  • Problem importing mysql triggers generated from mysqldump

    I am using phpmyadmin for using the mysqldump query, but as per my requirement i have to create a new database which is clone of the previous one, now in this case when i import the main DB it contain all the trigger information as well with the DB name mentioned in it.. As i import this DB to new one my triggers get imported as well but the trigger_schema are not changed as per new DB.. What could be done to get resolve this problem?

  • auto_increment in MySQL - can I omit it?

    I've noticed that PHPmyAdmin creates the following SQL for table creation: CREATE TABLE something ( ... ) auto_increment=1; When I write a database creation script I don't use the auto_increment bit. From reading related questions here I understand that it determines the starting value for auto_increment values. But it is good practice to reset it to 1, or should I just leave it out of the SQL so that the default is used?

    I'm new in gwt. and need to know how to use JSON in gwt so i try this simple data loader but i'm still confuse. I create a project named 'tesdb3' in eclipse. I create the PHP side to access the database, and made the output as JSON.. I create the userdata.php in folder war. then I compile tesdb3 project. Folder tesdb3 and the userdata.php in war moved in local server(I use WAMP). I put the PHP in folder tesdb3. Is there any wrong use from my code? Is that necessary to move the compiled project to local server folder?(i do it following a tutorial from google).     I have installed XAMPP on my computer which is Windows 8 pro. I use to work with Windows 7 every time I run the index.php file on Windows 8 it shows the code on the browser IE10. Here is what I have done: I have named the file correctly: index.php I have installed the server and saved the files inside c:/xampp/htdocs/PHP/ I have used to open and close all PHP tags and everything else seems working fine, like, PHPMyAdmin, and the Ini file I don't know whats wrong and it is driving me crazy ...     Hi I have a MySQL server that I need access through a VPN. I use MySQLdb package to access MySQL server in Python. When I can access the server without VPN, it works fine, but when I'm at certain locations, I need to connect through VPN. My computer is connected to the VPN and I can access the database through PHPMyAdmin, but MySQLdb gives me an error message: OperationalError: (2003, "Can't connect to MySQL server on 'MY_IP' (10061)") Any ideas on why it's not working?     I have realised after making about 20 tables that I need to user utf8_unicode as opposed to utf8_general. What is the fastest way to change it using PHPMyAdmin? I had one idea: Export the database as SQL then using notepad run a find and replace on it and then reimport it... but it sounds like a bit of a headache. Is there a better way?
