That returns the link to the paste online. For example: echo timtjtim | pastebinit gave me the link paste.ubuntu.com/8010000 Which I can share. How can I do this with a file - for example a log file. Surely I don't have to open - > copy all - > open paste.ubuntu.com -> paste it?

    I am building a social bookmarking service that is monetized in part by Google Adsense. However, I don't know how to influence how the ads are displayed. I think Google scans my pages and decides itself which ads to show where. Navigation on my site is mainly based on the selection of categories or tags being provided by the users. So after a user filters a list of bookmarks by the tag "SEO", I think I know pretty well what he is looking for. So I am looking for a service that allows me to show contextual ads for these particular keywords. How I can guide Google to show relevant ads? Can you recommend an alternative ad network, that gives me more control?

    I'm new to PHP =) Right now I am using PHP includes for my site template. I have my header, containing all my <head></head> info. What I want to do is write a code that will take the contents of the <h1></h1> tag from the page, and echo it into the <title></title> tag in my header.php include. It looks like it's getting the current page, then putting the contents of the h1 tag into the variable $element, and then echoing it. But nothing happens when I put it into my page.     I just installed Windows Server 2008 R2, including the Desktop Experience feature, and activated the Themes service. I've activated Aero. I have everything there, except that when I drag windows, I only see the border of the window as I'm dragging. In other/older SKUs of Windows, there was a checkbox that I think said "Show Window Contents While Dragging", but I can't find such a checkbox on this OS.

  • Download contents of FTP but only first 10meg of each file?

    I have an FTP of very large files scattered amonst smaller files. I was to be able to download the entire FTP contents, but limit the amount downloaded for each file to 10meg or so. So all files less than 10 meg will be in tact, but all files larger than 10 meg will have the first 10 meg of data. Is this at all possible? Is there at least a way to download all files smaller than 10meg?

    For example: I'm in the directory: F:\Data Inside this directory, I have four directories: F:\Datadir 22179 22915 23459 23460 These directories have various content, including directories and files. I'm trying to run something like: rmdir /s *\* where I delete all the contents of these numbered directories, while leaving the empty directories. Is there a one-liner that can do this, or do I have to loop through the sub-directories?

    I am copying a 4.7 GB dvd contents into my local drive but the total size of DVD is being shown as 415 GB!. How is that possible? Because of which it is showing less space (as my drive is of 150 GB) and thus cannot be copied? I am surprised that how a 4.7 GB dvd contains 415 GB data?   • Is it possible to view the contents of an underlying NFS mount without unmounting the NFS content?

    I have a shared directory on a server - let's call it /home/shared - which is mounted with content from another server via nfs. When it is unmounted /home/shared is supposed to be empty - however, running du -x on the directory indicates that it is not empty. I cannot unmount the NFS content to inspect the mount point, since it is in use by others. Is there any way that I can view/edit the contents of the actual mount point (not the NFS content) while leaving the NFS content mounted for others to use?

    Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to prevent the contents of a uiscrollview from moving unsteadily when scrolling manually by setting the content offset. When scrolling by touch the text remains clear and steady. I would like to recreate this by animating with the animated option set to false. I'm using a timer to scroll at a given interval. The text is being drawn to a view in the contents, but it vibrates and it becomes more difficult to read clearly when animating at a greater speed. The speed varies and the scrolling must respond to changes in speed quickly.   • How can I make the modal popup scroll its contents with the page?

    I've got a modal popup and when it loads contents that are taller than the browser height I am unable to scroll down to view the rest of the information. Instead the background can scroll but the popup won't. Instead I'd like to have the popup stay put and when the user scrolls up or down it leave the popup in place and let them scroll to the bottom of the contents. If you make a super long post on Facebook the popup works correctly and I'd like to know how I can get this same effect with this control.

    I would like to read and write the contents of large ( 2GB), raw volume files (e.g. MRI scans). These files are just a sequence of e.g. 32 x 32 x 32 floats so they map well to 1D arrays. I would like to be able to read the contents of the binary volume files into 1D arrays of e.g. float or ushort (depending on the data type of the binary files) and similarly export the arrays back out to the raw volume files. What's the best way to do this with C#? Read/Write them 1 element at a time with BinaryReader/BinaryWriter? Read them piece-wise into byte arrays with FileStream.Read and then do a System.Buffer.BlockCopy between arrays (keeping in mind that I want 2GB arrays)? Write my own Reader/Writer?

    I need a cross browser way of capturing the right mouse click, preventing the default context menu and making it where when the user drags the mouse they can pan the contents of a div. This is largely similar to Google maps in that they will grip the contents and drag to see what they want. No external libraries please. I am already capturing the events, and know that this will prevent default actions: if (evt.preventDefault) { evt.preventDefault(); } else { evt.returnValue = false; } But this doesn't prevent the context menu AFAIK. Edit: I really am unsure about how to prevent the context menu and what the best way to manipulate the scroll bars would be? examples would be great

    I have the following CSS style code for my table: td { overflow: hidden; white-space:nowrap; } td:hover { overflow: visible; } However, when I hover over a <td> element whos contents (text) are hidden, the result is that the contents become visible but are behind the content of the adjacent cell (right side). I do not think that z-index can be applied to table cell elements, so is there a CSS attribute that I can specify within my td:hover style which will make the content of my <td> tag overlap the content in adjacent cells?

    Is there any way to remove the contents of an file in php, do we have any php command that does that, I know unlink but I do not want to delete the file instead I just want to remove the contents of that file. I have an file which I pass while called a getCurrentDBSnap function, it takes in the file from /home/test/incoming folder and populates currentDB table state into the file using fputcsv and puts back file to /home/test/outgoing. Currently file stays in incoming folder and when I can call the function getCurrentDBSnap it would take the file and override with latest state of DB into it. Q: My question is, is it possible instead of overwriting the file, we can remove the content of file after ever getCurrentDBSnap such that file in incoming folder would be always empty ? Hope it makes sense :)

    Im currently using a UITableView like any other, and I am researching into the ability to perform a swipe gesture on the screen, which will then shift the contents of the visible table over to display new content for example: swiping right-to-left on the screen would change (via animation) the contents within each of the cells on screen to show new data. What I can do is detect a swipe on the cells, or perhaps on the UITableViewController, but what I dont know how to do two fold: 1) Change data in all cells (could you have a set of hidden views within a custom table cell that animate in and out of each cell per swipe?) 2) How can you do this to all cells?
