    I am trying to upload multiple files into a SharePoint LIST as attachments. (can't use Document Libraries). I'm trying to use jquery to accomplish this but I'd appreciate any help or advise you may have concerning how best to upload to a list. For instance, can multi-uploads be accomplished when creating a new item? If you have code or examples/url's I can refer to I would welcome that. Cheers. PS - I need to select multiple files to upload at one go too...I know you can do this with flash-uploaders but can this be done for ASP.NET and specifically for SharePoint?

  • Need a list of all countries in the world, with a longitude and latitude coordinate

    I need a list of all the countries in the world, with one lat/long coordinate for the country. I had a look at GeoNames, but all I can seem to find are lists that have the countries as well as cities in the same list. I guess I can just parse it and filter out the countries, but I was hoping to avoid that. Basically, what I need; Country name - Lat/long coordinate (some sort of center of the country) It doesn't need to say anything about continent, but I wouldn't mind if it did. _L

  • Binding Generic List Array to GridView

    Hi I have a List which returns an array of "Question". My question is how can I bind this to a grid view? When I try to call Question.Ordinal I get that it does not exist in the data source. I am using the following code: GridView1.DataSource = myList.GetQ(); GrdiView1.DataBind(); myList.GetQ() returns a List which is an array of "Question". When I set the column DataField to "!" I get the object Question. My question is how can I get the objects property? I tried "!.Ordinal" does not work. I was reading this post for reference, here, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I've made an edit page for most of them, however I'm having trouble with showing edit options for my Sellers Proprety. It is an list<Seller> object. For example group 3 [[1,2,3,4,5,6],[2,4,6,8,10,12]] should return [[[1,2,3],[4,5,6]],[[2,4,6],[8,10,12]]] Is there any way to do that ?

    I want to write a function that could check every item in a list is true or false. If at least one element is false, it will return true, so that: assert_eq "checkFalse [true; false; true]" (checkFalse [true; true; true]) false; assert_eq "checkFalse [false; false]" (checkFalse [false; true]) true; I am an absolute beginner in OCaml and I don't know how to approach this. I tried using a for loop, something like: let rec checkFalse (bools: bool list) : bool = for i = 0 to bools.length do if bools.length == false then false else... (I don't know how to continue) Then it said "Unbound record field...." I also tried using find like: if (find false bools != Not_found) then true else false But my ways did not work.     I have a C++ program that uses a std::list containing instances of a class. If I call e.g. myList.push_back(MyClass(variable)); it goes through the process of creating a temporary variable, and then immediately copies it to the vector, and afterwards deletes the temporary variable. This is not nearly as efficient as I want, and sucks when you need a deep copy. I would love to have the constructor of my class new something and not have to implement a copy constructor just to allocate my memory for the second time and waste runtime. I'd also rather not have to immediately find the class instance from the vector/list and then manually allocate the memory (or do something horrible like allocate the memory in the copy constructor itself). Is there any way around this (I'm not using Visual Studio BTW)?

I have: var the_list = new List<int>(); the_list.Add(1); the_list.Add(2); the_list.Add(3); string[] the_array = new string[the_list.Count]; for(var i = 0 ; i < the_array.Count; ++i) the_array[i] = the_list[i].ToString(); ...which looks to be very ugly to me. Is there an easier way? Note: I'm looking for an easier way - not necessarily a faster way.

    Hello, i need to compare two std::list < double , but some doubles may be invalid numbers (QNAN). If any invalid numbers are list entries the compare process won't work, because a comparison of the same invalid value will always result in 'false'. What is the easiest and most elegant way to solve the problem? My idea was to create copies of both lists, iterate through them and remove invalid values and then compare the remaining lists. The lists will typically have 20-50 values in them. Is there a more resource friendly way to solve it?

Is there any way i can get the list or if thats not possible then is there any possible intent (e.g. PICK) by which i can allow the user to select a file and then access the path of the file the user selected??   • Getting values from datagrid view column to list<>

    My main form in my application has a datagrid view that can have 1 to many user selected inputs. Column 8 of this grid is for the user to input "time in minutes." I have a separate class where I have built a timer that counts down from whatever time the user specifies down to 0. What I need is to create a series of alarms that go off as the timer counts down that are triggered by the user input values in column 8 of my datagrid. I think the best way to do this is to build a list< from the values in the datagrid. I for whatever reason can't quite figure out how to get the values from the datagrid in to a list< in my other class. Hopefully I explained in a way that makes sense.

They may be confusing at first but if one gets used to the syntax, it is much better than nested complicated for loops.
