    Hi, I am using php/mysql for a search. My table is 'height' and data type = varchar(10) which contains value like (5ft 2in, 5ft 3in,...and so on). While searching I got 2 values - height1 and height2 which are basically the ranges. How can i search in that table with the ranges? say - i will give ranges 5ft 1in to 5ft 10in and want to get the data between those values. I am using php. Please help me about this. thanks.

    Hi, I need to be able to provide a page for the end user where thay can search in the following : Search work Category Price AdType Location and so on. Its important that the user can copy the url and then use it later(and get the same settings). Its also important to be able to save these settings on the user in the database. So far I have created a ModelView class that contains the parameters but I am not sure that this is the right way to go? Maby I should pass all inte the URL. If so, how do I accomplish this?   • Best way of obfuscating / encrypting form data on the iPhone

    I want to create an app which holds sensitive information (imagine it's bank account details, thought it's not). The user enters this information on a form the first time the app starts up. I want this info to be saved, and available, any time the user uses the app (without having to enter a password). However, if the iPhone has a password lock on it, and is stolen, I don't want the data to be easily accessible from the file system. What is the best way of encrypting or obfuscating the data? There is not a lot of data, just a dozen NSStrings from the UITextFields on the form. I'm aware there are encryption export restrictions on the iPhone for non-US developers (I am in UK), so I would prefer to avoid going jumping through any of Apple's app submission hoops to get it on the store.

We are moving to a two-tiered repository approach, so that the stable branch will only get stories fully completed and tested. To achieve that, we would need a way to search within the commit messages for the story code (eg:#s1322) and get a list of the revisions to be used in a subsequent merge command. In Course model most important is course_id, which i'm passing into view throught URL parameter (for example http://127.0.0.1:8000/courses/course/1/). What i want to achieve, is to generate 'invisible' (so user can't change the inserted data) form with just input, but containing request.user and course_id parameter.

I have validation also so would this be set for data that has not been entered on the form. My question is ultimately should all forms represent models- should the database be redesigned to meet this required. Or should the controller set the values that are not required. Or should there be another model that represents the form be created which maps to this table. I am a little confused on this and clarification of anyone would be most appreciated.

    Hi, I had created a web part on MOSS 2007 which displays a organizational chart by searching (Full Text) the user profiles. To identify the subordinates of a user, I used to search for users with the particular user in Manager property. The query looked like this: SELECT AccountName, PreferredName, Manager, WorkEmail FROM scope() WHERE ("SCOPE" = 'People') AND Manager = 'domain\parent_user' But, the same query does not run in SharePoint 2010 as Manager crawled property does not exists. So, I created a new crawled property and mapped it to People:Manager(Text) now, the Manager property is always empty. Even a full crawl after clearing the indexes also not helping. Can anyone please help me in getting manager information in Full Text Search? Thanks in advance!

    Hi, What exactly the definition of a "Lisp form"? As far as I know, it's "either an atom or a list that has a symbol as its first element". But then, this (in Scheme) would not be a form: ((lambda () 42)) ;; The answer to Life, the Universe and Everything. Because the first element of the list is itself another list. And after it's evaluated it will be a procedure (not a symbol). I can find several different websites and tutorials talking about Lisp forms, but none which gives a complete and detailed definition. Where can I find one?

    hello im trying to make a simple page with search engine. i read, that if i want to implement autocomplete/autosuggest with form, i have to use ajax. thats ok for me. there are a lot solutions on the intenret, but unfortunetly all of them is the same script :/ and thats fine for me :) but i want to go further. i want to show autosuggest results in table for example below search form. the data is stored in a simple array (eventualy, source mysql) i know that kind of script isnt easy to write, so i ask you to give me a hint or something. trivial solution is use php, but this needs submit button. help, im stuck :)

Where's the best place to create and store the objects? I'm coming from Delphi, where Form objects were usually stored in global variables. I'm tempted to do it in the static Program class.     My question is "How can I do form repeated validation in Entity with annotation?". I have an Account entity with (email, password and confirmPassword) attributes. When a new user registers a new account, he/she has to fill in email, password and confirmPassword fields. Obviously, password and confirmPassword fields must match. I saw an example of this validation with pure php (form builder) in Stachoverflow like below. $builder->add('password', 'repeated', array( 'type' => 'password', 'first_name' => 'Password', 'second_name' => 'Password confirmation', 'invalid_message' => 'Passwords are not the same', )); But, this is not what I want. I want this functionality with annotation in my Account entity.     I want to make an app in .net to search on google for a keyword and click on a specific link from the results. Like a bot. How can I get the coordinates of screen where the specific link appears in search results so I can do a click on it. The component where the page loads will have javascript enabled so just parsing the html is not enought. It must look like a real user is clicking on the link.( it`s for a school project involving seo) or What is the best approach to do this ?
