• Share Localization

    - by fop6316
I was able to localize my Alfresco Model (+ constraints lists) by following these rules : http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Data_Dictionary_Guide#Model_Localization But I would like to know if there is something similar for Share ? Do we only have to use the "label-id" attributes without worrying of any convention ? Is it better to use : label.companyName=Company name or something like sop_sopModel.field.sop_companyName.title=Company Name or anything else ? I didn't see any recommandation on the wiki. Here is an example of label-id's I don't know how to format. This is a part of my share-config-custom.xml file. I know this is not really important but I would like to do things properly. <config evaluator="aspect" condition="sop:company"> <forms> <field-visibility> <show id="sop:companyName" /> <show id="sop:companyAddress" /> </field-visibility> <appearance> <set id="sopPanel" appearance="bordered-panel" label-id="???" /> <field id="sop:companyName" label-id="???" set="sopPanel" /> <field id="sop:companyAddress" label-id="???" set="sopPanel" /> </appearance> </forms> </config> Thanks

  • Strange behaviour of CheckBox and TwoWay bound property

    - by walkor
Hello, everyone. I fell in the following situation: I have a main UserControl with a DataGrid (which contains List). I need to show different panels depending on properties of the selected row(object). So i've created 2 controls and included them into this main control. Main control has 2 public properties - public List<ComplexObject> SourceList { get; set; } and public ComplexObject CurrentObject { get; set; } Pseudo-code: <UserControl x:Name="Main"> <DataGrid ItemsSource="{Binding SourceList}" SelectedItem="{Binding CurrentObject, Mode=TwoWay}"/> <Controls:RightPanelFirst Visibility="condition2"/> <Controls:RightPanelSecond Visibility="condition2"/> </UserControl> RightPanelFirst and RightPanelSecond have the following xaml: <UserControl> <... content here...> <CheckBox IsChecked="{Binding CurrentObject.ComplexProperty.SimpleProperty1, Mode=TwoWay}"> <CheckBox IsChecked="{Binding CurrentObject.ComplexProperty.SimpleProperty2, Mode=TwoWay}" x:Name="cbSecond"> <TextBox IsEnabled="{Binding IsChecked, ElementName=cbSecond}"/> </UserControl> So, my actual steps: Check both checkboxes (object values are set to true) Make other actions in code behind which modify CurrentObject. Then i want UI to reflect the changes, so I call NotifyPropertyChanged("CurrentObject"); SimpleProperty1 remains the same, but SimpleProperty2 resets to false I have no idea why this happens, can anyone help me please? Silverlight drives me mad.

  • Access property of DataContext in ItemTemplate

    - by amrinder
My datacontext has two properties: Items which is a collection and DetailsVisiblity which is enum of type Visiblity. On the page I have a Listbox with ItemsSource="{Binding Entries}". Inside the DataTemplate, I can bind stuff to properties of Items, but how do I get access to DetailsVisiblity which is a property of DataContext? DataContext has two properties: ObservableCollection
Entries, and Visibility DetailsVisiblity. Item class has two properties: Title and Details. Here is the view. How do I bind Visiblity of the second TextBlock to DetailsVisiblity property? <ListBox "{Binding Items}"> <ListBox.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <StackPanel> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Title}" /> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Details}" Visibility="{Binding ???}" /> </StackPanel> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.ItemTemplate> </ListBox>

  • document.getElementById returns null for my drop-down select menu

    - by tucson
I am trying to create a drop-down select menu with custom css (similar to the drop-down selection of language at http://translate.google.com/#). I have current html code:

One Two Three

and the Javascript: function mopen(id) { // cancel close timer mcancelclosetime(); // close old layer if(ddmenuitem) ddmenuitem.style.visibility = 'hidden'; // get new layer and show it ddmenuitem = document.getElementById(id); ddmenuitem.style.visibility = 'visible'; } But document.getElementById returns null. Though if I use the code with a div element that does not contain a select list the document.getElementById(id) returns proper div value. How do I fix this? or is there a better way to create drop-down select menu like http://translate.google.com ?

  • How do I determine when two moving points become visible to each other?

    - by Devin Jeanpierre
Suppose I have two points, Point1 and Point2. At any given time, these points may be at different positions-- they are not necessarily static. Point1 is located at some position at time t, and its position is defined by the continuous functions x1(t) and y1(t) giving the x and y coordinates at time t. These functions are not differentiable, they are constructed piecewise from line segments. Point2 is the same, with x2(t) and y2(t), each function having the same properties. The obstacles that might prevent visibility are simple (and immobile) polygons. How can I find the boundary points for visibility? i.e. there are two kinds of boundaries: where the points become visible, and become invisible. For a become-visible boundary i, there exists some ?0, such that for any real number a, a ? (i-?, i) , Point1 and Point2 are not visible (i.e. the line segment that connects (x1(a), y1(a)) to (x2(a), y2(x)) crosses some obstacles). For b ? (i, i+?) they are visible. And it is the other way around for becomes-invisible. But can I find such a precise boundary, and if so, how?

  • Why won't Internet Explorer (or Chrome) display my 'Loading...' gif but Firefox will?

    - by codeLes
I have a page that fires several xmlHttp requests (synchronous, plain-vanilla javascript, I'd love to be using jquery thanks for mentioning that). I'm hiding/showing a div with a loading image based on starting/stopping the related javascript functions (at times I have a series of 3 xmlhttp request spawning functions nested). div = document.getElementById("loadingdiv"); if(div) { if(stillLoading) { div.style.visibility='visible'; div.style.display=''; } else { div.style.visibility='hidden'; div.style.display='none'; } } In Firefox this seems to work fine. The div displays and shows the gif for the required processing. In IE/Chrome however I get no such feedback. I am only able to prove that the div/image will even display by putting alert() methods in place with I call the above code, this stops the process and seems to give the browsers in question the window they need to render the dom change. I want IE/Chrome to work like it works in Firefox. What gives?

  • How can I use multi-threading with a "for" or "foreach" loop?

    - by saafh
I am trying to run the for loop in a separate thread so that the UI should be responsive and the progress bar is visible. The problem is that I don't know how to do that :). In this code, the process starts in a separate thread, but the next part of the code is executed at the same time. The messageBox is displayed and the results are never returned (e.g. the listbox's selected index property is never set). It doesn't work even if I use, "taskEx.delay()". TaskEx.Run(() => { for (int i = 0; i < sResults.Count(); i++) { if (sResults.ElementAt(i).DisplayIndexForSearchListBox.Trim().Contains(ayaStr)) { lstGoto.SelectedIndex = i; lstGoto_SelectionChanged(lstReadingSearchResults, null); IsIndexMatched = true; break; } } }); //TaskEx.delay(1000); if (IsIndexMatched == true) stkPanelGoto.Visibility = Visibility.Collapsed; else //the index didn't match { MessagePrompt.ShowMessage("The test'" + ayaStr + "' does not exist.", "Warning!"); } Could anyone please tell me how can I use multi-threading with a "for" or "foreach" loop?

  • Choosing right control for list of items

    - by prostynick
I am new to WPF and MVVM. In my ViewModel I have collection of items, for example: class Item { string Title {get; set;} string Description {get; set;} } I would like to create a view, so at the beginning I would have: Title1 Title2 Title3 If user click on one of title it will expand to show description, eg: Title1 Description1 Title2 Title3 If user click on other title, there will be two expanded items: Title1 Description1 Title2 Description2 Title3 This is probably very similar to Expander control and maybe I could use it, but I am doing it other way, to learn something new. What control should I use for this purpose? Should that be ItemsControl or maybe ListBox? I imagine, that if I use ItemsControl, I should probably extend my Item class to have something like bool IsExpanded and bind UI item visibility to that value. But maybe I could use ListBox and somehow bind UI item visibility to... Yeah, to what? :) How could I do such a simple thing?

  • Removing specific tags in a KML file

    - by Legion
I have a KML file which is a list of places around the world with coordinates and some other attributes. It looks like this for one place: <Placemark>
<open>0</open> <visibility>1</visibility>
(Spot ID: 275801) show forecast
<styleUrl>#wgStyle001</styleUrl><Point> <coordinates>19.489747,41.277806,0</coordinates> </Point> <LookAt><range>200000</range><longitude>19.489747</longitude><latitude>41.277806</latitude></LookAt> </Placemark> I would like to remove everything except the name of the place. So in this case that would mean I would like to remove everything except
The problem is, this KML file includes more than 1000 of these places. Doing this manually obviously isn't an option, so then how can I remove all tags except for the name tags for all of the items in the list? Can I use some kind of program for that?

  • Alignment for image display on hover works only in IE7?

    - by Ram
Hello, I tried to display a image when a mouseover on text occurs. It works fine. And the alignment of the image should be shown such that the end of the image should be at the container. It works fine with the code shown below, Only in IE7. In everything, it gets chopped off.. What is wrong here?
  Storefront Window Decal

Can someone help me out. • Child elements changing opacity with parent Image

    - by mitch
    I have a
element which has a background image. On top of that I have some text that is hidden but when the user hovers over the
element that text will show and the
opacity will lower. My problem is when you hover over the div all elements inside that change opacity as well. I have looked through stackoverflow to see if anyone has the same problem but all i found were answers that had RGBA using background colors (not images). Here is my css: .pic{ background-image:url(http://www.granitesportsinstitute.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Green-Sea-Turtle-150x150.jpg); -webkit-transition: all .3s ease-in-out; -moz-transition: all .3s ease-in-out; -o-transition: all .3s ease-in-out; transition: all .3s ease-in-out; } .textstuff{ visibility:hidden; } .pic:hover .textstuff{ visibility:visible; color:black; } .pic:hover{ filter: alpha(opacity=30); -moz-opacity: 0.3; -khtml-opacity: 0.3; opacity: 0.3; } HTML HERE:

this is text

  • Dropdown menu not showing when using position: absolute;

    - by Xiy
I've just turned my website into a responsive layout and along the way I've somehow managed to make my dropdown menus not work. When hovering over 'Drop-downs' they don't display unless I'm using position: relative. They worked before using position: absolute - but it seems they only work with position relative now. When using relative it uses the width which messes up the navigation bar. Using relative: http://d.pr/i/tp5R Using absolute: http://d.pr/i/j7r1 CSS for my sub-menu div.left_first_header ul.sub-menu { width: 125px; top: 14px; z-index: 2; height: 100%; position: absolute; -webkit-border-radius: 0px 0px 4px 4px; -moz-border-radius: 0px 0px 4px 4px; background: url(images/drop_down_bg.jpg); padding-left: 15px; padding-right: 15px; background-repeat: repeat; } jQuery for the drop down functionality jQuery(document).ready(function ($) { jQuery("ul.dropdown li").hover(function() { $('ul:first',this).css('visibility', 'visible'); }, function() { jQuery(this).removeClass("hover"); jQuery('ul:first',this).css('visibility', 'hidden'); }); }); My website http://wpvault.com/kahlam/ Considering it's 4am I've probably made a really stupid simple mistake. I apologise if I've missed anything.

  • Having trouble on mouse over tabs

I downloaded a webpage template from the internet because I don't know how to design webpage on photoshop. This was the one I downloaded: http://www.freewebtemplates.com/download/templates/9839 And modified it. And I have this code for mouse over tabs from dynamic drive. • Linux-Containers — Part 1: Overview

    - by Lenz Grimmer
"Containers" by Jean-Pierre Martineau (CC BY-NC-SA 2.0). Linux Containers (LXC) provide a means to isolate individual services or applications as well as of a complete Linux operating system from other services running on the same host. To accomplish this, each container gets its own directory structure, network devices, IP addresses and process table. The processes running in other containers or the host system are not visible from inside a container. Additionally, Linux Containers allow for fine granular control of resources like RAM, CPU or disk I/O. Generally speaking, Linux Containers use a completely different approach than "classicial" virtualization technologies like KVM or Xen (on which Oracle VM Server for x86 is based on). An application running inside a container will be executed directly on the operating system kernel of the host system, shielded from all other running processes in a sandbox-like environment. This allows a very direct and fair distribution of CPU and I/O-resources. Linux containers can offer the best possible performance and several possibilities for managing and sharing the resources available. Similar to Containers (or Zones) on Oracle Solaris or FreeBSD jails, the same kernel version runs on the host as well as in the containers; it is not possible to run different Linux kernel versions or other operating systems like Microsoft Windows or Oracle Solaris for x86 inside a container. However, it is possible to run different Linux distribution versions (e.g. Fedora Linux in a container on top of an Oracle Linux host), provided it supports the version of the Linux kernel that runs on the host. This approach has one caveat, though - if any of the containers causes a kernel crash, it will bring down all other containers (and the host system) as well. For example, Oracle's Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel Release 2 (2.6.39) is supported for both Oracle Linux 5 and 6. This makes it possible to run Oracle Linux 5 and 6 container instances on top of an Oracle Linux 6 system. Since Linux Containers are fully implemented on the OS level (the Linux kernel), they can be easily combined with other virtualization technologies. It's certainly possible to set up Linux containers within a virtualized Linux instance that runs inside Oracle VM Server for Oracle VM Virtualbox. Some use cases for Linux Containers include: Consolidation of multiple separate Linux systems on one server: instances of Linux systems that are not performance-critical or only see sporadic use (e.g. a fax or print server or intranet services) do not necessarily need a dedicated server for their operations. These can easily be consolidated to run inside containers on a single server, to preserve energy and rack space. Running multiple instances of an application in parallel, e.g. for different users or customers. Each user receives his "own" application instance, with a defined level of service/performance. This prevents that one user's application could hog the entire system and ensures, that each user only has access to his own data set. It also helps to save main memory — if multiple instances of a same process are running, the Linux kernel can share memory pages that are identical and unchanged across all application instances. This also applies to shared libraries that applications may use, they are generally held in memory once and mapped to multiple processes. Quickly creating sandbox environments for development and testing purposes: containers that have been created and configured once can be archived as templates and can be duplicated (cloned) instantly on demand. After finishing the activity, the clone can safely be discarded. This allows to provide repeatable software builds and test environments, because the system will always be reset to its initial state for each run. Linux Containers also boot significantly faster than "classic" virtual machines, which can save a lot of time when running frequent build or test runs on applications. Safe execution of an individual application: if an application running inside a container has been compromised because of a security vulnerability, the host system and other containers remain unaffected. The potential damage can be minimized, analyzed and resolved directly from the host system. Note: Linux Containers on Oracle Linux 6 with the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel Release 2 (2.6.39) are still marked as Technology Preview - their use is only recommended for testing and evaluation purposes. The Open-Source project "Linux Containers" (LXC) is driving the development of the technology behind this, which is based on the "Control Groups" (CGroups) and "Name Spaces" functionality of the Linux kernel. Oracle is actively involved in the Linux Containers development and contributes patches to the upstream LXC code base. Control Groups provide means to manage and monitor the allocation of resources for individual processes or process groups. Among other things, you can restrict the maximum amount of memory, CPU cycles as well as the disk and network throughput (in MB/s or IOP/s) that are available for an application. Name Spaces help to isolate process groups from each other, e.g. the visibility of other running processes or the exclusive access to a network device. It's also possible to restrict a process group's access and visibility of the entire file system hierarchy (similar to a classic "chroot" environment). CGroups and Name Spaces provide the foundation on which Linux containers are based on, but they can actually be used independently as well. A more detailed description of how Linux Containers can be created and managed on Oracle Linux will be explained in the second part of this article. • Alpha interpolation in a pixel shader

    - by c4sh
How does the interpolation in a fragment shader work when it comes to the alpha parameter? I'm programming a shader with SharpDX, DirectX11. My idea is to interpolate 2 3d points of a segment, so that I'll have the position interpolated in between in the pixel shader. But I want to know what happens with the alpha parameter when that position is blocked by another polygon. For instance, if alpha is 1.0 at the left end of my segment and 0.0 at the other one. What is the value of alpha in the middle, 0.5? Or does it depend on the visibility at that point (meaning it could be, for instance, 1.0 OR 0.0 depending on if that part of the segment is hidden by a poolygon?
