• I cannot connect to SQL Server Express using VB.NET

  Can someone tell me what I am missing? I am using this connection string to connect to my database and still it won't connect: Dim str As String = "Provider = .NET Framework Data Provider for SQL Server; Data Source=C:\Users\konin\Documents\UHMS\bin\Debug\UHMS.mdf;Integrated Security=True;Connect Timeout=30;User Instance=True" This is the process I used to get the data source: right-click the database select properties and click select data source I hope I am clear enough. • How to grab data from webpage in Chrome and output into Chrome extension popup?

  For a Google Chrome extension, none of the Javascript I write to manipulate the DOM of the extension popup.html seems to have any effect on the popup's DOM. • CALayer rotation on Y axis ignores z position

  Hi, i have some CALayers one on top of the other with different z-values. the z-values are sequential (1,2,3 ...). i wrote some code that changes the y-rotation of a CALayer when i click on it. the y-rotations changes to -30.f the problem is that when i click on a CALayer it rotates and goes behind the CALayers that are actually beneath it (by z-value ordering). i understand that changing the y-rotation by -30.f actually takes the CALayer back in a sense. but shouldn't it consider the z-value as the index of the CALayer in the container and make sure it stays on top of lower z-values ?

  Hello Guys, I am having some problems concerning starting javax.swing.Timer after a mouse click. I want to start the timer to perform some animation after the user clicks on a button but it is not working. • DropdownList autoposback after client confirmation

  I have a dropdownlist with the autopostback set to true. I want the user to confirm if they really want to change the value, which on post back fires a server side event (selectedindexchanged). I have tried adding an onchange attribute "return confirm('Please click OK to change. Otherwise click CANCEL?';") but it will not postback regardless of the confirm result and the value in the list does not revert back if cancel selected. When I remove the onchange attribute from the DropdownList tag, the page does postback. It does not when the onchange attribute is added. Do I still need to wire the event handler (I'm on C# .Net 2.0 ). Any leads will be helpful. Thanks!

• How to keep submit button visible and executable upon textarea onblur

  I have a <div id="comment_posting_holder"> tag that holds a form with two elements: a textarea box and a submit button. I want to have the div tag (containing the textarea and submit button) disappear if I click somewhere "OTHER" than the submit button. I have a start for the code below. So upon leaving focus from the textarea, I can make the div tag disappear. I tried placing in a mouseclick event inside the blur function for the submit button but that did not work. Any suggestions? Thank you! **Facebook does this with it's comments. I removed my javascript that automatically refreshes the page to make sure that wasn't refreshing before anything was submitted somehow. Could the difference in IE7 have to do with the fact that the domain of the form (forms.netsuite.com) is different than the domain of the parent page(checkout.netsuite.com) and it's being submitted over HTTPS?

What I want to do is something like this: <div><span id="click">hello</span></div> <div><p class="find">world></p></div> When the span with the id "click" is pressed, I want to match the next element with the class "find", which in this case is not a sibling of the clicked element so next or nextAll won't work.

In other words, Button Click Event() from code behind will execute the necessary. After that, I would like to post the same data to another ASp.Net Page, aspx from another domain. So, how can I do it? I tried creating a Form in Button Click Event and a javascript to Submit the Form so that it will post. But the Form is not appearing hence there is already aForm` on the page. Is there anyway to do it?

  Him I'm trying to add a jQuery tooltip to a dynamically generated list, the text I want to display the tooltip on is in a table, so my CSS tooltip doesn't work: CSS tooltip. I tried to add this jQuery tooltip to the page, it works on my local test page, but I think the problem has something to do with uniqur ids, and I'm not sure how to implement the bind all function explained there: "To bind all of the targets to their corresponding content, it takes only one line: $(".tooltip-target").ezpz_tooltip(); Calling ezpz_tooltip() on a class will bind the hover event to each element, and because of the naming convention it will know which content to display." Can someone help me to understand what exactly I have to do to make this work on a dynamic page? The page is Euroworker's checkout product page. (You'll have to add some items to the basket, click the home button on the left of the bnav bar and click the little white button "kjøp" then the orange button "handlevogn".) Thanks.

  Hi all, first post here, I come in peace :) I've searched but can't quite find what I'm after. I am trying to manipulate the selected option of a select box. Can someone please explain why this works: $('#some_select_box').click(function() { $('#some_select_box option:selected').remove(); }); but this doesn't: $('#some_select_box').click(function() { $('this option:selected').remove(); }); I just want to use "this" instead of spelling out the id of the select box - can someone point me in the right direction for the correct syntax? It's driving me mad because it looks like it should be really simple. And I'm sure it is to someone, but not me, cos its the end of the day and I'm brain-fried... Any pointers much appreciated. • Adding an ActionScript eventListener that takes the whole sprite

  Hello, I have a very simple constructor in ActionScript as the following: public function ButtonTest() { this.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, browseFiles); } My problem is that when I open the SWF file itself, the window is not full size and the whole area responds to the mouse click. If I expand the window to full size, a margin of like 200 pixels on the left is not clickable. I hope I make some sense. The issue is that I had the .SWF file in a in my HTML code, and when I make it small, it seems that only the center of the SWF file is clickable. I hope someone can please help me. Thank you, Rudy

  I have a database on line with Godaddy (who uses SQL Server 2005). They provide basic management tools, but tell you that for more advanced tools you can connect directly using SSMS. I followed their instructions to ensure my online database will accept remote connections, and can apparently log in using SSMS with success (after giving my hostname and access data). • HTML Links on IzPack HTMLInfoPanel not working correctly

  In my installer (created using IzPack) i am using HTMLInfoPanel, in the HTML data for this info panel I have a website link and an email address. The problem is 1) When I click on the website link, the page is opened in the Installer panel itself, instead of open the page in the default browse window. 2) When I click on the email link, the page in the panel just refreshes and does nothing instead of opening the mail client for the user.   Here is my test page (dont mind the layout right now) https://www.bcidaho.com/test_kalyani/employer-plans-test.asp i found something weird. if you click back and forth between tab 1 and tab 2, its fine. if you click tab 3, and got to another tab, the content dissapears... and i can not figure out why???
