that it seems jFeed is stripping out the GeoRSS-related information. For example, I can extract the title element without issues, but it seems it doesn't extract the summary or georss:point elements, at all.
